Books and more books. I got my reading. Stack.

Great service. Great selection. Great customer service. Great value. Great staff. Good coffee too!

One of my favorite book stores. These guys are huge and carry a variety of books, stationery, games, toys, gifts, CDs and many more. Everything in the store is neatly organized, the staff is super helpful. There is a cafe inside. There is some seating inside the store as well. I like that they keep changing some of their book displays to reflect the current trends. I have discovered many new books going inside the store. They often have some clearance section where you get some Pretty good deals. Highly recommend this bookstore!

Shopping at this location is always something I enjoy because it's two stories of books! I will say engagement wise this location has had by far the most helpful staff. I had at least three different employees ask if I needed help and one checked in on me again to make sure I was doing okay and gave recommendations as well based on what I was looking at.

Bookstores, seemingly a thing of the past, have a special place in my heart. I love to walk in and see books lined on shelf after shelf with so many titles and authors to explore and find. The cafe - the reason for this visit - was clean and bustling. We enjoyed a birthday cake cupcake and a salted caramel cookie. Both tasty and full of too much sugar. Next time, more engagement with books and offerings.

If you are willing to pay $8.10 for a 4-shot double latte, then this is the place for you. I am happy that people read books more than they play video games. As an author myself of seven books, it is somewhat disheartening. My heart goes out to all the devoted readers of non-fiction these days, especially, "Highliner--the Nature, Science and Philosophy of Automobile Driving," in additon to, "The Perfect God, "The 44," and "Agape--Ways of the Eternal Champion", followed soon by "Mini-handbook for the Spiritual Warrior" and "Handbook for the Spiritual Warrior" by Swan Starling, my pseudonym.

It's a huge store and there two level with Starbucks Cafe inside this location. I came late in the evening, so it mostly empty. They closed down toward the back section for a special event. Enjoyed a beverage from the cafe before head out.

Love spending a bit of time in a brick and mortar store. This store combined with an in house Starbucks kept me entertained for several hours on a Sunday afternoon. I even bought a couple of books. Stop in ad keep the book stores open.

With the holidays wrapping up, I decided to venture to the Barnes and Noble located at Northgate Mall (12/31/17). Interesting that there's an elevated Seattle Police perch in the parking lot shared by Sanford's, the steak house and the B&N bookstore. Pretty busy with folks on both floors and cafe. Clearly it had been awhile since I wandered around, since the cookbooks were not on the second floor. But my attention was caught with the various toys and figures imported from Japan. So it became a series of photos and texts between me and The Homie due to Totoro, Pusheen, and Star Wars figures and models. Despite armed with a gift card since June and a 20% off coupon received awhile back in the mail, wandered through all the merch on both floors (books, music, movies, magazines, journals, cards, chocolates, etc), I end up buying a BanZai Star Wars Taikoyaku Stormtrooper figure ($84.95, less 20%, and a $40 gift card), the final cost was $34.82. Not bad! This Barnes and Noble location had items that condensed potential trips to the ID, Funko, Toys RUs, and ThinkGeek. Not Fred Meyer, but had aspects of 'one stop shopping'. I still prefer to shop at indie bookstores or get titles via the library, but this location is pretty decent if one is needing gift ideas.

I purchased this book for my 11 year old son and it was in excellent condition!

My cousin and I were basically playing hide and seek because I couldn't find where she was. Lol. I had a hard time finding it, but once I finally did totally worth it! This cozy bookstore feels like stepping back in time. Shelves are stacked with a mix of used, vintage, and classic books, and honestly... they smell like it too. Lol. There's just something comforting about that old-book scent. You'll find everything from fiction and poetry to rare finds and children's titles tucked in the corners. It's small, quiet, and slightly perfectly imperfect in the best way because every shelf feels like a treasure hunt! The nostalgic vibe makes you want to linger a little longer. Priced fair, service is fast. If you love books with history and personality, this is a sweet little hidden gem worth discovering inside Pike Place. A nice escape from the Market's buzz just you, the books, and that unmistakable paper and ink smell.

I walked in and didn't expect much, but we were exploring the levels of Pike Place because I didn't realize they had levels upon my last visit. I was also looking for a biscuit spot that was across the street. So we went back and forth, floor by floor and found this gem where we stopped to peruse the books. My husband found some books and bought them. The person working there was nice and helpful. It was clear that he knew his inventory, as my husband asked about a book and he led him to it. The value was good as well. I know that we will definitely be back, next time, I hope to spend a bit more time there. This isn't the most organized place, but if you are willing to look through the books and are open to the surprise find that awaits you, then this is the spot for all of that!

He also steered me into the directions of books that were absolutely hysterical. From "The Gas That We Pass", to "Everybody Poops", to perhaps my all-time favorite of "All My Friends Are Dead." I paid $27 more for the fantastic customer service that I received from the owner much more than the actual contents of the book that I purchased. Certainly one of Pike Place Market's vendor staples that I will absolutely return to on my next visit.

Took me an hour to find Lion heart book store cause it's in one of the levels at Pike place and being such a small and crammed spot with many many stores was very hard to find. I totally will take the blame on my navigation skills but what was disappointing was calling multiple times and no one picked up my call - just for some tips or guidance. Next the owner wasn't in the store, there was this boy who no matter how well or how nicely I tried asking for tips on books or any details around books the only response I got was "unfortunately I don't have any info, you have to look up the books" gosh! That wasn't the help I was expecting and the boy refused to move from his spot or even try helping from the spot he was so comfortably perched on. No matter what, bad bad experience!
