Great service a knowledge. And very honest .. Wish they were open late night But we are on seattle and that asking for a lot lol read more

Seems like it's been ages since I wrote a review for an adult novelty shop. Wild At Heart was a place I had on my list for a long time. Good thing I was in the neighborhood (Ballard) to finally pay a vist. Another real draw to me bookmarking the place was the name reminds me of the David Lynch film which I adore. Selection here is good. The "naughty " attire is more geared for the ladies but plenty of other inventory that would be quite suitable for straight or gay couples. Going off of the video section that covers those orientations pretty well also. Lots of whips and toys available as well as fetish gimp and pup masks too. Nice selection of lotions and such too. Wild At Heart was nice and clean inside and didn't give off a skeezy vibe at all like some places. The staff member at the counter was friendly and informative with any questions we had. read more

Knowledgeable and professional staff. Kind of nice to be able to ask real questions about real products.

veryfriendly, helpful employees, huge selection. they were attentive and kind and didn't make me feel awkward or weird at all like i kind of worried a place like this would be. instead they were very welcoming. read more

Me and my partner came into this store expecting to be greeted and met with positive attitudes. Instead the workers did not speak a word or ask for help with our services until we went up to the counter. Upon asking our questions about services, the workers were very negative and had a rude attitude. We asked about handcuffs and were told "Yeah. They are all on the back wall." which was fine, until we asked about fuzzy ones, which had been sold out on the wall. The worker with the long curly hair told us we do have fuzzy hand cuffs, but they were really expensive, insinuating we did not have enough money to pay for the item we asked about. Furthermore, when asked about specific vibrators, the worker with the straight long hair and glasses only pointed us to the direction and walked away. After the money we spent and the service we encountered, we will gladly say we would not recommend this shop to anyone. This interaction took place around 7:00 pm February 19th read more

A store by women, for everyone! I have shopped here for years, and they strongly support your local kink/sex artisans. You won't find a better place for all kinds of inclusivity, across the spectrum. Including body positivity! Looking for hawt lingerie in sizes above 6? Look no further! Clean, bright, sexy, and they stock at least one of darn near everything. Please patronize this locally owned amazing sex shop! read more

Great Store, lots of variety of items. Was very disappointed to find this store only carried plus size jockstraps for men at the time i went. read more

This is a great place for shopping for the exotic. If you are looking for some kinky fun or crazy BDSM toy or even a good gift for a bachelor/bachelorette party WAH has some great stuff. Prices are a little up there compared to what you can get online but some things you have to purchase in a store. Great selection of toys and lots of fun things! read more

As a gentleman who just walks in, nay did I feel unwelcomed. I didn't catch her name but the dark-haired with neat glasses was very kind, professional and offered me copious samplings of the recommended lubes I was checking out - dang, my upper hand sure was ready for some. Did I mention her glasses? :D Very well-rounded and resourceful neighborhood adult shop! Just like a mature tree with a root ball that reaches every which way. Rec! read more

It's a very nice, clean store with a helpful staff and a great selection of lubes, fetish accoutrements and lots of cool undies for the female clientele, but I'm a guy who likes guy undies... there's just not much selection for men, but that's pretty much how Seattle is, there are a couple of shops in Cap Hill with a big selection, but I live in Ballard and I'm a little lazy. Also, their selection of c*ckrings and b@llstretchers is very limited. Their OxBalls items are double the price you'll find on ebay or at Doghouse Leather. Word to the wise, buy guy things elsewhere. Still, the things they do offer definitely have their niche, I just don't find much for my own personal kinks on this side of town. read more

Great sex-positive shop. Good selection of lingerie at moderate prices. Not high-end lingerie - go shop in a specialty store in Fremont for that. Video selection could be more feminist-friendly, along the lines of Erika Lust's productions. Selection of lubricants, toys, ropes, and more seems well-stocked. Welcome to the neighborhood! read more

This little shop is a great place to shop for goodies. The staff are always so supportive, friendly and informative. The prices can be more expensive than the chain adult stores but since it's a small shop and we want to support them, we don't mind the $2-8 more for an item. Highly recommend stopping in. read more

This store is really a hidden gem tucked away on the outskirts of Seattle. It really doesn't look like much from the outside but, once you walk through the doors you'll discover a utopia of fun and sexy products and clothing. They something for everyone. They have a fantastic assortment of leather goods from collars to harnesses, and even a set of leather wings. I was thoroughly impressed and I don't impress easily. I actually have managed a couple of sex shops out off the area and found this one to be quite engaging. I didn't catch the salesperson's name at the counter but they were freaking delightful. I went in with my daughter and she was so impressed that she asked for a job application. All and all I will definitely be going back to wild at heart (this time I'll give myself fore the ten minutes to take it all in. read more

My partner and I come here often. We love the double sided dongs. The lubes don't affect my allergies and the service is always great. I just wish they had a private arcade/movie room. They have a great selection of teen boy porn too. Definitely coming back for more fist toys. read more

This store is the most bad ass little sex shop I've ever ventured into! The prices are reasonable and actually make sense on things, you ever go to a shop and you stare at a sex toy and deeply debate if the price is worth the outcome? Haha. This place makes it affordable to have quality toys, lubes and other awesome little yummy goodies! Super glad we found this spot! read more

MEEEEEE OOOOOWWWWWWWW! Um, yes, I would like some help lacing this (surprisingly affordable) corset, and the stockings do go so nicely, let's add those too. And could you show me one more time how that thing turns on and off? Ooooh, yes, I can see how that would feel very nice. Fishbowls full of any kind of condom you could ever need? Well, yes, thank you, I'll take a dozen. Damn, girl, this place is amazing and full of naughty accessories for my naughty bits and things they like to do. I'll be a regular in no time. read more

First off, the location is great with available parking. It does not have a skeevy feel at all in comparison to other adult stores. The ladies that work here are all really nice and knowledgeable. They offer help when you come in and are available if you have questions but they don't hound you like some stores the second you walk in. They have a good selection of vibrators that you can "test" to make sure they are strong enough. Which really, it is fun just to come by and do the testing. Look for the veiny purple one if you do. It's funny and it wiggles. My boyfriend and I have been a few times and on his last trip Thursday night he bought me a beautiful leather and red satin collar. It is made by local designer, Scott Paul Designs. Friday morning we noticed the satin had pulled away from the leather somewhat but it was not something we could fix. Being anxious to wear my new collar again we decided to drop by the store Friday night to see if we could perhaps get a replacement. The lady at the store was more than accomodating. She actually called Scott Paul and he brought a new collar to the store. Amazing customer service. Plus we got to meet the artist and he is a super nice guy. Needless to say, we will be back. I have been to all the other stores in Seattle. If you really want service, comfortable browsing, selection and quality this is the only store you need to bother visiting. Especially if you are a woman ;-) read more

Welcome to your local BDSM store everybody!! It has everything a "normal" sex shop would have (lubes, vibrators, dildos, butt plugs, porn, lingerie...) but the real interesting stuff starts where the bondage gear is! The paddles, collars, and leather is mostly locally sourced and high quality!! Seriously, I'm one iota above vanilla but this place and the lovely owners completely put me at my ease! Somehow talking about clit clamps with these ladies is not only at bearable embarrassment level, but fun!! Wild at Heart has something for every kink level including bondage starter kits, or spooled rope that they sell by the foot for the experienced folks. I appreciate the great customer service and advice, but also the fact that I was left alone to shop by myself when I didn't have any questions. read more

Sorry to my facebook friends or anyone who knows me in person and ends up reading this, but this place really was great and deserves a great review. Cover up your ears for what I'm about to say or please excuse yourself from this post! My husband and I have a month old baby that has been at Children's hospital since his extremely painful birth so we went exploring for different options to be intimate. The staff there were so helpful and talkative. There were a lot of products I was interested in and definitely considered, but reflected on our budget and put them back. I'm assuming it was the owner that talked to us. She asked if we were local, and after explaining our situation, she went back to the shelf and handed me the stuff I couldn't afford. So rare these days to see someone that is willing to show kindness to a stranger. She kissed my cheek twice and hugged me while I cried. Such a moving experience, and after the 3 of us go home as a family, I will still make the 2 hour drive down there because they are just absolutely wonderful people. Such a small gesture yet I still tear up thinking about it. read more

Sometimes you just need to go to an adult toy store. Babeland used to be my go to but now that I live north of Seattle it is just a bit too out of the way. Wild at Heart is still a bit of a drive but they have a parking lot and that alone makes it worth going to them over capital hill. This place has a really awesome selection of toys, movies, books and more. I like that they carry several lines of bdsm items made by local artisans which are both beautiful and really unique. Oh they even have these wooden shackles: wrist cuffs, foot cuffs, neck & wrist cuffs, etc. that you can have made to order to the measurements you need. Totally worth it if you are looking for unique bdsm supplies. Plus the staff has always been welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly without being pushy. Highly recommend coming to check this place out! read more

Quality is the key word for this store. QUALITY. Most of the shops I've been to have a ton of cheesy bachelorette party supplies, lots of videos, and not much...ahem...functional merchandise. This store was the opposite -- tiny section of party supplies, a corner of videos, and the rest is chalk full of high quality usin' gear. They have stuff that I never would have imagined existed. The ladies who work there are all very helpful and nice to talk to if you need advice or recommendations. read more

Living in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, I discovered Wild At Heart a number of years ago, and have been delighted to both shop - and browse - often at their wonderful store! The owners and the staff are all lovely and helpful, while not being intrusive or overbearing like some other sex toy shops. One of their best assets - the store is bright and light and spacious, even though they've got a TON of merchandise. It's a really comfortable shopping experience. They have the latest and greatest sex toys and have items that will make both newbies and experienced shoppers happy. And they have a wide variety of locally-made products - and I'm all for small businesses that support other small businesses! Yay for that! I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that the Wild at Heart employees are also really knowledgeable and empathetic - I've recently gone through breast cancer treatments, and they've helped me get to know new product lines, especially with their wide variety of lubes. I've considered Wild at Heart a huge part of my post-chemo/post-radiation treatment plan! And we're so lucky they're local! I highly recommend you make a visit to Wild at Heart soon! Even if it's just to browse! I'm betting you'll find something you like (and or need!!) in your price range! Happy shopping! read more

I first heard of Wild At Heart via The Stranger. They were advertising what they called "Sunday School" which were classes on everything from BDSM, to seduction, to sexy yoga. I attended a few and while I fell in love with the classes I fell even more in love with the store and the two awesome lady owners. I met Lisa (a co-owner) and she is the nicest most happy lady I have known. When you first meet her it seems as if you've known her forever. She makes you feel incredibly comfortable and is knowledgeable on all sorts of sex paraphernalia. The store itself is amazing. It has a very sensual yet inviting feel. There are multiple sections for clothing, porn (excellent selection and cheap to rent!), toys (anal plugs, vibrators, nipple clamps, anyone?), books (we all could use a little erotica), and BDSM essentials (many done by local artists). Pricing is reasonable and if they happen to not have what you are looking for they are more than happy to do special orders. If you are a bit shy about adult stores this is the place if you. If you are all about adult stores (like I am) this is also the place for you. read more

An awesome store to be certain. Don't get me wrong, I've been to Babeland, but as a man found their selection to be lacking. They're geared toward the fairer sex. This place is geared towards everyone. Any fetish you can think of is represented here, and the ladies that own the place are super-nice and helpful. This is by far the best adult shop I've been in. (The second best being the Crypt up on Cap Hill, but as I'm not Gay, I feel a tad out of place there too.) Couple the phenominal selection with some of the best prices I've seen in this type of store and it's perfect. I highly recommend stopping in and having a look around. read more

I've driven by this store many times in the last two years; I'm always running errands and forget it is there until I do drive by it. A friend of I were out looking for a place to have a beer in the middle of all the nasty snow. As were were driving back to my place via Leary, I remarked that the store was actually OPEN when the restaurants and pubs weren't! A quick donut in the slick streets and we headed in to see the store. We were warmly greeted and then left to our own devices to peruse the store. We found a great variety of costumes, clothing, lingerie, toys, and even some decent novelty items (which I normally can't stand). I bought two t-shirts while I was there; I wanted to get more things. I enjoyed getting some tips on some of the devices and some great recommendations. I look forward to shopping here again! read more

Wild at Heart is one of the few places in Seattle I have found in Seattle that has a selection of plus size lingerie and corsets. Being a bit on the larger side finding sexy things in sizes over a 10-12 can be very difficult. Here at Wild at Heart you can find plus size stockings, garter belts, and corsetry. They do not have a huge selection, but what they have is quality. The prices on items are very reasonable. I found a lovely purple steel-boned under bust corset for under $100s. This is really on par with the internet prices and you get the luxury of trying the item on. The staff is great and will even help you lace in to a garment if you do not have someone to help you out. This store also sells flogger, cuffs, collars, and other goods made by local craftspeople. I feel like the support of local artisans is very important to our community. I commonly come here to shop these leather goods. If you have a member card for the Center of Sex Positive Culture you receive a 10% off all purchased goods. The store also has a sizable selection of lubes, condoms, and some books. I think it offers a little of something for everyone especially considering the moderate size of the store. If you're looking for something to spice up your sex life, gag a girlfriend at a wedding shower, or just to practice good old fashioned safe sex then visit Wild at Heart. Between the friendly personable staff, affordable prices, and good selection you will not regret dropping in even if your just browsing. read more

Hell yes, this store is awesome. I felt really respected here because usually the first thing that happens when I go in is someone cards me, here I was greeted with a friendly hello. I felt more comfortable here than at any other sex shop I have been to. They had tons and tons of goodies, lots of artsy things as well as a ton of BDSM gear. If I had my paycheck that day I would have come home with a sack of goodies. Once payday rolls around I am coming back :) read more

I went in here with my boyfriend recently, based primarily on feedback from Yelp. The front and main part of the store is very similar to other 'mainstream' adult stores, with a stock of very mainstream toys, clothes and other items. As I am not a mainstream sort of person, I asked the person behind the counter where I could find more of the locally sourced items (I was specifically looking for a blindfold). She pointed the way and I found myself in kinkster heaven. I could EASILY drop multiple hundreds, if not thousands of dollars here. Which is, regrettably, the only reason this is not a 5 star review. I understand the adage "you get what you pay for" and I don't disagree. But I am on a fixed budget, especially vis a vis adult toys. I provided some feedback on specific items I'd like to see there on my next trip, and the woman on staff agreed that those would be an awesome addition. All in all, this is a wonderful store, with knowledgeable, friendly, helpful staff and I highly recommend it. Just be prepared to receive quality gear at a quality price. read more

Great place! I felt so comfortable without the nagging "sales" factor or the skeevy vibe. Owned and run by women, this place definitely knows what a woman wants! read more

I've visited a couple of other stores in the Pierce County area but recently got to venture north to visit this small gem in Ballard. I was greeted by a friendly gal in a Batman shirt who was wearing a Batman name tag so I guess I now know what the caped crusader does for a day job! She was very helpful in assisting me with what I was looking for and questions I had about some of the products. They've got lots of 'old favorites' like the Hitachi Magic Wand as well as many items from smaller and local companies, which is awesome. Wild at Heart definitely has staff that is knowledgeable and intimately knows (no pun intended) the basic and specialty products that they carry. There's lots of items that I had questions on and their staff was mature, attentive and more than happy to help explain stuff that can always be a bit embarrassing for some. There's even a book/education shelf that has helpful reading material! I'll definitely be back. read more

Definitely a place for first time experimenters! Very neat and well organized. Just went there yesterday with my boyfriend and the woman who worked there was very helpful. She was well informed about all of the products and made us feel comfortable. There's a great selection of Leather apparel if you're into that ;) read more

The girl behind the counter was super helpful! I came in looking for vibrators and she let us know how they organize their stock, where to look for higher end vs lower end vibes, etc. Most of the vibrators I looked at had a sample out so you could test the vibration strength (major plus), and the girl mentioned that if there were ones I wanted to test but didn't have a sample she'd be happy to take them out of the box for me. Overall such a great selection and a beautiful shop! I definitely left with more than I expected to and will be back again for more. read more

This store has excellent selection and quality for real toys and play accessories. Not plastic, made in China, garbage like Castle, and more selection than the sparse and trendy babeland. Also, the lady that works there is super chill and helpful. Best sex shop in Seattle hands down. Can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. read more

The owner, Lisa, knows her stuff. They also stock some of the loveliest plus-size lingerie I've seen, in a nice range from the typical rack-stuff to higher-end garments. This is my store of choice: local, super-friendly, amazing selection, knowledgeable, and priced just about right. read more

You know how sex is really fun? (It is.) You know how good sex - the kind sex stores claim to sell you for (frequently) outrageous sums of money - makes your brain really happy? Well, judging by the attitude of the saleswoman who "helped" us out...neither of those statements are true. We asked some pretty easy questions about the types of lube Wild at Heart offered and, despite demonstrating our knowledge in that department and simply wanting to know which water-based brand was best, we got a condescending lecture on how to use lube. Ma'am, I may be wearing a nerdy tee and look a little naive, but I've had my share of sex, thanks. Was supremely disappointed by how we were treated based on how we look (I have to assume, since the woman's back was turned when we came in and her greeting was very friendly), and would not recommend this shop at all. read more

A little bit of everything you would expect in an adult store. The staff is friendly, informed and approachable if you have questions about anything. Great selection of lingerie too!!! read more

Love to have some naughty fun with my S/O and this is the perfect store to find the perfect items. Don't be Intimated by the lack of selection shown online and in pictures. They have a good selections for all types of sexual orientations or why ever your into. Will definitely be back here for some fun toys read more

Wild at Heart looks like a "hole-in-the-wall"-type store from the outside but inside is like any regular adult store - it's very clean, well lit, organized, and fairly spacious. They have a good selection of vibes, harnesses, lingerie, and other novelty items although not as much (of everything) as I would hope for a store of their size. When I was shopping for lingerie I was pleased to find that they had a variety of sizes (even awesome plus size options) and styles in their inventory and they're so well organized that finding things I liked was a breeze. The store itself I would give 4-stars to just because I think they lack inventory/stock - they often only have singular size options for a lot of their lingerie so if you like something but need a different size, they may not have it available/in stock. That being said, I think their customer service more than makes up for what they may lack. Karly was the one who helped me during my visit and she was incredibly helpful, friendly, and understanding. When I couldn't find something that fit me right she gave great suggestions and I felt completely comfortable and welcome in the store. Hands down, some of the best customer service I've experienced in a while at any store, "adult" or not! While Wild at Heart may not always have exactly what I'm looking for, their staff and service is the reason I'll continue to shop with them first. read more

I've driven by here many times on my way home from Fred Meyer, but had never had the time to stop by before. Today, I decided to make the time. This place is awesome, especially for those of us that are shy regarding these kinds of stores. The store wasn't intimidating, nor was the woman who helped me, and I appreciated the wide-range of goodies. I realize now that the woman probably thought I am a lot longer than I really am, but sadly, I am just terribly, terribly shy. Will definitely be heading back! read more
