I asked for help with shoes. People were busy so the Manager helped me- she knew about their products, could tell me how I might like one or another. She was right. She helped me look at pants- I need some badly but not the colors they have- I'll try back later. The 3 pairs pants I got 8 or more years ago still hold up well but I need forest pine green ones now. When I expressed reasonable frustration that a recent purchase couldn't be found, she became highly defensive, accused me of swearing at her (which I did not), and told me to 'calm down' despite my maintaining a normal volume. Once the item was finally found, she proceeded to lecture me about not using my mom's phone number for transactions. When I asked her to please just process the refund and skip the lecture, she repeatedly called me rude to my face and then continued to loudly call me rude to her coworkers as I walked out the door. No other employee intervened. Highly disappointing customer service.

While I was at U-Village, I decided to stop by Athleta to shop for joggers. The employee who helped me was able to easily order the items I wanted, while offering recommendations for similar styles. Since I was somewhat in a rush with an upcoming appointment, the employee swiftly placed an order for me, waiving shipping fees and letting me know when to expect my package and so forth. Easy peasy. The selection here is good, with a decent amount of stock in different sizes and colors. Store was well organized, and I could easily find the different styles of joggers and workout apparel throughout the space. No complaints.

My husband recently purchased a few items for me from Athleta University Village. I wasn't able to return or exchange the items because it had been over 30 days (40 days) since the original purchase date. These items were unused, tagged and I had the original receipt. I understand if I missed the cash return period (the holidays are busy, I meant to make the exchange sooner), but I was very unhappy that I couldn't at least make an exchange. I also made other holiday returns / exchanges that day at Vuori, Anthropologie and Nordstrom that day, and all of them accepted my returns for cash or exchanges. Final note: the quality of Athleta clothing has gone down over the years, but the price remains the same. I was trying on a jacket and I couldn't even zip up the jacket it was so cheap. I will not be making future purchases from Athleta.

These purchases do not meet my stepmothers expectations. I bought him pants, unfortunately they do not meet her requirements. She is increasingly frustrated with these purchases, saying he needs immediate help. My father historically couldn't care less about pants. She has made several calls to me, explaining there is a pants crisis and he has nothing to wear. So, I took him to several places to find pants. He needs 29 length, which most places do not carry. A bit of a back story, my father hates any clothing that is nice. My mother tried purchasing fashionable clothing for my father. He refused to wear her purchases. My stepmother is now trying to upgrade his clothing. At 93, he prefers to wear shorts. So, after trying many stores, we come to Men's Warehouse. We are met with the kind help of Mr. T. He is so helpful in selecting pants for my father. I try to stay in the background, as his wife has deliberate standards for pants. After two hours, one pair of pants is deemed acceptable. These are hemmed to 29 length. So happy for a solution to the pants crisis. Unfortunately, she calls me several weeks later. The custom pants are unacceptable to her. She wishes to return the pants and find a more appropriate pair. Oh no. I am embarrassed to go back to Men's Warehouse after their helpful services. I do take them both back to Men's Warehouse. As my stepmother is very adamant about pants, I let her navigate the pants situation. She comes to me, after being helped. She is unhappy. Several pairs of pants are appropriate for my father. Unexplainable, she refuses the 20.00 feet to hem them. And, they cannot return the altered pants. My father has mobility issues at this stage of life. Meaning, it is difficult to come outside his retirement home. Probably one of the saddest moments in my life, his total confusion at the entire pants transaction. He couldn't believe that we were leaving without a pants purchase. I tried to explain to him that his wife did not approve the suggested pants recommendations. Mr. T was so helpful and positive throughout these encounters. He took an incredible amount of time helping them. He was kind to me, acknowledging my discomfort about the situation. The cashiers seemed the most slammed with returns and ringing up. Nonetheless, a really good rack location.
