Brandy Melville - Clothes - Women's Clothing Near Me - Seattle, Washington

White girl jn Nantucket clothes. All the same basic style and color palette. This store needs to limit the number of people coming in so it's not so fricking crowded. It makes shopping unpleasant. Staff were fine. read more

All the workers are incredibly rude. Every time I go in there I'm always uncomfortable. I would not recommend going here ever. I can't even believe these girls get hired. read more

My daughter is a typical teen girl who watches TikToks and falls victim to whatever is currently trending. She really wanted to go this store so we drove up from Olympia. The store was absolutely packed. I am talking 50-75 people in a little store. It was very hard to shop and see everything because I felt like I was in a mosh pit with everyone else frantic to shop as well. The clothes are very cute and moderately priced. They are "one size fits all" which should mean "one size fits all as long as you are tall and slender". This store is definitely for tall and lean teenaged girls. The employees were zero help with anything and seemed very disinterested in doing anything other than folding clothes from people who tried them on in the dressing room and chose something else. I wouldn't say they were rude but they were short in their answers and it was very clear that they are not expected to interact with guests and certainly not with any friendliness. Anyway, we ended up getting a lot of items. They are fast fashion items so we shall see how long they actually last. read more

Terrible and rude workers! I'm not sure where these people come from but it's insanity! Maybe it's just part of the company tho...they asked my daughter if she needed a bigger size and a few seconds later I hear them laughing...from what I know there's only 1 size at brandy so it almost seemed like mockery and a set up question to make my daughter say yes... this is just disgusting! This whole company needs to be shut down and sent to the back isle of a Ross store! read more

worst location. so disgusting and disorganized the workers make me feel so uncomfortable. girls are so unhelpful and don't know anything. how do these people get hired? they're literally overweight and can't fit the clothes. hire different people and then i'll shop here. read more

Stay away. Return policy is absolute scam (14 days??) and associates clearly do not care. Much better places to shop in U Village that won't rip you off by preventing returns from unused items. read more

I will preface this by saying I am young myself-- not quite a minor, but I did work retail when I was 16 and I understand how difficult it can be. That being said, the environments I worked in were often significantly more stressful than the one being offered here at the Brandy Melville UVillage location. I have never written a review for a location before in my life, unless it was a mom & pop shop that absolutely needed a glowing review. This is not that. I am writing this review because the service I have received at this location, time and time again, has been beyond asinine. The store is the same as it always has been in UVillage, but now it has been moved to a new location. It's a bigger space, requiring more employees. The employees are why I am writing this review. I have rarely been treated with the level of disrespect I am treated with at this location. I dislike UVillage in general, the atmosphere is not for me and the (often upper class, very privileged, blindsided, etc) shoppers tend to irritate me. I have money, I can absolutely shop there, but I don't enjoy the way people turn their noses up at you. Regardless of the area, however, this type of attitude should NEVER be reflected in the people behind the counter. My sister, who's fairly young, has also been treated poorly. My mother has been treated poorly. My father has had racist remarks made towards him because he is a brown latino man, and I have had to deal with countless glances my way and really unprofessional remarks on my appearance. I don't name any names, but here I will. There is a Korean girl who is likely also a student at UW (as most of these employees unfortunately are), her name is Heather Chung. She is known online and in the Seattle space surrounding this location as the pariah of the store. I have never had any experience with her, never seen her in store, but the videos I have seen and the stories I have heard seem like cautionary tales. I rarely buy from Brandy Melville anymore because I do not support their company policy, and the way they treat their employees. Furthermore, on the rare occasion I do go into their stores, I should not be ignored and even looked down upon. read more

Love the clothes selection but the space is too small. The sales associates are always friendly and patient with the customers. There is always a crowd and it can get cosy inside. I hope management will expand the store. read more

Cute clothes, not the greatest experience. The space was packed when I first came in, and it was very hard to find an employee. I came in looking for a popular pair of sweats that I've seen many people wear. I made a drive from Lynnwood, which is about 30-40 minutes away. There's a tiny Brandy in Alderwood Mall in Nordstrom, but I wanted more selection so I put my time into driving south. I couldn't find the sweats, so I asked an employee. She said "we only have these two." This was fine; it's summer so I understand there wouldn't be a wide selection of full length sweats. A little sad, I said "thank you" and turned around. SECONDS later, my mom comes up to me and says "Wow! They have like 20 pairs of the cute sweats you were raving about!" I said "whaaaa" and she said "yaaaa! Here it is!" They had a plethora of sweats and the employee didn't have the energy to walk two steps to find it. That is fine, I get it. I work in retail and it can be hard finding items and we all get a little lazy. Fitting room was an average experience. Next I go to the cash register. The cashier seemed very fake and didn't want to help or interact with me. She said "you can put the item on the table" and then after I swiped my card she didn't put forth extra energy into reaching over the counter. She just left it for me to grab and said "bye." Overall, I wasn't satisfied with my $40 purchase for one pair of sweatpants. The clothes are very cute, but I will probably look towards online shopping in the future. read more

It's really hard to shop comfortably because this shop is so crowded. Expect to wait long lines for the fitting room and cash register. If you are already familiar with this brand and the fit like my cousin is, then you likely won't have any trouble picking out some items and going straight to payment. read more

Do not go to this location unless you want to be bullied like you're in elementary school! The workers are rude to their customers - acting all hoity-toity, holier than thou, giving Regina George impersonators. Their manager needs to take these girls on a retreat - make them touch grass and get in touch with reality, and maybe force them to read a book. It's sad that they need to be rude to people in order to solidify their so called importance in this fat-phobic store. read more

My daughter really wanted to come here... so we did. My daughter loved it, but the customer service to me was THE RUDEST!!!!!! Very disorganized, I couldn't tell which line went to the fitting room and which line went to the cash register, so we waited for 15 minutes for nothing. I mentioned this to the gal at the cash wrap when we got up front to pay and she said nothing. Then, after she rang us up, handed us our bag (after spending over $100.00) and said NOT A THING!!!!! What terrible customer service! I was dumb struck! I had to remind myself that young, immature girls work at these jobs. read more

I love love love Brandy's clothes--always really high quality and super cute. Unfortunately this store is a little disappointing :( selection is not very exciting or good and it really is messy everywhere. Like boxes all over the store and barely anywhere to walk. Workers are not mean like everyone says, they just kind of keep to business and talk amongst themselves and don't bother you until you checkout. Nice experience but things could definitely be organized better :/ read more

I had one of the worst retail experiences of my life at this Brandy Melville location, my friend and I were being led to a dressing room by the store employees themselves only to be suddenly yelled at and told we weren't allowed to be in there. It was completely jarring and confusing, especially because we were just following the directions we were given instead of apologizing for the mistake of clarifying what had happened the staff double down, laughed at us and treated us like we had done something wrong. The situation was uncomfortable, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. There's absolutely no excuse for this kind of behavior. It reflects a total lack of communication among the staff and more importantly, a lack of basic respect for customers, especially since were the reason they're getting paid Brandy Melville seriously needs to evaluate who they're hiring and how they're being trained. I won't be shopping here again I strongly suggest others think twice before stepping into a store where customers are poorly treated . read more

it was a cute first time being at a brandy!! it was fun and super chill. I went twice on the same day and the first lady who helped me was a little rude, reminded me of the memes abt the rude brandy workers the second cashier the next time was SO nice we made small talk and she even gave me advice abt my future overall i loved it! people with an attitude don't ruin my day so i would definitely love to come again!! read more

service is definitely not the greatest at THIS LOCATION. The store is on the smaller side for a brandy but has a pretty good selection. The free stickers are a plus and it is fun to go and look around. Every single item in Brandy is adorable and I wish I could own it all. Many people are annoyed with the one size, but it IS NOT ones size FITS ALL. It is one size, they never say it will fit everyone. Most of the pants and some sweatshirts come in different sizes. No matter how old you are or what your style is or what size you are, you will always find SOME THInG you love. I would recommend choosing a different location, but overall brandy Melville is an awesome place to shop at, and is not super expensive. Would recommend. read more

the employees here are so rude! customer service is EVERYTHING. if you can't be nice then you shouldn't work in sales.

The staff were very kind and did a good job considering how big and busy the store was. A lot of customers were complaining and being rude to them but they were all good sports about it. Wish people could consider these are young girls in a high stress environment. The selection here is fantastic as well! Can't wait for the permanent fitting rooms to open. Shout out to the twin employees they were so sweet and helpful. read more

CHEATING ON CUSTOMERS' PURCHASE THEN REFUSE TO RESPOND TO EMAILS FOR FURTHER UNRESOLVED DISSPUTE I supported this location for a long time. A receptionist double charged my mom for the same item and when emailed with customer support. They went complete silent after their refunding was declined by my bank in Vietnam. Emailed them three times from June 17, 2022 to June 24th, 2022 and still received 0 replies to help or provide further instruction. If you can take people's money without providing items, this is a crime. You should not be in business. read more

i love brandy. so so so so so much. when i walk on in there and see the clothes packed up i start crying. The employ's are always so cute and have a friendly personality. The service for me is always good. The value of the clothes for the price is GOOD. read more

Soooooo incredibly rude! Just walked into the store at 11:45 am-- door was open. The nastiest employee came over and snapped at me that the store isn't open yet. No smile, no apology, just a miserable person. How would I know? Door was not just unlocked, it was open! And it's almost noon on a weekday. This place is the WORST! read more

The costumer service was terrible. While i was trying on clothes the workers were having a very inappropriate conversation and using very profanity words. Although I love brandy melville the store was very messy and unorganized costumers had trouble walking around. On top of that the workers were very messy and rude they had a very rude attitude, especially if you asked them for help they would scoff or roll there eyes behind your back. read more

i would give this place a negative 5 if i could. The clothes at brandy melville fit me perfectly fine and i own some jewelry but the workers seem like they need training. They seem ill-mannered, unprofessional and give off airhead vibes. It would be nice if the owner worked on some training for them to be well mannered. I never talk to the workers but when i see other people attempt to, the brandy workers always ignore them and socialize with the other brandy workers instead. But at least they have cute free stickers to make up for their lack of manners. :) read more

I found some cute stuff and i would definitely go there again! But i wish they had more of a range not just mostly crop tops

this place is sooo tiny and unorganized!! The costumer service was also awful and the employees were rude. It's an eye sore when you walk in, clothes are everywhere and there's also 6+ employees with little walking space. read more

Don't try shipping at Brandy Melville 40 minutes before closing. The three women working had the dressing room closed. When I asked about it being closed, the snarky woman at the register said it was because they are closing in 30 minutes (actually 35 at this point). I pointed out that it was strange to prevent customers from shopping 30 minutes before closing. She replied that they were short staffed. There were THREE clerks in the store. More than there were customers! I let them know I'd be calling the manager about their dressing room closure - they clearly couldn't care less. We went elsewhere to spend our money. I also told another mom and daughter that they weren't letting customers try on clothes, so they left, too. Great job, BM! read more

worst customer service ! two of the workers kept looking at me and laughing and then would look at each other, it was very clear that they were laughing at me. staff made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. i'd say to avoid this place and order online. very unprofessional. read more

After reading all of these horrible reviews I didn't know what to expect knowing I needed to go into the store. I was dreading it but also ready for a challenge if necessary. Gifts purchased on the Brandy Melville website were received and one tank needed to be exchanged. I entered the store upon its opening time and was greeted by a young woman named McKenna. She was very helpful with the exchange while making suggestions. We had a lovely conversation and I found her to be a very warm and engaging sales professional. I am a serious shopper and expect good service. McKenna provided perfect service. Perhaps there has been a staff change since these other reviews? I would shop there again. read more

Wow, I am so surprised with this company's customer service and return policy. For the prices they charge for their clothing, you would think they would care about their customers. I refuse to support stores that are just greedy and not have a reasonable return policy. I called one store and they said the return policy is two weeks but on their website, it's 30 days FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE NOT FROM DATE OF DELIVERY. It took a week and half for the clothes to arrive. read more

Brandy Melville is definitely one of my favorite clothing brands. I was super grateful to be able to stop by the in person store while visiting Seattle opposed to purchasing their clothes online, and it was worth the visit. As far as the store itself, it smelled very pretty, was very organized and cleanly, but the workers definitely lacked a friendly attitude. I heard a few discussing one of their fellow employees (what sounded like was a personal situation of hers) as soon as she left the room. They didn't bother to talk to any of the customers until met at the register, and as I observed and experienced only left shoppers with very blunt comments regarding their return policy. Like many others said, the employees only bother to glare at you and make you feel rushed and uncomfortable. Not the most welcoming vibe, but that's what you get from a cliquey brand that lacks diversity. Also, I didn't notice any price tags on any of their items. I was familiar with the costs based upon their app and website, but it was a bit strange. Other than that, if you're a fan of Brandy Melville and don't plan on going there as a place to hang out with your friends, it's an alright place to shop. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RETURN POLICY!!! Honestly the rudest customer service I have ever received. The store manager Ashely was so rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional and she did not know how to provide good customer service. I think she needs to learn to respect others and be trained in how to talk with customers. It was a shame that the store has such poor customer service. I got a hoodie with stains and I was told it was the final sale since it was exchanged with another one. That is ridiculous!!! 14 days with store credit??? Now I know why this store has such a low rating. If I could give them negative stars I would!!!I did not expect the quality would be good at that price but the customer service was AWEFUL!!! DISAPPOINTED!!! NEVER go there again!!! read more

Absolutely horrific customer service here. I've never written a negative review, but truly felt compelled to write one after shopping at the U Village location today. I would have ordered my clothes online but needed a simple top for an event tomorrow & decided to walk 30 minutes there in the rain. This was my first time in a physical brandy melville store & I was instantly disappointed by the service. Since I had walked a mile in the pouring rain, I was understandably a bit wet, & once I walked in the store the girl behind the counter made a face (of disgust perhaps?) & didn't say anything. I found what I was looking for & wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. There were also two groups of teenage girls who kept giving me odd looks & standing too close to me (we're in a pandemic!). The employees kept their eye on me as if I were about to steal something as well & I felt scrutinized/like I was under a microscope the entire time. At the cash register, the same girl from earlier checked me out & seemed bothered. I tried to be friendly & ask how this [pair of pants] would fit (baggy, tight, etc?) & she just stared me down & said "oh. This fits like a zero to four. Pretty much everything here does" (I wouldn't be buying it if I didn't know that). I simply said thanks & left. I understand how difficult it can be to deal with customers at times: I've worked multiple customer service jobs, including being a barista for the past two years. However, I would never treat even the snottiest of customers on my worst day like this. You don't have to be the customer's best friend--just be cordial & polite! While disappointed, but not surprised, I'd rather not support them anyways (this was my first time shopping there ever--they were the only place in town that I could get this type of top by tomorrow) because I have many friends who don't fit into their insanely small clothes & it's incredibly discriminatory. All in all, the atmosphere was uncomfortable & unwelcoming. The clothing IS cute, but not inclusive at all. The prices actually seem very fair & affordable (cheaper than the past perhaps?) & the quality was one of the best compared to other "mall" brands. Wish they had a better return policy. read more

Describing this place as the worst customer service is an understatement. The staff were rude and unapologetic. There were lots of eye rolling and it was clear that we were an inconvenience. We walked in for a graduation dress and knew exactly what we wanted. It was about to close and we asked to try it on quickly. They said if we can do it in one minute. So, we rushed. During this minute, they yelled at us and gave us a countdown in seconds. I was aware of the time and was checked out within 5 minutes with 2 dresses for my daughter and her best friend. It was unbelievable. The clothes are poor quality (better options and styles at Goodwill) but my daughter loved the dress. I have never felt so humiliated in my life and in front of my daughters. They set an example of how exactly not to be for my daughter and her friends. The customer service is pathetic. My recommendation is to AVOID and not support. read more

I don't understand all of the negative reviews on this place. My family was in town from Tucson and we loved our experience here. We are in the middle of a global pandemic so I understand why the fitting rooms are closed and why they can only allow a certain amount of people in at a time (hence the line). We are lucky retail shops are even open LOL. Girls were really sweet and talkative at checkout. Will definitely visit again!! read more

while i was here workers were not friendly and were very rude when it came to looking through clothes and trying to find sizing. one worker even made a comment about how a pair of jeans wouldn't fit because they are only one size. i had terrible service while being there felt so uncomfortable and nauseous due to the looks and glares from workers and other people, this store is not body friendly at all and has a very specific sizing and ideal body type they expect. I wouldn't recommend my experience was bad and I do not value this store. read more
