I believe the owner was hitting on my husband, proceeded to touch him saying she'd use a toy on him in a couple years if he comes back begging. Edit 1: We were at the electro toys. I remember you saying, "You'll be begging, mistress please lock me up". When we glanced at that one specific chastity toy. He told me you introduced yourself as his "new mistress" I heard that too, then shook his hand. At first, I thought it was a joke that he would call ME his mistress. He told me it didn't not seem that way and it was a joke that he would call you his mistress. He felt that shoulder rub during those comments was in an inappropriate manner whether or not it was intentional. I'm 20 and he is 22. Yes. We are adults, but we are not swingers or any kind of non-monogamous. read more

Great store friendly staff. I've been multiple times and have always had a good experience, as a closeted crossdresser/sissy I feel comfortable to go dressed up and try on lingerie, it's nice to be able to try on the lingerie versus buying online. They have an amazing selection of all type of toys as well.definitely my favorite adult store around. read more

Not a 1 star because the first time I went in, the cashier was extremely nice and helpful, just a great guy. The owner had an issue with me leaving my e scooter in the store. Okay, not a big deal just annoying as it wasn't busy and wasn't in the way. Would have given that visit a 4 or 4.5. I come back today and it's just the owner. I got a backpack and he wants me to leave it. Okay, fine... small store and I'm the only one there but it's not a big deal. The problem is he wants me to leave it right by the door? Are you kidding me? In this neighborhood? I ask if I can just hand it to him so he can put it behind the counter or something. Keeps saying leave it right there. No buddy, not leaving it where it can be snatched immediately and conveniently. Didn't conduct business today and won't be coming back. Tip for the owner: maybe you don't have to be as friendly as your employee, but at least try to be somewhat accomodating to the few customers you do get. I won't be coming back. read more

Omg the lady working in there was so amazing and helpful! She was able to help me fit a corset that my other half absolutely loved. She was able to work around my wearable medical device with care and empathy. They have many products and a great selections in all sizes! Decent prices compared to what I have seen online- but you don't have to have it shipped! read more

Knowledgeable folks that are very friendly and happy to help! Excellent selection of lingerie, impact play equipment, and more!

my dom and I came in to get an outfit and Miss Diva was absolutely spectacular. She made my experience here feel so welcoming and fun and made me feel so sexy in an outfit she picked out for me that was PERFECT we couldn't not buy it. Will definitely be coming back if not just to see Miss Diva! read more

Monique is awesome. She provided the best customer service. Love this place. Great product. So fun.

Loving the new location in Everett! Lovers Lair has long been our go-to for BDSM gear and apparel! They have something for all our needs... from lingerie, toys, leather, whips and chains, to a large selection of Latex! Everything we've purchased over the years has been top quality and a great price. Staff has always been welcoming and helpful. read more

Another trip to this shop! It wasn't busy so Monique (and Tanya) spent time discussing different products with me, helping me decide on my purchases. They never judge, and I'm very comfortable here. Awesome staff and a highly recommended stop! read more

The minute I walked in and met Miss Debra I knew I was among my people! She was friendly and super helpful. I bought two pair of panties and wish I could get them all. I love this store! I will definitely be back to see Miss Debra and buy more sexy lingerie. read more

just wanted to start out by saying, I've never left a review for anything in my life. That being said, my wife and I went to the Everett location on Monday and got there ten minutes before closing, I knew we were cutting it close but knew basically what we wanted. When the door was unlocked I said hello, and my very cheerful wife said hello as well, we were issued a stern, "store closed in ten, minutes" I'm like ok, she went to look at some stuff real quick and we ended up purchasing a blue kangaroo, and I bottle of rush. We paid and left and we both said to each other that was weird, I summed it up as we got there late. So this evening we went back and got there maybe around 8:45. We were greeted with the same bad additude, and he was very short, this time we came much earlier to browse. Once again, we greeted him a hello, and the same lackadaisical attitude, he had the enthusiasm of a popped balloon, so we kinda summed it up as maybe another bad night for him. So my wife saw some samples and asked the guy, "what's the price of these packets of lube" his response had me ask him if he was joking my wife said nothing. He told us to grab a few packs and leave, he didn't have time for us. We asked a question, I was embarrassed as was my wife, we had come in earlier today so that we could browse and make a few purchases (lingerie, a toy, and a pill), I'm sorry he did not have time for us, we are both beginners and had a question, did not expect to get kicked out over a question, can't rate because was not given the chance to look, highly doubt I will go back, which kinda sucks because we both work late and they are the only store open until 10pm and the only one we can make it to. read more

Cool little shop :) it's got that overstocked, splitting at the seams feel you get at a Castro shop. I love that. There's plenty to look at and it's all very tasteful. It doesn't feel creepy or dirty and they always have what I like when I go in there. The person behind the counter and their coworker (?) whom I've seen once, are very nice. Check it out and be sex positive :) read more

First impressions: A bit ominous, LOTS OF FUN STUFF, packaging/broken/taped up products?, no customer service, starring from employee very creepy. Bought a "product" and so far so good, no evidence of product being opened/used. read more

I've been to adult toy stores from Germany all the way to Miami to Seattle, and I'll have to say when it comes to the quality of the products on the shelves this store takes the cake, they have true bdsm gear, this stuff can handle some serious "use". very helpful and accommodating staff, prices can be a bit steep on some of the higher end products however you have to remember in this section "you get what you pay for" literally rings true, so I'd say the prices are actually fair for the quality your getting. read more

heard great things so i went to check the place out, it was very ominous there were no employees or customers in the store and no music or anything playing. i was browsing near the front and an older man walked out from the back i think and rushed to the door and kept looking around, like he was watching out for something. he kept staring directly at me, i left and he followed me outside to my car, he walked around it and i think even took down my plate and was staring at me as i left. made me very uncomfortable, trafficking vibes. read more

I recently came to Lover's Lair for an e-stim workshop with Max Cameron and had an incredible time; left me feeling energized in more ways then one! After the class I hit the store and was blown away by the selection and quality of products. It was vividly apparent that this store is not run by someone who is trying to just move product but by people who are super kinky and understands what a great toy or piece of clothing is and what isn't. read more

I'm not accustomed to shopping in adult shops that cater primarily to heterosexual clientele. So I was extremely pleased to find a wide array of "serious" sex and BDSM toys as well as the sexy wardrobe items. I was pleased to take a couple of them home, and will be even more pleased to use them on certain a lucky victim. Max's workshops are excellent. He is an organized and engaging instructor, careful with consent when demonstrating skills and scenes. His style and knowledge will keep me coming back. read more

Oh my God !!!!!This place is so freaking awesome!!!!!! This is by far better than any place I've even been to even in Seattle! We came here to look for toys but also for some leather catsuits and outfits and lingerie we were so amazed by everything that they had to offer it was decently priced and the quality is just outstanding! I got a diamond anal plug, a beautiful made corset of black Platinum leather a beautifully made royal blue wig they have a dungeon here and a ton of bondage items I think that the leather Spike necklaces used for bondage were my absolute favorite! I am so impressed with the store we were so excited to find it I highly highly recommend shopping here. read more

My favorite shop north of Seattle!! Has everything the BDSM enthusiast could possibly dream up!! From thumpy impact toys to a wide array of sensation toys!! Max's workshops are some of the best I've attended, as well. Great way to meet other kinksters and fetish seekers! The thing I love the most: Everyone, who practices affirming acceptance, is welcome!! It feels safe... like home. Tonya, despite the stern exterior, always puts a smile on my face and Lady Linda always leaves me wet and smiling!! read more

I have been shopping at Lovers Lair for almost 20 years. The best selection of authentic BDSM gear and clothing around! Leather, latex and everything in between! To say Lady Linda is a pillar in the local Leather/Kink/BDSM community would be an understatement. She's as welcoming to the curious newcomer as she is to her more experienced longtime patrons, and she graciously opens her doors for (much needed) education and parties every month. And Tanya! Tanya is always so helpful! Her knowledge, experience and expertise is unmatched. As for the negative review below, don't believe everything you read. The instructor in question (Max) is one of the most kind, considerate and conscientious men you will ever meet - not to mention an incredible instructor. If you have questions or concerns about him - ask him. He's openly talked about the situation for years. read more

This is an adult toy and novelty store. The employee on duty is helpful , but not overbearing. This would be a fun place to choose novelty items for a bachelorette party. Also , everyone is treated with respect, and employees here know that some customers are reticent. These smaller stores can offer better customer service; this is more of a boutique ; not a franchise , but a woman owned enterprise. This isn't to be confused with the chain of stores with a similar name. The business owner has a great sense of humor and understands people. read more

Absolutely my favorite sex store to goto! They own lots and LOTS of variety and staff is more than wonderful there. I recommend this store to anyone that goes! read more

In case you're on the lookout for some new toys to keep you busy during our 2020 Seattle 'stay home, stay safe' period, Lover's Lair offers both curbside pickup and will ship you items from their website. Came here after visiting a couple sex shops and let me say that we were so surprised by the variety of things and merchandise here. There were so many things we hadn't seen in many other shops. The store owner was great and very helpful. Sometimes you worry that the owner may be creepy but I found him respectful and attentive. Definitely worth the visit and my husband was very grateful I went read more

What a fantastic shop! Some of the most high quality bdsm toys I've laid hands on and workshops!! Super enjoyed Max's! I'll be back! :)

I showed up during store hours as I'm walking up the owner is putting up a "back in 15 mins" he rolls his eyes and is like "oh great" as if me showing up was offensive...I just kind of stood there because as someone who works in customer service I would have never responded to a customer like that. As I'm standing there the owner turns around and yells "get the fuck in then!" ..... seriously almost cried lol idk why anyone would act so rudely. I'm a bikini barista in the area and was hoping that this would be my regular stop for outfits. read more

Last night was my first time in Lover's Lair, and I've got to say, I was impressed by the sheer amount of BDSM paraphernalia they have. That being said, however, there was very little else to impress us there. The clothing selection is extensive, and my girlfriend bought my a pair of panties and some stockings...nothing extravagant. However, when we got home, we noticed there was a hole (a rather large hole, actually) in the back of the panties...obviously, we should have inspected them a bit more closely before joyously buying them. This, however, wasn't the biggest problem. When I called, asking to exchange them, I was told flat-out that, no, there was no way they'd exchange them. But, I said, if they were purchased accidentally ripped, won't you even look at them? After all, it's not as if I ecstatically romped through an orgy in them...I'd simply taken them out, inspected them, and realized they were faulty. So. It should be a simple exchange, right? Wrong. The front desk clerk who answered the phone was snotty (as she had been the night before) and said they wouldn't even look at them. Well, great. The service at Lover's (formerly Lover's Package) has always been exponentially better, even if their kink stock isn't quite as high. I'll be going back again, but cautiously. I'll definitely CLOSELY inspect absolutely everything before buying. read more

Lover's Lair is closed up due to the Pandemic, but I was still able to order items from their online store. Checkout was easy, and I'm delighted with my new toys - they'll make my alone time at home much more fun. I love supporting this locally owned, woman owned store. And I see they're doing curbside pickup now - I may do that next time! read more

This is a great little adult shop that is somewhat hidden. They have a nice selection, especially when it comes to lingerie and fetish wear/gear. They have stuff for people of all sizes, which is very nice. The staff is great - always friendly and helpful. The prices here are comparable to other mainstream adult shops, and I find that if other shops don't have something then they probably have it here. read more

Okay, so there's a damn good selection of things here, mostly clothing and BDSM gear from what I perused. I was a bit (a lot) distracted by the noises coming from the back room while I was browsing and was a bit (a lot) relieved to find that it was coming from a video, not an actual person back there. I found the prices to be reasonable, the person working asked if I needed help and when I said no, they left me alone (which I prefer) and I would go back anytime to pick up that little (or not so little) something for those more... ahem...specialty items I tend to need from time to time. Parking out front, right next to a few thrift stores so make a day of shopping and stop in here to get yourself (or someone) a treat. read more

Personal, small space with a large selection. Great quality merchandise and speciality leather area. You can feel the kink level when stepping into the door, these folks are passionate about what they offer ;) read more

I frequent this place for their large selection of toys and lingerie that I can't find at other corporate chain stores. They have a lot of BDSM gear at affordable prices (as most of the time, they are suuuper expensive at other stores), which is really neat. Linda and Tanya are very helpful, although Tanya is more reserved (nothing at all wrong with that, she is very nice :) ) Every month or so, this place hosts a fetish night and classes, which are all very fun and informative. Definitely check em out. read more

Horrible customer service. The guy behind the counter said one word to me- 'yup,' when I asked him if the lube they had out (a very small selection) was all they had. Place smelled like smoke. Horrible selection. I won't ever come back. Worst adult store I've ever been in. read more

Everything I've wanted to see, or imagined in sex shops, I've found at lovers lair! This place has opened doors for me that no other place has. So many more options and great quality toys. OTHER sex shops are just cheep and usually staff thinks they are educated. But not this place. Everything you need or are curious about they will be happy to help find you anything to suit your needs. Thanks Lady Linda and Tanya read more

Awesome store!! Such a good selection and the employee was super helpful and non-judgements.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was impressed with the variety of sizes available. Great place for larger sizes. The prices were considerably lower than the other competitors. They also had a large BDSM gear selections (a must see) AND they also have private parties during after hours... so get on their mailing list! Love this place. read more
