Awesome toy collector store right off the subway stop in ID. When I moved to Seattle I decided that I wanted to rekindle old hobbies of mine and building Gunpla is one of them. Thank god I found this little store. The service here is really great with the owner of the store being extremely knowledgeable on anything Gunpla related while not being overbearing on wanting to pressure customers into purchasing something. The variety of kit selection here speaks for itself. I think after 10 mins of perusing anyone would be able to find something that they would like. For a small locally owned shop the prices that are set for kits here are very fair too. Because of this store I have an ever growing collection of Gunpla being displayed at my apartment and I feel an obligation to add to it every time I stop here.

As soon as moved to Seattle (I live on Mercer Island) I looked for my local hobby shop to supply my Gunpla hobby. Tom Dang's Int'l Model Toys is now my go-to shop. His shop contains anything a modeller would need to take a Gundam plastic model kit from box to shelf including tools, paints, solvents, decals, finishes, etc. It's a bit small but stocked to the ceiling in beautiful diorama displays and merch. What's more, he stocks tons of hard to find kits, which if you're lucky, you'll find what you've been searching for! I have been eyeing some PBandai kits for a year and so glad I waited to stumble upon them in a brick and mortar shop. Even better, the prices are very close to MSRP. I don't know how this is possible with a small shop in downtown Seattle but props to Tom. I would still gladly pay a premium to support the local business. In SoCal, I exclusively ordered my hobby supplies online and am so glad to support Tom's shop. He has been so incredibly helpful and friendly all the times I've visited in the past few months and I will continue to return for all my kits and supplies.

Cool lil store in Chinatown that I stumbled upon this weekend and wanted to shout it out for being really cool. It had a variety of selections and great displays. If this is your thing I suggest checking this place out. If it's not your thing, it's still pretty cool to window shop and check it out.

I love this toy store! It's the place I usually go to for my gundam. Ever since my friend introduced me to building gundam/gunpla, I've been addicted. And this store is the most convenient for me. Plus the prices are pretty affordable compared to other places. :) There's a good selection too! And the owner is really nice and helpful!

Everytime I go to Seattle I start by heading at Chinatown and going to this kit store. The owner is a great guy and his art is fantastic and it's always amazing to find great and unique kits.

Seriously! Look at this amazing piece

A hidden gem in Chinatown. This place is the perfect destination for Japanese pop culture. There were some impressive gundam statues on display as well as a huge Godzilla figure on top shelf. I spoke to the owner Tom and got a chance to appreciate the store more after hearing how much work he put into the models. Each model was meticulously assembled and painted. It looked like they won a few awards for their hard work. You can tell the shop was created as a passion, from someone who truly loved Japanese/anime culture. There were so many cool items and I wished I had money to grab them because in a few years, their value would be so high. For collectors, this is a must-visit toy shop.

Its a very small store. But they do have some pretty cool stocks. Or Gundam toys. I am not sure what is a good deal and what is not. As I don't usually buy Gundam kits. Came inside because the store really stood out in Chinatown. Its interesting how there is a very old grannie sitting inside the store. I guess she is also the owner. When you walk inside you really got to becareful because you can easily knock things done. I find the store fasinating. Did I end up buying anything. Unfortunately No. I did see two Korean end up purchasing to Gundam kit. I would consider this place as a guys hobby store.

Oh Yeah, this place allows my inner Nerd to come out. I had to pickup some supplies and the Gundam Fix Figuration 0040 Kyoshiro Maniax Red Warrior caught my eye so I bought it. The price is alittle high but I hate waiting so it was okay for me. The prices and the old lady wasn't very much help but I think the normal staff was probably sick or on pee break. This location is sandwich between Piece of Cake and Fuji Bakery in the ID. No parking but I just park in the 3 min zone because I knew what I needed to buy today. If you LOVE model kits, come here!

This is a terrific hobby shop! They have a giant selection of Gundam kits, other mecha kits and action figures from around the world, though mostly from Japan. they also have a huge selection of Tamiya paints and supplies and Gundam Markers. I met Bruno and he was very friendly and helpful with different techniques. Their prices are about $10 more then they need to be but I was very pleased with what I saw. Their displays are immaculate! CHECK IT OUT (I didn't give 5 stars because I don't know what deserves 5 stars...)

The entrance to all cool Japanese toys! Models, trinkets, and messenger bags, etc.

Does this store have any Warhammer figurines?

They do not, the focus is on Gundam models and other similar products.

This place seems focused solely on Gundam style stuff. Are there more than just Gundam? I prefer more anime girl related stuff

They do stock some Megami Device kits. You'd still have to build them but worth a trip to see!

They have so much more than just comic books. They have lots of board games. There's a huge collection of posters and figurines. The comic books are separated in sections by genre. There are also many types of playing cards, pins and collectibles as well. One of the unique items at this store was they had the scripts of many popular movies and TV shoes. I saw the script of pilot episode of GOT, TBBT, Friends and among movies there was Batman, Harry Porter, LOTR, Hunger Games, Twin Peaks and hundreds of more of them. I found a Marvel poster that I liked a lot. It was reasonably priced for $15. Checkout process was quick with assistance from very friendly staff. If you are comic fan, this is an absolutely must visit place for anyone visiting the Pike Place market.

They have all sorts of collectibles, you name it, and if it's popular, it's probably here. Comics/manga, collectable buttons, stickers, magnets, Figures, Funko's, mugs, posters of movies, posters of anime, wall scrolls and tons more crammed into this little shop. What I thought was cool was the Cardboard stand ups of Star Wars characters just outside the shop. That is something I don't see often and was kind hoping someone would buy one so that I can ask them how they planned to carry it out without it being damaged. That all said there are snags about Golden Age Collectables. A collectable shop to me is usually in sort of a lower traffic area, or a mall at most. Golden Age here is in a very high traffic area, It's Pike Place after all - a tourist destination, and the store is not particularly big, neither are the aisles. It was hard to stop and look at look at anything without being in someone's way. So, the browsing experience was not great here. My friend got major icks when someone was trying to pass her in a crowded aisle... and was let's just say was a bit inappropriate about it. As a result, she wanted to wait outside for the remainder of the visit. I was not far behind due to how cramped it is. I'd say if you have in mind something you want here, check it out, but if you don't do well in tight spaces and lots of people, exercise discretion.

What kind of store doesn't want to sell their items? Unbelievable! How do they stay in business? She even asked my 10 year old are you following me? I found that very rude! The worst store I've ever been in. First of all, we were a family of 4 and my children each got one. You took out that jelly cat you did not put on the floor on your own. We did not ask for you to take anything out besides asking if you had another quantity of the pink bunny. We knew nothing about the another one you brought out on your own. It's doesn't especially mean if we're a family of four we could do 4 transactions. So don't say we're lying when you caused all this.
