Looking for the classic big box toys? Don't feel safe shopping at target or anywhere with an armed guard as security? Want your toy store patrons to be kids at heart, but sales adults on the clock? This toy shop brings a sense of wonder, and charm to pioneer square. Located at the beating heart of occidental square, feel free to come in and play!

Very magical indeed! Many toys, books, and puzzles, and books. The staff were nice and helpful when looking for a specific item. Many items were relatively cheep and affordable. The board games where cheeper then the retail price in other stores

While in Seattle my sister spotted this toy store and really wanted to go inside. Unfortunately, we had to wait until the next day because they were closed. The hours are weird so you really have to watch the time because the shop is only open from 12-4 Wednesday through Sunday. Luckily, we made it back the next day and we're glad that we did! This is a kids dream! There are a ton of toys, stuffed animals, and little trinkets. So many games, puzzles, books and odd items. There are two levels so don't miss the downstairs where the real magic happens. We travelled downstairs and I believe we came across the owner. He was very quirky and I could tell that he had a true passion for the place that he has created. He made a joke with us while launching one of those slingshot flying monkeys. What a cool guy! I really enjoyed the puzzle and game room. There was an abundance of beautiful chess sets and they were very decently priced. Nothing was of outrageous expense and I'm sure that anyone could find something that they would enjoy. You do not have to be a kid to enjoy the store because surely the kid will come out in you when you step inside.

THE OLDEST TOY STORE IN WA STATE! A fun place for kids of all ages! This two-story toy store is filled with all kinds of fun things. The clerk confessed that he used to come here as a boy and now he is working here. The bottom floor was once at street level since the building existed before the street was raised in 1895. You can even still see the original entrance all bricked up. There are toy cars, toy planes, toy sailing boats, puzzles, Legos, novelties, stuffed animals, and on and on. Check out Magic Mouse Toys. It's a fun place to browse, even if you're a grown-up! BTW, if you enjoyed my review or found it useful, funny, or cool, please don't hesitate to click the little button to say so, or better yet, go ahead and friend me. So go on! Press that button, and never miss one of my epic reviews in the Seattle area and beyond. Excelsior!

An absolutely amazing fun store! Between me and my other half we have four kids in the Primage of toy stores and I'm always gonna say this in the beginning of my toy store reviews that I am a sucker for a brick and mortar toy store and I think that people they complain about them for people that are stuck in this new world where you shop from your home, and never experience anything firsthand!! This is a huge one. It's got two stories, and anytime there are stairs in a store. It makes it that much more impressive... We came in expecting nothing, and we got lots of fun items to mess around with, and play fun, keyboards laying around amazing puzzles and stuffed animals and you so many fun things overall, this time we didn't up purchasing anything but there were many items that we definitely kept an eye on for future gifts. An absolutely amazing layout of things here... I don't know how they do that and Seattle keep it so clean so neat and well staffed but it's absolutely a great place and I'm a stop by if you have kids.

Well I'm super happy that they have reopened!!! Toy stores have taken a huge hit due to Amazon and other major retailers competing. This place is wonderful for both adults and youngsters. I grew up loving this place! And clearly it can withstand anything !

Toys, toys, toys and MORE toys!!!!!!! I feel like a kid at Christmas. Two stories of new toys, classic toys, LEGO's, Playmobil, board games, puzzles, planes, trains and even automobiles... Friendly service and great selection. The only bad part is creatively finding a way to make the kids narrow down their selection: No, you can't have ALL of those...!

They have so much more than just comic books. They have lots of board games. There's a huge collection of posters and figurines. The comic books are separated in sections by genre. There are also many types of playing cards, pins and collectibles as well. One of the unique items at this store was they had the scripts of many popular movies and TV shoes. I saw the script of pilot episode of GOT, TBBT, Friends and among movies there was Batman, Harry Porter, LOTR, Hunger Games, Twin Peaks and hundreds of more of them. I found a Marvel poster that I liked a lot. It was reasonably priced for $15. Checkout process was quick with assistance from very friendly staff. If you are comic fan, this is an absolutely must visit place for anyone visiting the Pike Place market.

They have all sorts of collectibles, you name it, and if it's popular, it's probably here. Comics/manga, collectable buttons, stickers, magnets, Figures, Funko's, mugs, posters of movies, posters of anime, wall scrolls and tons more crammed into this little shop. What I thought was cool was the Cardboard stand ups of Star Wars characters just outside the shop. That is something I don't see often and was kind hoping someone would buy one so that I can ask them how they planned to carry it out without it being damaged. That all said there are snags about Golden Age Collectables. A collectable shop to me is usually in sort of a lower traffic area, or a mall at most. Golden Age here is in a very high traffic area, It's Pike Place after all - a tourist destination, and the store is not particularly big, neither are the aisles. It was hard to stop and look at look at anything without being in someone's way. So, the browsing experience was not great here. My friend got major icks when someone was trying to pass her in a crowded aisle... and was let's just say was a bit inappropriate about it. As a result, she wanted to wait outside for the remainder of the visit. I was not far behind due to how cramped it is. I'd say if you have in mind something you want here, check it out, but if you don't do well in tight spaces and lots of people, exercise discretion.

What kind of store doesn't want to sell their items? Unbelievable! How do they stay in business? She even asked my 10 year old are you following me? I found that very rude! The worst store I've ever been in. First of all, we were a family of 4 and my children each got one. You took out that jelly cat you did not put on the floor on your own. We did not ask for you to take anything out besides asking if you had another quantity of the pink bunny. We knew nothing about the another one you brought out on your own. It's doesn't especially mean if we're a family of four we could do 4 transactions. So don't say we're lying when you caused all this. We are not your only bad review, we have seen your past reviews on Google. I still don't recommend this place to any families with children or anyone in general. Have a great day. You can stop replying and not opening it to the public because it's showing guilt. I'm sure I'm not the only bad review you'll ever get considering how you run your business. I didn't see your goggle reviews before I went to your shop but it is what it is. What happened and said is done and at the end of the day my kids got what they wanted despite you hesitating to sell to kids. You tried to save the jellycats for a collector FYI my kids are collectors! Take care!

My son was instantly intrigued by the car and toy selection right at the door. While my daughter was drawn to the crafts section. I really liked the unique kids apparel, and personalized feel the overall store ambiance yields. The service was good, there was only one person working on a Sunday and she was understandably busy but courteous to everyone whom walked in. If you have little ones and you're at the market make sure to include Post Alley Kids in your visit, your little people will thank you.
