I'm so glad I came across this cute gem while shopping around the Pike Place market. I believe it's on the first lower level. It's an animated cat themed shop with trinkets, blind boxes, posters, shirts, plushies and more. I'm on the blind box trend and I love cats, so of course I had to grab one while I was here. I ended up getting the pizza bagel cat figurine - so cute and very well made. It's about the size of your hand and is a good solid material and coloring. It makes me want to collect them all now! And the coolest part is they have an online store where you can purchase items online and have them shipped to you. Everything was reasonably priced, nothing more than you'd see priced at the mall or a gift shop. Unique and worth it! read more

Bright lights to find your way through all the darkness of the downstairs stores. This one shines so brightly and was a diamond in the rough. Lots of cuteness of doughnut cats of pins ( around $12), stickers ($5 big sticker or $8 for a sheet of small ones), post cards ($2 each or 3 for $5), pastry pets, mugs, T-shirts, coloring books and more. The owner, Marnin and his dog, Daisy were delightful. Marnin offered to give kiddos treats to Daisy and showed how to give the treats the right way. He was good with the kids. I ended up getting a post card, sticker and chapstick. The post card was quite likable as it was a postcard of the word Seattle and its famous landmarks and cartoon pic of Marnin, his wife and their dog Daisy. The cutest shop ever! The hubs and I were just walking around Pikes and saw this cute little shop on the second level. You can't miss this cuteness overload. You walk in and you're immediately greeted by cute and fun characters. There are posters, handmade plush items, stickers, postcards, clothing, blind boxes, cups, etc. I swear, I wanted to buy everything. I ended up with a shirt, and a couple sticker sheets for my niece. The little handmade plush were priced fairly because it's quality and labor that you're paying for AND you're supporting a small business. So it is worth every penny. I wanted to buy one but I could hear my sister telling me no. Hahah. I was rung up by one of the owners. He was super nice and very friendly. He answered some of my questions about his shop. Gave me a cute little business card and now I'm gonna forever shop online because how could you not? If I am back in Seattle, I would make it a point to stop by here. This is a hidden gem in the underground part of Pike Place Market. The owners are extremely friendly and love to entertain their customers! They are a local married couple who create all of the art in their shop and they've been a vendor in Seattle for many years now. It was a fun experience getting to talk to them and hear about their history with donut cats. I was tempted to buy everything in the store... but my favorite items were the Pike Place Market themed postcards! They were too cute and include their original characters. One of the cutest stores I've ever seen. I wanted to buy everything! All of the designs were fun and charming, some of which even included the owners and their dog. I don't know what I'm going to do with postcards, but they are detailed and bring me joy every time I look at them. I bought a pizza bagel cat t-shirt and donut sweatshirt as well. Their clothing comes in unisex sizing. The owner who was there was friendly and kind. He explained that he and his partner designed everything in the shop and that their items can only be found there. I enjoyed seeing their adorable mascot too, Daisy the dog! I found this brightly lit, modern, kawaii shop a breath of fresh air compared to the other shops in Pike Place Market. The stands, packaging and designs are all very thoughtful. I'll be sure to visit again the next time I'm in Seattle. read more

Definitely not one to miss when visiting Pike Place Market and Seattle! I love the concept and the creativity & attention to detail (especially with the packaging) behind this place. My favorite highlights is the pink sprinkle fuzzy wall where you can snap a selfie photo and be sent to your email for free, and also the pastry pets shelf where they have tongs and trays available to pick out and choose your treats. My brother bought me a doughnut pet as souvenir to remind me of Seattle (in my favorite flavor ofc) and t-shirt. Can tell everything here is of high quality and their pastry pets are handmade ! Also their apparel are super soft. We got to meet the owners, they were working the store front that day and can tell they're very passionate about their craft/products. I had been to Pike's multiple times over the years, but somehow kept missing the open hours for this incredibly cute shop. So many times I had to just enjoy the shop from outside its very cute windows. Today I finally caught the shop being open! The cashier was so sweet and I had a great time exploring all the kawaii goodness. I was not at all disappointed to find that these are totally unrealted toys. This has the be the cutest shop in all of the Pikes Place Market! I ended up getting a bunny doughnut and some matching stickers. I can't wait to give them to her! The owner is very friendly and was actually working on another doll behind the counter. The only reason why I put four rather than five stars is that these toys are pretty expensive, but they are adorable and handmade which may justify their price. read more

A super duper cute little shop full of original art (pastry pets!) designed by a couple living here in Seattle. We wandered onto this adorable shop while visiting the Public Market and trying to get to the restroom downstairs. I think we all gasped at how cute everything was! The owner was the nicest guy and explained to us how this all started 10 years ago as his wife's passion project (they met while in art school). Apparently they hand sew each of their cute little pastry animals - tiny little things that fit in the palm of your hand. It is pricey ($38 for each plushie) but these are all handmade. We did learn that they are doing a pop up next month in L.A. so definitely look out for them! read more

Super kawaii little store and you are helping local artist! We met the owner and he was super friendly, he told us a bit history of Marnin Saylor how it got started and of his wife's love of drawing. The store has handmade plush of donut cat, donut bunny and chocolate eclair bears. Those actually go pretty quickly and I can see why! I love how taking pictures are encourage in the store and they even have a selfie machine where you can email yourself pictures with a cute background. Masks are required to enter right now during Covid times and they are located at the basement of Pike Place market place. I end up going home with a small donut cat patch that comes with a cute sticker and some postcards. A great souvenir from Seattle and you can shop more online as well. read more

Awesome in so many ways!! I first saw their plush cats at a booth at the market a few years ago and fell in love. They are so cute! I am very excited that they have a permanent location! The store is cute and there is a wall to take your picture at. They even offered to take a picture of us. Also, the store is very bright. SUPER CUTE STORE IN SEATTLE! Stumbled upon this place around Pike Place and it just caught my eye as being adorable and unique. Everything is handmade and adorable which caught my eye. The cat donut combines everything of cute and there is no better word to describe it. There is also bear eclairs which are super adorable and you can't pass it up if you're a tourist in Seattle. For a little plush, it is roughly $22-$24 (??) plus tax. Or you can snag a single keychain for $9 plus tax and a couple keychain for $14 plus tax! I got a couple keychain totalling ~$16 which was on the expensive side but since it was my first time in Seattle and the keychains were too cute to pass up, I had to get it! I got lucky and I got to meet Marnin and he was super nice! He explained the critters and the prices. His whole attitude was just full of cheer and genuity which I really appreciate! I am so OBSESSED with this shop! They have so many cute things here! If you don't believe me look at the pictures. The customer service is great and they even have cute pink trays and little tongs you can put the plush donuts on! Every time I come here any sadness I felt before instantly goes away. Just the entire vibe is nice here. I had no idea about this place until the pandemic calmed down. I seriously can't stop coming here and adopting more of their pastry pet. I'm almost done collecting them all now. They all have names and when you buy them at the check out, they get told to behave themselves lol. It's all so cute! I love how they're all hand made one by one and a lot of creativeness and detail go into them. I also like how I'm supporting a small business. This place was so so cute! It was like stepping into a whole other world. It's so different from every other store in the marketplace. There's tons of natural light coming in, everything is very clean and spaced out, and the products are so cute! My friend and I each picked out a shirt and a sweatshirt because we couldn't leave without getting anything. We spoke to the owner Thomas a little bit as we were checking out and he was so kind and told us all about how he and his wife got started and that they're going on a tour to sell their products at the end of the summer. I had no idea what this place was but walking around the Pike Place Market it was almost glowing. It was so brightly lit and so pretty and pink. We were lured inside by the cuteness.
