I've had last lifts before that kinked my lashes in a weird way and expressed this concern to her, also how I have sensitive eyes. She was very confident that she could get me a lash lift with no kinks and no reaction and she was right! The process is relaxing. It's really comfortable and the space really is lovely. I basically just rested and chatted with her the whole appointment. This is easily the best lash lift I've ever had! My lashes look so good! Will def be back to Mackenzie soon!

I felt it necessary to update this since the owner chose to respond with a blatant lie. At no point…read morewas I ever informed that all communication moving forward had to be scheduled only with her. What actually happened was that I felt repeatedly dismissed and given conflicting information by different members of her team. Only after I specifically requested several times to be seen by the acne specialist--who is also the owner--did she finally step in. As stated, working with her was my goal from the beginning since that was who I was referred to, yet I was continuously scheduled with others. I've reviewed my texts and there is no message from you stating that, due to my supposed "treatment" of your staff, I was only to communicate with you directly. That claim is false. Throughout this process, I maintained a respectful and professional attitude. I will not be bullied into accepting a narrative that paints me as "difficult" or "disrespectful" when the truth is I was misled into spending money on products that weren't right for me. Yes, I declined further phone calls--but only because after multiple calls filled with misinformation and mix-ups, I preferred to have written records of all communication. If necessary, I am more than willing to share screenshots that prove exactly how inaccurate your version of events is. Because despite what you're saying I handled things with the upmost respect and was nothing but kind to you and your staff the only disrespectful thing I did was not answer your phone call. I also told your staff multiple times that I was open to swapping or adding any products needed--just let me know what was best. Instead, I was given inconsistent input depending on who I saw/spoke to that day. At the end of the day, I'm thankful I chose not to continue being shuffled around and misinformed. Moving on to a new salon that genuinely cares about their clients has made a huge difference in my journey.

Not sure if this bald lady was racist against white people but her customer service was trash and her demeanor was not welcoming or helpful at all. This store in particular is great because the staff is very patient and full of recommendations. I love the setup of this store. It's rather snug but they did a great job of laying all items out in an easy to shop way. Plus the motorcycle at the entrance is just super bad ass! My favorite go to items: damage repairing & rehydrating leave in treatment ($25); mango/mint/pear really all of the flavors of their lip gloss ($10). While I agree that the prices are a bit steep, the quality is so great! They have great deals around the holidays with their gift baskets, so be sure to check them out!

The business's policies and communication have been confusing and unprofessional. The disclaimer…read morestates that if a deposit is not paid, an appointment will not be booked. However, I was able to book an appointment without paying the $50 deposit. Later, I received text messages stating that I could not schedule any future appointments until I paid the deposit because I had allegedly missed an appointment, but not thinking that it was actually booked until I paid it! This creates unnecessary confusion and miscommunication about whether the deposit is actually required. If the deposit is mandatory, the booking system should consistently enforce that policy, and not allow you to book without payment! I also do not appreciate being contacted through personal text messages regarding an alleged balance. If the business believes I owe a fee, I would expect a formal invoice or written documentation through the appropriate business channels. Repeated text messages requesting payment are not a professional way to handle billing matters. Definitely will take my 450.00 elsewhere!

Here was my experience: I came in for a gel manicure and asked for a French tip design. I will say that the design looked nice, and it was the design that I requested. However, within 1.5 hours of leaving the salon, I noticed that the polish on one of my pinkies had chipped! Normally, I would go right back to the salon, so they could fix it. However, I was catching a flight. Thus, I was rushing around a bit afterwards to get to the airport on time, but I have gotten gel manicures many times before, and this is the first time it chipped so quickly. I came in with someone else, and she had even said she was concerned about her nails chipping because they only put one coat of polish. I guess I was case in point. I called and spoke with them; they requested pictures and took down my number. I did talk to a manager the next day about my experience. However, the manager reiterated multiple times that they do not offer any refunds. Normally, this would be fine, and I would go back in to get them fixed. However, I was only visiting Washington and visit sporadically (not even once per year). All she could offer was a discount or to work something out the next time I visit. I am certainly not hoping that anything will come of this, but I do hope they address this issue in the future so that other people's nails don't chip so quickly, especially because this salon is not cheap. With other nail salon options in the area and given my experience, I will likely not be back. I did give them 3 stars because they at least tried to address the issue (though not satisfactorily) and I did like my nail design. However, given the cost, I would rather go elsewhere in the future.

She did talk with a co-worker, so I know she was not mute. The salon needs to do a better job in training their employees on customer service. Otherwise, the service was good and I was satisfied with the pedicure. I will not be going back to this salon.
