I hired Game Truck to deliver an online gaming experience for my daughters 10th birthday. And boy did they deliver. The game counselors are punctual, professional and most importantly really good at working with kids. We had 17 kids total, ranging in age from 4-11 piled up in our playroom. Game Truck brought 20 Nintendo Switches and every kid got to pick not only which game they wanted to play (Fortnite, Minecraft, Mario Kart,, etc) but whether or not they wanted to play with other kids or on their own. That last detail is crucial. Some kids just want to build in Minecraft without the threat of another kid destroying their creation, or explore Fortnite without the threat of sniper fire. During the 1.5 hours of play, I checked on the kids periodically because it was so quiet. Every time I checked the kids were happy and calm, laying on their tummies or against the couch just soaking up the experience. Alan brought his Gametruck to my place for my son's 9th birthday.... the kids were blown away. They were going nuts as soon as he pulled up. He takes extraordinary care of the truck, it looks mint and the inside is clean and organized. We had kids that ranged from our three to fourteen and everyone was accommodated without a single argument. Alan was onsite in the truck the entire time and quickly swapped games out and set up new players super fast. Even had a few parents stick around and play some games. My son just attended a 7 year old birthday party from this vendor and I find out they let these kids play Fortnite, that isn't even rated for their age and that many parents forbid their kids to play. Freaking ridiculous. Where was the common sense and also a heads up to parents of kids attending that violent games rated above their age would be allowed at the party?!? Ridiculous. Fair warning to any parent, go with a party activity where the vendor will enforce age appropriate activities. read more

Our elementary school has used Game Truck a whole bunch of times for our Family Fun nights, and even for grand prizes for our fundraisers! I want to give 3.5 stars. The truck and driver were all good, EXCEPT, that although he came a bit early, it took him a very long time to back into the driveway since its a very big trailer being towed. so he was only ready to let the kids in when it was already 10:15am, but he did not give us extra time due to this fact, he still counted it as if we had started at 10am and so by 11:30am the kids had to stop. So we got 75 minutes of play while paying for 90 minutes. Just felt this was worth pointing out, that they are very strict to limit the time kids get to play, don't expect lenient and friendly service in terms of the the cutoff. read more

This was our 2nd time using GameTruck. Didier was fantastic with the kids - very knowledgeable about the games, helped kids work through things quickly and calmly, and was completely on top of everything. He is genuinely a nice guy. I was really impressed. He showed up about 15 minutes before the party and got everything set up. The truck had plenty of room, and the kids had a great time. Not only can you play a variety of consoles and dozens of games, you can have the party LEAVE whenever you want! All the noise, the mess, the chaos of the clean up? It leaves at the end of the day. No more messy living rooms, no more wires chewed up by pets (or kids?) Whether you're 8 or 88 this truck is a fantastic solution to party problems. I've sat down with upwards of 10 other adults and have heard that about 15 kids can sit in the truck comfortably. Each monitor can host up to four players on different consoles as well. Oh yeah...and of course they're flatscreens! I'm literally thinking of reasons to rent the truck again just because of how fun it was. Talk about high tech. We hired GameTruck for our company summer event. The truck pulled up, offered to have me edit the games people could/couln't play (I left that to the parents) and then people showed up to play games. As it is a self-contained unit, there was some confusion as to whether it was open for business or not. (We had food trucks as well, so people were expecting the truck to have some sort of window that opened.) That was the only glitch...once word got out that the truck was open, it became quite popular. We also provided the driver with 8 prizes to give out for tournaments or high scores, which she was happy to do. Didier, the owner/manager/booker was professional and helpful. ETA: The price was MUCH cheaper than we had been quoted by a party company. I recommend booking directly with a game truck and not going through a party company. read more

We arranged to have this awesome truck at my sons 9th birthday party. The best part is he had NO idea this truck existed, let alone was going to have it at his party! Booking was super smooth and they email you a confirmation right away with a link to their online event site where you can log in and see party tips, what to expect etc. On the day of the event, the game coach (who is GREAT by the way) called to tell me he was in route. We had saved enough space in front of our house and my husband was waiting outside when he showed up. My husband took care of letting our coach know what games were inappropriate for the kids. Then after the kids knew there was a surprise outside, it was pure excitement as they RAN outside to the truck and couldn't wait to get in. The truck was comfortable, great chairs and basically every game the kids wanted. We had plenty of room with nine boys in there and they loved every minute of their two hours. At one point I saw one of the boys say "This is the best party ever" and he high-fived his friend. Another great thing is the game coach knows about all of the games really well. When a kid was stuck or was going to maybe miss something cool, he would make suggestions or help the kids out if they needed it. And anyone who can put up with 9 yelling boys who were 8-11 years old, and not lose their mind, gets Kudos in my book! He let us know when there was about 15 minute left so the boys could plan the rest of their time. The kids were so sad when he had to leave. We can't wait to rent the truck again. This is my second game truck party and it was another huge hit! Kristi and her staff at Game truck are always very professional and friendly. They're on time and they don't rush the kids at all when the time ended. I had a range of kids from 4-14 and all of them had fun! There was something for everyone! Even my 4 yo nieces who don't normally play video games had fun because they all had remotes to hold so they "thought" they were playing. They didn't feel left out. We had the Game Truck for my son's 8th Birthday Party. He had attended a friend's party with the Game Truck and knew it was what he wanted to. The kids had a blast. The truck came to our neighborhood clubhouse where we held the party and that was it. The kids disappeared for the next 90 minutes. I'm not sure they would have even cared if they missed the cake as they had so much fun. I was very happy that I could have the higher rated games pulled before the kids even got inside the truck. This was the best birthday party for my 10 year old! Everything about the experience was easy - reserving our date, coordinating the truck's arrival, and running the event. They were so professional, and the kids had an amazing time playing games. I was impressed with how clean and comfortable the truck interior was. Even with 10 rambunctious 10 year old boys, it wasn't totally overwhelming. Comfy seating, a huge selection of games they could either choose to do multi-player or solo on several X Box consoles with several huge screens across a whole side of the truck. This is a seriously awesome idea! I got a chance to check out the truck at the Pure Barre yelp event and had a blast with it! The seats were very comfy and the TVs are far better then the one I game on at home...I think I'd just like to park this truck in front of my house for my own personal use! I mean, this truck has everything from Plants vs Zombies to Blur to Call of Duty. Which brings me to the fact that I think I freaked a few of the guys out, sitting there all decked out, dressed up, and prettily spray-tanned playing war games. I overheard one of them commenting he'd 'Never seen a girl play Call of Duty before', and despite being offered the chance to play against me he didn't want to take it. Afraid I'd beat him? Possibly. Chance of that happening? Not high. But I still found it greatly amusing - that's me, shattering social norms one at a time! Or something like that. This is the second party we have had with the game truck and we will probably have one next year for my youngest child. I had 90 minutes of uninterrupted bliss all while 10 kids were having a party at my house. It was amazing. It's worth the cost for a memorable party. At the pure barre yelp elite event, I had the opportunity to play at the gametruck. who would have thought that you can play either xbox or wii inside a truck. The truck is fully equipped with large screen tvs with comfy couches.there's 4 screens in the truck and a whole row seats. Seems like a good idea for company party entertainment. Hm.. or maybe a wedding event. Let all those bored kids at the wedding enjoy some entertainment while parents are busy enjoying the wedding. We had a wonderful experience for my daughter's 7th birthday. Excellent communication from the company prior to the party. The day of the party the truck called us to remind us what time he would be arriving and he was even early! The attendant was excellent, I got to choose the games available for the kids to play and the attendant made a few suggestions. There were so many games that were age appropriate, more than I expected. We had 18 girls and there was plenty of room for them to sit comfortably. The truck was air conditioned and clean. Our attendant spent time helping the kids with the games if they had trouble, he was attentive throughout the party. The girls had a wonderful time and I am hoping my other daughter wants a GameTruck party so we can use them again. I can't recommend this company enough--fantastic work! read more

Renting the Game Truck for our sons' combined birthday party was the best idea ever! Their pricing is competitive with other gaming locations, but the best part is that all the kids are contained in one space. They got to make tons of noise, but I didn't have to stay to listen to it. Also because the truck keeps them all in one spot, I didn't have to worry about "stranger danger" once, like I did at the Family Fun Center where the kids run amok and all over without checking in with the parents.
