I walked in here during their big sale and came out with the cutest skirt ever! It was regularly $70 dollars, but I got it for $26 - what a steal! The staff here is very nice - I had a woman helping me with sizes and such. While sweet, she was slightly overbearing and I felt a little bit frazzled from all her chatting. After I started trying on clothes, however, things got more relaxed. The woman at the checkout counter was very nice. Prices here are kind of high...for someone like me. I am a very thrifty person. I have shopped the Loft for years hut had a horrible experience at the Alderwood Mall store with my daughters. They had a rack that said all dresses $39.00. I asked the saleslady to verify they were all that amount. She affirmed yes! My daughter tried one on and loved it. She went to pay and the salesperson said it wasn't a Loft brand and it was $398.00. WHAT? At the Loft??? My daughter was so disappointed. She mentioned it was on the $39.00 rack. There was no - I am sorry or any sympathy. I was shocked. Then my other daughter in the dressing room heard the other salesgirl talking very unkindly about me to the salesperson. It was a 50% off your entire purchase day and I asked if that was including sales. She was mimicking me and saying I was trying to get the 39.00 dresses for $20. I wasn't talking about that rack but the sales rack. I had my granddaughters with me too. I was embarrassed by the way we were treated. I am a huge Loft buyer - personally and for gifts but I am rethinking my loyalties. There are way too many other stores to shop at. This was on you / mark your racks correctly and if you make a mistake offer condoles. Also, don't talk unkindly about customers in the dressing rooms - someone may be listening. read more

This LOFT location is a smaller size store in the outside portion of Alderwood Mall. I don't tend to shop much there because the merchandise is very cramped together. However, I go regularly to return online purchases, and the service is always impeccable and kind. With my latest return today, she actually thanked me for bringing back the merchandise because they have been selling out that style. I find her gracious and professional. LOFT changed online returns to be digital only via a phone size device, no paper receipt. I received email acknowledgement in about three minutes. Value wise, LOFT tends to be reasonable, especially during sales. read more

I had the strangest experience with one of the workers today. I had a return from Ann Taylor at Tulalup, and the women said I couldn't return to the Loft. Not a big deal but she insisted to tell me there are no Ann Taylor's in WA state and I was wrong. I had the bag and receipt in my hand just saying. She was really snooty it was odd. I wanted to show her on my phone but that's beside the point. She was rude and not very friendly to her coworkers either whom were very helpful. I will call tomorrow to tell them my thoughts and to also see if she was the manager as her attitude towards me was unacceptable. read more

I returned some items on Feb10. Haven't received my refund as of Mar30. People at the counter were very rude and not helpful at all when I went to ask about it. They told me to call the customer service number. When I called, they told me to go to the store. I have even sent emails, no response. I chatted with customer service and they told me that they couldn't do anything but would forward the claim to corporate and they were supposed to call me or email me in 24-48 hours, that hasn't happened. I've been running in circles. Nobody at loft has helped at all. This was the last time I bought at this store or from this brand. I am so very disappointed and upset at how they are handling (or not even trying) this matter. They just don't care. Worst customer service ever. read more

Absolutely horrible service at the Alderwood Mall location. I've ordered online for store pick up, as well as shopped in store and service has been sub par for both. Associates in store are rude and online orders have taken much longer than anticipated, only to be cancelled by the store. I visited Loft in Alderwood Mall tonight. Store number 1460. I have been a loyal customer for years and have introduced the store to many family members. Tonight, I am very disappointed with the treatment of the two Sales Associste. I wished to purchase a shirt found in the Clearance Rack. There were 4 identical shirts. Each shirt had a sale price of $19.99 except for the size Small that I was holding. The Sales Associate said that even if it's identical, it's full price because they typically acquire the same exact items the following year just with different stock numbers. I told her since there was no other size Small, would she honor it. She said no and asked another Sales Girl if she would. The other girl said no, it a different season. I was about to purchase a different size to get the sale price but when I mentioned to them that they should inform Corporate Office that it's a better customer experience if they allowed honoring items in situations like this, the girl in the cash register said, I'll just honor it for you if you want. I mentioned, "I'm not blaming you personally. I'm asking you to provide your Corporate Office with my suggestion as a customer." Instead of agreeing, I was surprised when the other girl said "Obviously you've never worked in a retail store before." I said "yes, I have." And she stormed away. The girl gave me a $2 discount for the item and said "Corporate Office never listen to us." I said, "well that's just too bad." She handed me my bag looking downwards. Not a thank you or any word to make my experience feel any better. The experience definitely left a sour taste in my mouth that my friends and family will hear about, including all my social media account. I just called and talked to a Customer Service agent who said he will pass on my complaint and someone from Corporate Office will call me back 3-5 business days. We'll see if they do and if they actually listen to their customers. read more

Love having this store in Lynnwood. Very nice, cute and stylish clothes, but the prices are what really make it great. Always having a sale and always have great markdowns. When in need of a night on the town or business casual look that is age appropriate and still meets my tight budget constraints this is where I go. read more

A mess of a store. A mess and rude of a staff. We've been customers to this store for years never had such a horrible experience. Rude manager who didn't want to assist in helping with transaction and it got the point where we had to call customer service and she was giving them her nasty attitude. I went to Loft because I am looking for some nice clothes for an upcoming trip. When I told the sales staff what I was looking for they got me in to fitting room and brought the clothes to me to try on. Claudia and the Manager were wonderful and I left with beautiful clothes that fit perfectly! MY new favorite store! read more

I love this store. The staff at this location is really friendly and super helpful. They always have great sales and their clothing seems to be really good quality for the money. The layout is easy to maneuver and everything is always neat and tidy. Even when filled with people, it is still a pleasure shopping here. I definitely go to loft when i need casual clothes, or if i need a good basic t-shirt or tank tops.. they have good customer service and usually you can always save money because they have some kind of coupon to use. definitely check out loft, good prices for the value. read more

As a petite size 14, I've always loved that I can find great clothes here that fit me well. I'd give more stars for that. But I went there this week and was treated so horribly! I was two days past the return date - a $40 pair of pants that they would only give me $4 for since I was past the 45 days. I asked if I could talk to a manager to see if they could make an exception. She immediately gave me the full refund which I really appreciated, but as I thanked her she wouldn't even look at me or acknowledge that I said anything. She completely ignored everything I said, and I could tell she just wanted me out of there. I would have turned around and spent that $40 on something else but she was so rude I didn't want to stay another minute. I used to be in retail - I totally understand how frustrating customers can be, but they lost my business that day. I'll continue to shop at Loft but not at Alderwood. read more

I like the clothes, but the employees are complete snobs! I walked in one afternoon dressed rather casually, and was not acknowledged or offered any assistance. Meanwhile, other customers who entered the store after me were greeted, told about sales and were offered assistance. Yikes - I had to stop and check for pit stains, or whether I had TP trailing behind me! Needless to say, I left and took my business elsewhere, where I received great customer service. read more
