Oh my, did I find a deodorant that I simply fell in love with at Nordstroms! I have been dabbling in different colognes and deodorants... brands I would not normally purchase and I got a brand of deodorant I simply fell in love with that I got here. Terre D'Hermes is the name of the brand of the deodorant I purchased. It's a bit more expensive than what I am used to paying but this made all the more fun and enjoyable trying out something new. The deodorant rolls on so amazingly soft. It is just so silky while applying it. And the fragrance is nice and musky. If a guy just wants a hint of cologne and nothing too strong then just applying this would be all that you would need. Of course this product comes from France... still holding down as being the perfume capital of the world it's no wonder why this deodorant is so amazing. read more

I was offered help by many associates and was sold on a Jo Malone cologne. I had no intention of even making a purchase! Fragrance dept. was amazing and I left with lots of goodies. If you needed to shop at a Nordstrom this would be the one. Has everything and multiple designer boutique stores and lots of inventory. All the staff are very nice, though I was a little saddened as it did not seem too busy and I felt bad for the staff having to stand around last time I was there. I hope the city can somehow figure out how to make the mall a more attractive area to come to lest it dies forever. The men's section could really use a make over. We took an ambitious family trip to Seattle last weekend, and in the chaos of departure, our two-year-old traveled barefoot, and we didn't pack him a single pair of shoes. My husband also left his dress pants--which he'd planned to wear to dinner our first night--hanging in our bedroom. Thankfully, our early evening plans took us right past Nordstrom, and we stopped in to get some pants and shoes. There was a robust children's shoe department, and we found some cool New Balance sneakers for our barefoot boy. His older brother also found shoes that he wanted, and it took some real finesse to deny him while also avoiding a scene. We moved downstairs to the men's department, where the kids did get a little loopy chasing each other around the racks, then wrestling in the dressing area. My husband was able to find what he needed, though, a nice pair of gray slacks that worked better than the suit pants he had planned to bring from home. Service was great in both departments. The guy in men's helped my husband shop while I dealt with the kids, showing him a couple high-end options then bringing him the more reasonable but still very nice pair he settled on, in two different sizes. We paid $10 for expedited tailoring and the pants were hemmed but apparently hard to locate when he went to pick them up a couple hours later. There was some confusion about where they were in the building, and he had to wait around while they figured it out. It all worked out in the end, though. Our son got shoes for the trip, my husband wore pants to dinner, and we brought home a couple of souvenirs from Seattle's flagship Nordstrom. read more

Love this Nordstrom but mostly just for all the great boutiques it has! I was very impressed by the Chanel handbags on the first floor, the Chanel makeup/skincare/beauty selection also on the first floor, and the Chanel shoes on the second floor. All had a far greater assortment than what I am used to at other Chanel boutiques and stores, with the added bonus that the employees were so much more friendly, helpful and responsive (huge shout out to Ryan for his help with the Chanel handbags, Brittany with the Chanel makeup and skincare, and Maxwell with Chanel shoes). The denim and clothing selection however were not as well stocked as I would've expected. No 7 or Hudson jeans and of the brands they did have, the selection was very limited. Other designers also seemed more limited compared to other stores (like Veronica Beard and L'Agence). Over all, pretty average to a little below for regular stuff but 5 stars for the Chanel boutiques! read more

This review is specifically about the designer shoe section. I've given this store about four chances, thinking maybe it was just me -- but this time, every limit of rudeness and disrespect was crossed. I came in to buy a few Chanel and YSL heels for my birthday and was directed to an older man in this section by the manager. From the start, he seemed frustrated and irritated to be helping me. He brought out the wrong shoe in the wrong size, and when I politely asked him to bring what I'd actually requested -- or the closest available size if it was out of stock -- he started yelling at me. This time, I decided not to stay quiet. I told him I no longer wanted the shoe and that I didn't appreciate his tone. His response? "I'm just trying to help you." Meanwhile, the manager who had directed me to him stood there and did absolutely nothing. As someone who loves and regularly buys designer shoes, it's genuinely disappointing that I will never set foot in this store again. They ruined my birthday shopping and my entire day off. If I'm prepared to spend $1,500 on a single pair of shoes, the very least I expect is a baseline of respect. I'll also be looking into how to file a formal complaint, because this felt like more than just bad service -- it felt like I was treated this way because of my race. read more

I am trying to write a review regarding Nordstrom Corporate. I have had an account with Nordstrom and their credit card for years. I have also used auto-pay for years and never had an issue, until TD Bank did some sort of a migration in February. Apparently there was an error and they listed the account as a Savings and it is strictly a Checking. Because of this, my bank refused stating no account listed. TD Bank never followed up and reversed the payment and accused me of "bouncing" a check. I have made multiple attempts to pay this online but TD Bank has LOCKED my account. I also tried to pay via phone and still no luck. This has been the most frustrating situation I have ever encountered. I have been working on this since 3/28/26 and finally gave up. I am just sending in the payment. I am currently considering filing legal action due to inaccurate accusations. I will no longer be shopping at Nordstrom due to their decision to use this terrible bank. I have been a loyal customer since 1992. read more

Nordstroms the quintessential shopping store in Seattle. Been shopping at Nordy's for ages so I'm an expert on the business. After all these years the merchandise has greatly improved at the downtown location. Huge names from Gucci , Prada and Balenciaga a favorite of Kanye Wests. However the custom maid business clothing represents my favorite part of the Nordstrom experience. If spent hours going through swatch's of fabrics picking shirts and suits. All things custom are exceptional for the look of FRANK B! Moving over to the shoe section it's a enormous variety of business and casual offering for my feet. But enough about Franks feet the store I love the most is the Louis Vuitton store on the main floor of the building. Not the largest but plenty of LV treats for Frank B. For LV enthusiasts it's the only Louis Vuitton in Seattle. And last but not least should I feel the need for nourishment the Café Nordstrom is where I dine! A quality meal is a must before you shop! The last 3 pair of earrings I have bought and expensive were way smaller than listed. Very dishonest. I have to ship back and wait 1 month to get a refund. The last pair I bought they listed the earrings as 15mm. They were 9mm. Kids earrings. I called the manufacter and they don't even make them in 15mm only 9mm. Nordstroms is very dishonest. Better way to make money than ripping off your customers. 1 time maybe but 3 times they misrepresented the size. Wastes my time. Don't buy jewelry there especially earrings. Not honest about the discriptions. Going to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Comission. Sick of it. Your response is weak. Stop lying about descriptions. Some Great Clothing Deals & Shoe Selections! SITREP Today was a great day to be at Downtown Seattle Nordstroms! THE SETUP Every time I head up to Seattle, it is always a treat to go shopping with my of my Pacific Northwest besties Jenner G. But actually in this case, Jenner couldn't wait til I got home to check in with my mother first: she stated she was just gonna pick me up at the airport @ 7:30am, and THEN we could go shopping! [Well, actually, we had to make a sidetrip to the Starbucks Roastery on Capitol Hill because first - and visit our sweet friend Ali, one of the shift managers - because it was just too dam early to go shopping anywhere at that time. But once 10am came rolling around, we were off to Pacific Center!] DRESSES GALORE! It was clear that the Autumn Fashion Season was in full swing inside the Women's section and Jenner had a most excellent time trying on some of the beautiful dresses. However, some of her personality really came through with her purchases of a black leather jacket and black leather pants that did great work at making her look like a Dominatrix. SHOES! All sorts of shoes.... Row upon row upon row of shoes. My gawds. ALL kinds. We got away with a pair of boots. But there was a hideous pair of Orange Sneakers that I could NOT convince her to get (haha). But props to the young guy who helped Jenner sorts through all the pairs we looked at (no less than 10 pair). He was the epitome of customer service. SKYWAY! What I love about the Pacific Center is how it *connects* to other stores on OTHER blocks by use of their beautiful 4th Level Skyway-Walkways. And the Skyway to Nordstroms was no different. MOLLY MOON'S ICE CREAM! And waiting for me at the Nordstrom's side of the 4th Level Skyway was Molly Moon's Ice Cream Vending Maching! YOU BET I took advantage of this little piece of Mana from Heaven and I got one of the $5 cups (Chocolate Melt flavor) to help keep me busy while Jenner was trying on some shoes. Nordstrom Seattle is literally the nicest department store I've ever seen. It's reminiscent of the days where service and top notch selection were the norm and shopping was more like an event than a chore. It has a vibe similar to what I'd experienced visiting Saks in Manhattan or maybe Macy's 40 years ago before it started to suck. This location surpasses Neiman's and maybe even Bergdorf Goodman. The selection is endless featuring brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Chanel. And in days where finding someone to help you can be next to impossible, Nordstrom is chock full of exceptional people who are more than happy to assist. It also makes me a little sad because my local Nordstrom more closely resembles a Macy's than their flagship Seattle location. I'm not sure why their satellite locations have fallen so far but truly they have. Perhaps it's for this reason why I was so completely blown away. If it wasn't the better part of 3000 miles or a 6 hour plane ride away, this would be my go to location for whatever they sell that I'm in the market to buy. And yeah, I know I can shop online for whatever but it's not the same. Norstrom Seattle makes me long for a simpler but more elegant time where service and selection overshadowed deep discount racks. There's something very Mrs. Maisel-ish about it which makes it a go to whenever i'm in the area. read more

We bought an item on Nordstrom.com. Their delivery service does not allow delivery instructions (they use a subpar delivery service called OnTrack not FedEx, UPS or USPS). With other online retailers we always note that packages be placed in a secure area away from our door so they are not left in the open for theft. The package is on video being stolen from our front door where it was put by Nordstrom's local delivery company. My friend had an Amazon package stolen and they shipped a replacement item same day with no questions asked. I've had to contact Nordstrom three times and they still can't give me anything but an automated email a day after I talk to the help call center. Apparently they carry no shipping insurance at all. read more

Nordstrom corporate office happens to be located in Seattle, yielding this flagship department store filled with small luxury brand boutiques (Chanel, Celine, Christian Dior, etc.) that are not normally available within the average Nordstrom store. The layout of of this location is beautiful, and spaced out perfectly. It's very clean, well lit, organized, staffed, family, and dog friendly. I really enjoy Creed fragrances, and prefer to go in person prior to purchase to ensure the notes are ideal. Creed Ambassador Anthony yielded superb customer service, he truly understands the brand and how to recommend proper pairing. Matthew was another Creed Ambassador whom was also very courteous, and yielded great service as well. If you're in the market for a fragrance that lasts and is noticeable for all the right reasons definitely visit this Nordstrom location and ask for Anthony!! read more

Loved the opportunity to whole at the signature store. I haven't been to a Nordstrom in about 8 years, and this one is obviously beautiful. Has all the high end brands you'd expect. The iconic flagship store was a must-do when I visited family in Seattle this weekend. It's located in the downtown area. For parking, you might be able to find street parking but usually it's easier to find a lot that you can park in and walk to the store. I went with the lot which was near The North Face for $10 all day on the weekend. (From there, Nordstrom's is a block from the lot - turn left past The North Face and walk until you reach the next crosswalk - you'll see the window displays for Nordstrom's.) This location is a multi-floor one with a basement/lower level for men's apparel, accessories/makeup/shoes on the ground level, designer clothing on second floor, women's and teen clothing on third, and workout, home, and infant items on the fourth floor. The spa is on the fifth floor, which is only accessible via elevator. Staff were all helpful and friendly. I did look at some items in a collection with Nordstrom's X Off-White and a pair of pants in Chanel, but didn't walk away with anything that day. There is something for everyone in this location, which is great. The men's section was very well stocked, which is a nice contrast where some of the smaller locations have a more curated selection in store and is devoted to more women's apparel. The store does offer parking validation, but it is for $1 off parking. I don't think the lot we parked in accepted the validation, but given that we were in a structure that was $10 all day, that was a decent price compared to other lots. read more

Such a bummer because this place just isn't the same as it used to be. In the past you used to have people eager to work with you, give their input and help out in whatever way they can; Nordstrom was famous for this. These days, it's impossible ever to get help here. I just see a lot of standing/walking around and organizing clothes. Here is an example of an unhelpful customer experience which is similar to most times I come here. I walk into the Gucci section (I realize Gucci runs itself here, but same experience throughout the store). I say, "Hi" to the worker who is looking down and texting on his phone next to the register. I walk over to the ties because I need one for dinner that night. The guy is still texting on his phone, and a few minutes later, he yells across to me, "You know you can pull that drawer out if you'd like." I appreciated him letting me know, but just the yelling across the room comes across kind of lazy. There was no one else in the shop area. So I pull the drawer out and I can't decide between two ties. I walk over to the front where he's still texting and I ask him which one he likes better. He sits there is thinking, and kind of just says something like, "Yeah, I mean... they're nice." I clarify that I'm looking for his help on deciding which one to get, but maybe he doesn't get asked this a lot? Usually sales people have some kind of input. Anyway, so he didn't have an opinion on choosing one, so I just picked one and bought it. Then when I was paying, he was asking where I was going, what I was doing with the tie, and what restaurant. I appreciated it, but I would've appreciated if he asked me that while I was looking for the ties and helped me shop for one. I don't know if it's because I was paying at that point and he knew I was a serious customer or maybe he had a really important text that he had to focus on? Who knows, but at that point it was kind of late. I made my decision and I'm running late for my dinner. Can I just pay and go? Why are you talking to me now? Anyway, if it was a one time thing, I wouldn't even mention it, but this is a regular experience for me at the downtown location. So much so, that I felt compelled to write a review on here. I suggest you do your shopping over at the Bravern or Bellevue Square instead. Not to mention the selection at this store is really minimal compared to shops in Bellevue. I give it 2/5 though because the cafes and restaurants are pretty good. read more
