Not a 1 star because the first time I went in, the cashier was extremely nice and helpful, just a great guy. The owner had an issue with me leaving my e scooter in the store. Last night was my first time in Lover's Lair, and I've got to say, I was impressed by the sheer amount of BDSM paraphernalia they have. That being said, however, there was very little else to impress us there. The clothing selection is extensive, and my girlfriend bought my a pair of panties and some stockings...nothing extravagant. However, when we got home, we noticed there was a hole (a rather large hole, actually) in the back of the panties...obviously, we should have inspected them a bit more closely before joyously buying them. This, however, wasn't the biggest problem. When I called, asking to exchange them, I was told flat-out that, no, there was no way they'd exchange them. But, I said, if they were purchased accidentally ripped, won't you even look at them? After all, it's not as if I ecstatically romped through an orgy in them...I'd simply taken them out, inspected them, and realized they were faulty. So. It should be a simple exchange, right? Wrong. The front desk clerk who answered the phone was snotty (as she had been the night before) and said they wouldn't even look at them. Well, great. The service at Lover's (formerly Lover's Package) has always been exponentially better, even if their kink stock isn't quite as high. I'll be going back again, but cautiously.
