The atmosphere at the Evereve in University Village was incredibly uncomfortable during my visit on Saturday mid afternoon. It was clear that there was significant tension among the staff members. No one appeared happy and the employees seemed to be on edge. This lack of harmony directly impacted the service. The stylist would disappear for long periods of time. She forgot what I was looking for and what she was getting for me. The lack of communication was so poor that a shirt I wanted to buy was actually given to another customer while I was still in the fitting room. The styling assistance was truly insulting. I told the stylist that I wear a size 26 or 27 in bottoms and a small in tops. I was specifically looking for professional work clothes. Instead, the stylist ignored my requests and brought me casual sweatshirts in sizes large and extra large. She repeatedly brought me pants and jeans in a size 30 and insisted that I was larger than I am. When I finally tried on a pair of size 26 Paige jeans that fit perfectly, she told me she was surprised that they actually fit. This experience felt like a form of body shaming and gaslighting. A customer should never be treated this way. read more

I have seen this store a few times here and there and browsed a bunch of times but never bought anything from here. The style is so not me, unfortunately. But they do have some good quality clothing. I went in to buy some jeans but unfortunately, they were out of my size in most varieties ‍. Found a good pair from their sale rack though. I am not sure if I would come back here but might pop in from time to time. read more

Evereve refused to return a very expensive pair of jeans because it was past their 30 day policy. Not even for in-store credit I can't get behind companies that don't stand behind their product. read more

Just visited today. No one greeted me. No one asked if I needed a room to try on the clothing I was holding. I had to ask for a fitting room. I almost left the clothing that fit me because of this experience. Feels like you're walking into an exclusive sorority, and the employees just ignore you if they don't know you by first name. I guess I wasn't part of "that" group. read more

My wife is 4'10" and likes your store. However, it is more than ironic that the smallest sizes are displayed in the highest places. This would seem to violate both common sense and attempts to be inclusive and diverse. It is a real inconvenience for her. She received an explanation that the less commonly demanded sizes are in the less accessible places. That makes sense for pure merchandising, but it is time to recognize the rights of the petite! You can do better. read more

I don't think I looked like their regular clientele so when I got to the counter I was asked if I was returning something. Weird. Then she asked for my phone number and when I told Dani L. I wasn't in the system I apparently was profiled even more. After it got more awkward when I didn't want to give her my number and then when my daughter and I left (after paid!) Dani ran after us to the door, no I didn't steal anything. I'm an Asian mom that doesn't like to dress up. Sorry, I don't look the part. And I like to spend $150 to get profiled. Horrible day at UVillage. Not going here again. read more

Cute mid price point clothes for women ages teen through early 40s. Conveniently located near the Molly Moon ice cream shop and the health clinic, across from Chipotle and the new Mr. West bar and restaurant, this place is a nice shop to stop by when you're in the area. It's best parking will be found in the garage above Din Tai Fung diagonally across from Amazon Books. They have lots of casual clothes that can be dressed up or down, for work or for after work as well. The people who work here have always been friendly without being too invasive and don't make you feel pressured to buy. With all of the changes to this side of U Village I'm glad Evereve is still holding on! read more

Coming from Minneapolis where Hot Mama has been creating buzz for years, it's super exciting to have a location in Seattle! I have noticed that those that are unfamiliar would comment and assume that it was a maternity store, but it's actually a super cute fashion boutique that is Mom-centric. They have animal crackers, coloring books, toys, and other goodies to keep little ones busy while mom shops. The gals that work there are super engaging, inviting, and awesome too. They are stylists so they will outfit you in a seasonal update quicker than you can peel those skinny jeans off! I'm a doggy mom. That counts right? Paige, AG, Seven, Splendid, Free People, Prairie Underground and lots of more those goodie brands that I love to get my hands on. Hot Mama is going to make me a broke mama....but at least I'll be HOT! read more

A great new addition to U Village! I stumbled upon this store and the cute outfits in the window lured me in. While this store is geared towards cute, comfortable and practical clothes for the busy mom, I think many of their things could work for women in their 30's and 40's without kids. They have a weekend/casual wear section as well as a a dressy/work side. Their stylists were all wonderful and very helpful without being annoying. I went into the fitting room with a few things I had picked out, and while I was trying them on, she brought back a few other things for me to try and helped me mix and match the outfits to maximize the pieces. Not only that, she was honest and pointed out what worked (and what didn't) for my body type. I ended up with many cute pieces I would never have though of putting together or trying on, but I am so glad she suggest them. I'm thrilled to have found a store with so many different brands/styles in one spot. It's now my one stop shop! read more

I went in with low confidence, jeans that didn't fit right, and an overwhelming sense of frustration about being 40 and not knowing how to look my age AND be stylish. Three hours later, I left with a few key staples for a capsule wardrobe, a major boost in self-confidence, and a much better sense of how I can look AND feel good at 40. Katherine (the manager) and Jess were amazing. I truly cannot say enough about how professional, kind, supportive, encouraging, and helpful they both were. I felt attended to, they showed me tricks about how to style different pieces, and never once rushed me or pressured me. We are complete Evereve converts! Catherine, Lane and the team at UVillage Evereve is absolutely FANTASTIC! My daughter and I shopped two times, once for her and then came back again for me. They were so darling and positive that it was probably the best shopping experience we have ever had. I love that they don't sell on commission and that they help you with an entire look. I have placed multiple orders online with Evereve and NEVER been disappointed! The choice of clothing online is amazing, quality is great and the customer service cannot be beat. Long story short, I purchased some vegan leather leggings from Evereve, they were not the style I was looking for, returned them, they refunded my money promptly. I ordered the pair I wanted from Amazon, which ended up with a small hole in the seam, I had forgotten I ordered them from Amazon, shipped the return back to Evereve...OOPS! Sophie was so great!!! She found my leggings, put in extra effort to, and mailed them back to me. Nordstroms customer service online!!! I will continue to shop here. This is one of the hippest stores I have run across in the entire world - NY, London, SF, Hong Kong - you name it. Katherine, the store manager, is a real gem and a pleasure to work with. Thankfully, they no longer just focus on "the babby mamas" and include the great wide world of the rest of the population that has a large disposable income to spend on fashion - what a pleasure, indeed..... They have a wide range of fashions, suitable to most figure types, and I, honestly, think this is the best woman's boutique I've ever come across in my lifetime. Who "would have thunk it" - in my childhood backyard of University Village (uhhh....not what it *used* to be - but *whatever*) ....certainly, not I!!! I first found this store in Minnesota and when I found out they were opening at UVillage I was ecstatic. This store focuses on cute clothing that is easy to wear targeted at moms, however I shopped there before being a mom. One stand out to this store is their customer service, they are great at pulling options for you to try, listen to your needs and giving helpful opinions. It's like having a person shopper. I have been pushed out of my comfort zone thanks to the ladies that work there. Also for those that are moms, they have toys, coloring books and animal crackers. read more

My dad and I had brought my mom here today for mothers day so she can buy some new clothes for her wardrobe. We were very excited because she had just got into a new kind of style, more "mommy" like clothing. When we entered the store, we were searching for a specific blazer. and after minutes of searching, we left. Reason why was because their customer service was BEYOND terrible. Right when we entered, the two ladies working did not acknowledge our arrival, they only stared. A couple women came in after us and these ladies rushed to help them.
