Waited in line for 30 mins because we drove 20+ miles to get here, 15-20 mins before closing we were second in line to go in and this girl comes out and says we won't be able to go in. My daughter knew exactly the item she wanted yet they couldn't care less. I sent an email to the company that they should rethink their in store customer experience as this was one of the worst I've seen. read more

I wanted to exchange an online purchase due to their ridiculous sizing and return policy of customer paying shipping. The employees were bullies. They did not like my mask. They followed me around the store harassing me and threatening to call security as if I were a thief, wanting me to put on the blue mask which I cannot wear. I AM NOT SICK. This is tyranny. I will never buy anything from this company again. read more

This store has very cute clothes but the customer service is terrible!! The employees are completely unaware of their customers. They are rude, apathetic, and unhelpful. No greeting and no "thanks for coming in" or "have a great day." The store's atmosphere is unwelcoming at best and it almost feels like they don't want people to come in at all. When I bought a tank top, the price tag said $12 but they charged me $18. Had to go back into the store to get that settled. They didn't apologize or anything. I've been a frequent shopper and buyer at this store but with the terrible service, no return policy (only exchange or store credit within 14 days!!), and the brand only making clothes for one small size I rather spend my money elsewhere. read more

Went w my daughter to exchange an item she purchased online. Super disappointed to find they will only give store credit, rather than refund. The item was new, in their own packaging. Made us stuck buying something else there though my daughter wanted to shop elsewhere. Really REALLY bothered by the one size aspect of their clothing. One of my daughter's best friends can't shop there since she is a tall stockier body type. What a horrible feeling for teen age girls who are already struggling with so many issues growing up. Why why why would a merchant do this? I told my daughter I would rather we not shop at this store any longer. Plenty of other places w cute clothes that support all shapes and sizes. read more

I have never written a bad review of a business until now but I have also never experienced such poor customer service until coming to this store. My first few times in, I resolved to give it the benefit of the doubt because I understand that everyone has off-days and as someone who has worked in customer service I know how emotionally demanding it can be. After visiting this shop a handful of times and every time, without fail, receiving blatant disrespect from the employees, I no longer come here. From glares and whispers when I'd walk through the door, to being pushed and told to "move out of the way" by an employee when I was waiting in line for the fitting room, to getting countless eyes rolled at me whenever I had a question or would try to make friendly conversation with whoever was working the cash register. The atmosphere is far from welcoming and on several occasions I've actually ditched the clothes I'd tried on and was waiting in line to purchase because I was so overcome with frustration for how I was being treated. Unless you are steadfast on not wanting to pay for shipping, I'd suggest ordering online rather than going to this location because it's honestly not worth the experience that is eerily reminiscent of catty high school interactions. read more

As all the other reviewers say...don't go here. Little 15 year old girls are supposed to run the store and are spoiled SNOBS. Will stare at you throughout the store and not say one word, even when you go checkout...I literally had to say " can I pay for these or what". The manager Ashley is super rude. The store is always messy. They close early and sit on their phones. They only speak to their friends who don't work there and who aren't supposed to be behind the registers. Worst customer service and hires ever - makes brandy Melville look so bad read more

Be so fr rn. I am a VERY tall girl, and I never can fit in any of these close. Who sells clothes with one size? Who ever thought that was a good idea. Also there is this one worker here who talks to you like a baby, I can't bro. read more

Place is very small and crowded. Very hard to shop for a 12 year old girl. All the clothes are one size small and extremely cheap quality. The girls that work there are just awful, teenager squeezed into too tight clothes must make them mean and indifferent. I did buy some things but I won't be back. read more

I absolutely love Brandy's clothes, but this stores employees are unprofessional, rude, and frankly unwelcoming. When I was checking out the girls were only talking to one another and completely ignoring any of their customers. It took me almost five minutes to actually PAY because the employees kept laughing due to a girl spitting out her frozen yogurt while checking out and spilling it on the bills. I have disregarded the awful customer service because the clothing is worth it, that's why I give Brandy Melville, University Village 3 stars. read more

I kinda like it I mean it's one size only but the girls there are nice, they also spent a lot of time helping my deaf sister find what she wanted. Probably one of my favorite places to shop. My reviews are very short, this is long for me lol. So you're welcome. read more

Ive only been into this brandy a few times before and the previous experiences were better but this last trip there was not good. I stood right outside the door because I figured they were at capacity (seeing that the store is small and there were at least 10 people in there). As I peeked my head in to see, the worker just stared at me weirdly so I went in and she didn't say hi she simply walked past me and continued hanging things up. I went to another worker asking for a potential jacket color they may have and she was extremely rude sizing me up and down and then responded with, "they're over on that stool but, they're a size S/M... just so you know". She said it in a tone that was very judgmental and as if I should just know the size because it wouldn't fit. I just left the store afterward, very unhappy experience. read more

i love brandy's clothes so that's why i make the 2 hour drive to this store since it's the closest brandy to me. but the employees are soooo rude. they don't acknowledge you at all. here's how my interaction went at the register: me: *walks up to register and sets clothes down on counter* employee: *still talking to coworkers/friends about underage drinking and whatnot for about a minute more* "ok there's someone just a second" still hasn't even looked at me or said anything to me. employee: *starts ringing in my stuff not looking at me or saying anything* employee: *finishes scanning everything* and then FINALLY SHE SPEAKS TO ME but she says "are you ready? :/" GIRL READY FOR WHAT LMAO YOU DIDNT EVEN TELL ME THE TOTAL me: "yeah :)" *sticks card in and pays* employee: *bags my stuff up and hands it to me without saying anything or looking at me and continues to talk to her friends* yeah these girls are snobby rich teens who don't know anything about customer service and just work there for the discount or whatever tf they get. greet your customers as they walk in. ask them if they need help finding anything. when they come up to the register LOOK AT THEM ITS THE BARE MINIMUM. and ask them if they found everything alright. ask how they are doing, literally anything just make small talk like it's really not that hard to be a nice person. THANK THEM FOR COMING IN!! like oh my god it's literally the basics of customer service it's not hard at all. idk anyone who wouldn't at least thank the customer or say have a nice day or ANYTHING. it's pretty pathetic i'd be embarrassed if i saw someone i knew acting like that like it's so bad... these kids need to get some sticks pulled out of their a****. *edit: just checked my receipt and cashier was named clara. clara i do not like u.* read more

No service...Ignored couldn't get Person from behind the desk. It was my daughter's birthday and wanted her to be treated a bit better. Disappointed read more

Refund policy is horrible. No refund on purchases via online at their store even if clothes don't fit and they are brand new with tags. Exchange is ok within 2 weeks. read more

Absolutely loved this place. I was shopping for my younger daughter and the sweetest sales clerk ever helped me out! Her name was Eva, she was so thoughtful, so caring and had my interests as her priority. I really was convinced for quite some time this new generation of kiddos were born with holes in there head....... but not this kid! She was passionate, polite and quite the cutie;) next time you go to brandy, ask for Eva. She will help you out and make your day! read more

There is not much variety. Online shipping and returning policy is horrible. You have to pay for your return shipping. I paid $25 for a return label for $20 jeans. If you are returning at any of their store, they will only give you a store credit. read more

I have never had the need to write a horrible review, but my experience at this store was just the worst. When I say horrible, I am talking about the staff! They were so unprofessional. All the girls were too busy talking to each other about bumbershoot tickets or some concert without acknowledging if any customers needed assistance. One of the girls were talking so loud and I even heard her say the F word, like really? Super unprofessional while you're working. In terms of the fits, the store was not even that busy and I had to wait like 5 minutes until someone was willing to help me get into a room. Lastly, the thing that pissed me the most off was when I was about to check out and I overheard one of the associates being rude to her coworker. The girl that was being rude was wearing a light grey hoodie and white top with medium brown hair. Her coworker was a red headed girl and she was processing some clothes at the cash wrap and the girl in the hoodie goes, 'How do you not know how to do this? Did they not train you??!' ARE YOU KIDDING ME, that really ticked me off. How are you going to say that to your coworker AND in front of customers??? I wish I got that girl's name but I was so over being at that store. The only helpful associate was actually THAT red headed girl. She was the one that started me a fitting room and checked me out at the wrap. She was nice and I heard her greet people coming in. She's the only reason I gave this store a 2-star and not a 1-star. Brandy Melville U Village team, get it together. I probably will never come back. read more

It's easy for me to say I will not be returning to this store. I recently went in to the U village location and was not greeted by any one; even though I made eye contact with the girl at the register the moment I walked in. My daughter and I continued to shop around but I couldn't help but notice all the employees standing behind the register looking at their phones (a blonde girl and another girl with dark hair). Once we were ready to purchase, the blonde girl put her phone down and started to ring us up. She was friendly at first but then slowly faded. She seemed really out of it and her eyes were extremely dreary and red, which could be from anything but I must admit it's not a good look for someone working in a young girls store. She finished ringing us up and my daughter asked to take one last look at the jewelry before we left & this is when I was astonished at what I heard. The same two employees were standing RIGHT next to us and they started exchanging stories about drinking and being hungover at work. They said this in front of my nine year old daughter who looks up to the girls that work in this store. I'm astonished and mortified that these girls are allowed to speak like this not only in front of customers but at work in general. Watch your mouth in front of children and learn how to do your job properly. The sales associate name on the receipt was Hailey. read more

**NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE** I stopped shopping here for a while because I felt unwelcome. Like two years. However, things got a little better. Today I was there shopping with my friend and 1) the price for an item was marked incorrectly AND instead of honoring the price on the tag, the cashier said "OH that's actually 32" before I could even finish my question about the item...2) she didn't even bother folding the clothes when placing in the bag. SHE WRINKLED THE CLOTHES AND SHOVED THEM IN THE BAG. I have many years of experience working in retail and my experience at Brandy shows just how little they care about their customers...unless you're white. These are only a few reasons as to why this is a bad place to shop at. I'll probably go back to shopping at pacsun and Nordstrom for Brandy items. DONT GO HERE IF YOURE LOOKING TO BE TREATED WELL. read more

1 stars is way too many stars for Brandy Melville. Have you ever wanted to be glared at by stuck up white girls? If so, this is the store for you. I am certain that the recruiting process for this store includes questions like "in what unique ways can you be rude as fuck to customers?" Do you want people to pretend you aren't there, and only speak to you is the most dismissive ways possible? Then you will love this store. If you are a feminist and you shop at and like this store then you aren't a feminist you are trash. They may not say one size fits all anymore but the whole one size thing is still humiliating for any girl who wears pants larger than size 2 pants. Their prices also blow. I know it says one star, but this fucking place gets 0 stars read more

Was there with my daughter last week, as others have said, the employees seemed very uncaring and the business felt like it was a highschool clique. After my daughter made a purchase, there was no "thank you" or "have a nice day". The staff could definitely benefit from some basic customer service training. It's a clothing shop for teen girls after all, not a priceless art gallery. Will order online in the future. read more

PLEEEEASE Brandy Melville Seattle read this. Please take time to train your employees to WORK with customers and avoid being condescending toward both your target market and the parents that shop for them. Acknowledge customers, say thank you and get the chip off of your shoulders. Customers help pay for employees to be there. I think this location must still work to realize this. We visited another in Santa Monica and had no qualms/a positive experience. We will shop online if in Seattle yet hope for some positive chan read more

Promoting eating disorders, ONESIZE at a time! Disgusting! This store carries clothing that comes in one size, which is extremely small. My daughter usually wears a size 25 in jeans and the pants at this store were snug on her. This sends a horrible message to young women! read more

The store is nice but customer service is a joke. I went into the store when it was not crowded. The sale associates saw me then looked away. Busy, as expected. The employees were pleasant and obviously did the best they could considering the amount of people in the store. The selection is great, it feels like a boutique with the amount of product in the store... the whole point is the simplicity of the clothing which you would know if you shopped online or knew the brand- if you're expecting a department store with 50 colors in every style and size and "something for everyone" then go to Nordstrom or Walmart. This store won't be for everyone, and that's ok. read more

Clothes are cheap! I love them! They fit perfectly, A little baggy tho. A very Awesome store!

The workers gossiped to each other the whole time i shopped. They were very snarky and unhelpful as well as really immature. Several customers walked in the store and weren't greeted because the workers were all too busy talking really loudly about their other coworkers. Additionally when i was getting checked out the checker gave me attitude. All of the workers look and act like they're in a high school clique. Very unprofessional staff. read more

The store is too small especially considering the crowds and the amount of merchandise they have in there, However they do their best to be organized. As other reviewers mentioned, the staff is kind of rude, and I've only really had one staff member talk to me or greet me when I came in. It's nice to finally have a Brandy Melville store in Seattle, but it could be better. Update: Turns out the location is a test location, so they will hopefully be getting a bigger location eventually, and I did have better luck with the employees. Still keeping it at 3 stars though. read more
