The best place to buy retro games , amazing customer service and support.. I was pleasantly surprised to see a vast amount of inventory

Check out that video game wall!

This place is soooo... cool! We happened to step in on the way to a comedy show and we're quite surprised by the selection! Nostalgia city! If you want to get caught up in a blast from the past and actually see good deals too then this is a little gem in the city. They have so many games from so many game systems I forgot even existed! Wow! I loved the presentation of everything and it took me a while to browse everything but it was a nice little run through memory lane. This is a place for a true video game collector!

Always walked past Pink Gorilla in the ID heading elsewhere. Ducked into the Pink Gorilla on the UDistrict's Ave, to kill more time on the meter after quick stops at Urban Outfitters and Mee Sum Pastry. Definitely well patronized as the store had several folks wandering around. Well stocked gaming store...discs and other merchandise. The Homie spent some time looking at XBox 360 and XBox One items. The staff came across as friendly and helpful as I observed them helping others. Didn't buy anything, but made an impression for a future return visit.

Love. This. Place. Wanted to get a copy of Pokémon Shield, but it was out of stock everywhere (go figure), so I was mildly surprised that Pink Gorilla had it in stock. Walked in to a retro masterpiece of games, consoles and accessories! Truly a gamer's dream stop and shop. Staff was super friendly. I'm heading back home to California today, but this place is at the top of my list for when I return. Can't wait to see what treasures I can find!

Case of valuable handheld consoles and some classic games.

If your ever have the chance to stop in, you should! It's a fun nostalgic experience and they have an impressive collection of games, consoles, and misc. stuff compared to other video game/media stores I have seen in the Seattle area. Staff have almost always greeted me when I come in and seem to enjoy their job (or at least do a good job of faking it). They are knowledgeable and willing to help you if there is any questions or service you need but also give you space if you just want to browse. It's how every retail store should be and they nailed it. Pink Gorilla is an iconic brand and I hope they can stay around for years to come. Obviously I wish prices could be lower for some of the prized possessions I'm looking for but they sell at market value so you can't really complain.

Pink Gorilla is absolutely adorable. It immediately brought me back to the stores in Akihabara, Tokyo. One of the girls that works here mentioned that the owner modeled the store design with Akihabara in mind (there's a lot more room to walk though, thank goodness!). I went in today to check the prices on their used 3DS systems, because mine has been randomly forgetting that it has a game cartridge in it. The nice gentleman working there cleaned out the game port on my current 3DS without even mentioning a charge, and lamented the loss of game process without a save. It was incredibly sweet and generous of him. I also bought an adorable glittery pink gorilla pin. It's cute that they have plushies and pins for their own store as well as dozens of keychain ornaments for everything else. Also, they had PS1 consoles for $25. I'll come back for that! Best game shop around!

We walked in the front door and there were groups of people playing board games and video games. Not a single person looked up to greet us, or even acknowledge us. They continued to play their games and ignored us. We stood there for a few minutes waiting to see if anyone would even LOOK in our direction to no avail. We looked around, didn't see many board games for sale, still not a single person said hello. I looked at him, he looked at me, and we promptly left. I will never go here again. I have never in my life walked into a game store and felt so unwelcome! It's great to have a place to play games and all that jazz, but I really think the employees should be able to stop playing a game for a moment and work on at least saying hello to their customers... I would rather travel over to Queen Anne or Greenwood.. Or heck, REDMOND if I have to for a look at their board games/card games. Save yourself the awkward trip and go elsewhere.

However the store is very spacious so we never had to worry about bumping into others which is nice. The store is organized very well and clean, not just cluttered or throw everywhere. They have so much to look at besides just games too. They had plushies, blind boxes, vinyl soundtracks, and more. The back of the store had plenty of pinball machines, basketball machine, and other fun arcade games too. The prices are generally good as they do have a lot of older games. The employees were busy helping customers and ensuring all questions or concerns were addressed. They were very professional and patient.

Buyer beware…read more Unclear return policy. They do not properly test older consoles. Seem to knowingly sell broken pieces with fraudulently manipulated serial numbers and similar. Will not refund doa hardware within 48 hours. Will tell you to email the owner but that the owner will refuse to refund so you shouldn't bother. Awful customer service. They're also $10-20 over actual value of most things. Do not buy any hardware you do not expect to fully recap and repair as, again, they do not adequately test anything. Make them plug in and boot any cartridge games on actual hardware and verify functionality before paying. Edit: No Matt your staff refused me a refund after selling me a super famicom with missing security screws that stopped powering on within 24 hours. You also two weeks ago sold an overpriced top loader that had a completely non functional rf cable that you clearly never tested because it had so much interference you couldn't see how bad the video was and that the console needed recapping. You also sold me a Tetris cart with it that will not boot on anything. That's 3 dead devices out of 4 purchased in 2 weeks. (The Mario cart worked.) You did swap the Tetris cart. The super famicom wouldn't read more than 70% of the games tried on it, including the one you required I purchased that the staff could not get to read in store but would not sell the console without. There was a huge strip of cotton in the pin reader from where you cleaned it with the wrong tools. After sucking out the cotton it still would not read about 20-30% of carts before it stopped powering on. Your staff literally saw it failing to read carts and said it was a bad cart I had to buy with the system. Upon further physical inspection the top and bottom half of the shell are most likely cobbled together from different units which means you knew you were selling broken trash. You clearly are not appropriately testing anything. Your staff said I "could try" sending you, personally, an email at that address but that "I've been working here for years and have basically never seen them do a refund." So no I didn't reach out to you because I don't like wasting my time. There are so many actually good used/retro game stores near Seattle that have great customer service and clearly articulated return policies while actually testing and/or repairing the items they resell. Don't waste your time or money at this place. Edit the second: Shockingly no response to the email requested be sent in 2 weeks. Do not patronize.

Where to begin, I had purchased a XBox One X at a pawnshop and wanted to get a 1tb SSD installed, cleaning and new thermal paste. From the jump Harrison was genuinely patient, informative, helpful and had a quick turnaround. The cost for repair and cleaning was beyond reasonable, the turnaround was quick and have had no issues with the upgraded XBox. We've gone several times, have sold Classic consoles to him at a fair price. I've taken both my boys and Harrison has been so cool answering all their questions. It's the closest thing to going to the toy store when I was a kid and having that overall Human experience. We have games stores around the Kenmore/Bothell area but we choose to go to Harrison and ReLoved gaming. Eddie Kenmore/Bothell

Excellent repair work. Not so excellent communication…read more They did an amazing job repairing my 3DS after the B button stopped responding correctly. One of the screws on the back was stripped so I wasn't able to get the panel off myself to try to fix it. But they were able to work around it. They also replaced the cracked circle pad pro nub without me even asking! The one thing I would suggest for improvement is that they don't communicate well. They are very friendly and made me feel confident that they could fix my issue. However, when I brought my unit in they told me they would let me know after 3-4 days what the total price would be as well as what they would have to do to fix it. After 8 days I called myself and they told me they would call me back later that day. 3 days later I still hadn't heard anything had to call them back again to get an answer. This cycle happened 2 or 3 more times before I figured out that they are more likely to reply to text messages. They also forgot to put 2 of the screw covers back when they repaired my console. After contacting them they said that they would ship them out to my house. It's been over two months and I've contacted them twice about it, but nothing has come of it. The communication and lack of following up when they would say they would is the only reason I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise I would totally recommend this business. They also have a lot of rare and obscure video games and accessories. Such as, did you know that a sewing machine was made that could pair to a gameboy color? Well I didn't, they have one!
