A friend of hers had suggested she should start off getting a full face of foundation. I asked Ava for help and she was so wonderful! She sweetly told my daughter that her skin is beautiful and she doesn't need foundation but instead gently suggested an under eye concealer and helped us pick additional products that my daughter wanted at each step telling her that she has so much natural beauty and is she wanted a little bit more highlighting this would be a good choice. For a child that has struggled with her image as many girls at her age I am so appreciative that Ava not only helped build her confidence to remind my daughter that she is beautiful but helped suggest sensible products.

Not sure why I'm even writing a review for here since most of you won't ever be able to shop here…read moresince they require a professional license to be able to enter. Maybe I really like my supplier, maybe I just need to review more places to complete my Yelp 100 annual challenge. But on a more serious note, this is my go to place where they carry most of the brands I work with. The manager is extremely helpful and nice, it's quite rare to see anybody loyal in retail for this long to know the store inside and out and recognize their customers. Most stores are busiest on weekends, funny thing is that this store is busiest on weekdays when most hairstylists are off. They are open early enough to drop in before work if you need an emergency item the day off, but I recommend ordering online if you're going to do a huge inventory since you'll probably get hit the minimum for free shipping and more likely everything will be available ordering directly from the warehouse. This was pre-COVID, probably 10 months ago. Goldwell, always out of colors and always the same colors. You'd think they'd figured that out and fix that problem. Now let me start with staff. They're the rudest most unfriendly I've ever encountered with the exception of one. I now only go when I need to. I've opened wholesale accounts with most lines that would let me. Some won't allow it because Cosmoprof is their distributor.

Food items such as candy, nuts, snacks, coffee gift sets, and other packaged treats are about 30% off. The store wasn't very busy, but most of the popular gift sets were already gone. I was hoping to find some clothing, blankets, or Christmas socks, but nope--completely wiped out. I didn't even see any Christmas cards or gift wrap left. We also returned a gift we got from a white elephant exchange. Even though we didn't have the receipt, they just ask to check for our ID. The return was super easy. They just gave us a gift card for it.

I'm not sure if Ulta is maintaining the same margins selling items from suppliers or what but an item just a few years ago that was $5 is now $9.90. Little adjustments like this on everything add up. Friendly service but cannot go with 5 stars when costs of things are jumping up due to us paying tariffs on all of these goods from outside the US!

A very gracious staff person, Yuka, served us espresso graciously; we had skipped lunch thinking it would be a quick trip -- but Yuka heard us and found some delicious cookies for us, which we really appreciated...kept us from giving up and leaving the store. She also learned that we did not know about the perfume line and took a thoughtful moment to introduce us to the possibility of some new scents. When at last we received an associate's help it was Nikita. She helped us look at half a dozen different bags and wallets that we had scoped out in advance. There was a beautiful little cream colored lambskin with gold colored chain, but budget did not permit that one to come home with us. However we bonded with the new Slouchy design -- the shape was beautiful and size was just right for carrying my 13" MacBook Air. It was interesting to see more of the clothing line that was available, especially the jeans with the LV on the back pocket, and good to see the shoes as well as the perfume stand. Everything about the service was excellent as possible. Parking is validated, or valet is $7 in the Bravern parking lot.
