While in this with, I also picked up a seasonal bath bomb because there's almost always something new and fun to try! They smell so good, don't irritate the skin, and often have biodegradable glitter effects! The store staff are friendly and helpful as I need it (without following people around), and they often have fun events or other things going on - recently is was sensory bags newly available for the kiddos who may become overstimulated in the store. She made the impossible POSSIBLE and I cannot thank her enough for putting everything together. I came here as a part of a birthday surprise from my husband. We drove out of our way. We were aggressively corrected for touching samples. I understand covid practice and being safe, but if you have no signs and then put samples out people are going assume you can touch them. Lush always has put sample out for touching and using. I had a great experience at Lush yesterday. The 2 customer service people that I spoke with were warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. The selection of products is extensive. It smells really good walking in. I love that Lush does NOT test any of its products on animals, and that Lush is even actively fighting against animal testing. When I mentioned to one of the customer service people that I noticed and appreciated this, they knew all about the specifics of how Lush is involved with that. I came in for foot cream, and found a great peppermint foot cream. It smelled minty, but it was a subtle, more natural mint smell - which I would expect from Lush. I also picked up a small chocolate-honey heart-shaped massage bar for only $10 that had a very subtle chocolate aroma. I recommend stopping by this location for a great product selection, a sweet-smelling shopping experience, and quality customer service. read more

I had a question, so I called the store and happened to get the manager Stacy on the phone. Not only did she answer my question, but she also gave me other super helpful information that I was not at all aware of. I wasn't aware that the mall was opened back up yet due to COVID--I thought that curbside pickup was still the only option--so I was asking about pickup, and Stacy told me that since the mall has opened back up for customers, LUSH wasn't doing curbside pickup anymore but "if you'd still like us to, we can absolutely bring your purchases out to the curb for you". She also told me that if I needed to, I could still order items on the app and come into the store to pick up my order and it would be all ready to go and waiting for me. I told her that if I'm off work early enough tonight, I'd stop by to buy the items I was looking for. And then on top of that, she also told me "our store closes at THIS time, but the workers don't leave until THIS time, so if you give us a call after we're closed we can still bring the items out to you"! Absolutely EXCELLENT customer service! Lush products are going to be the same regardless of the store front you go into. This location though is considerably more spacious then other ones. The staff has a lot more sinks & space to expo the products. The shopping experience here is less in your face or squished into a small storefront. The team here is rad. They tend to be spot on with recommendations and some are life long lushies so it's always fun to commiserate about our past favorite products. My friend who purchased some items was chatting with me about how sore I was from a workout and James instantly told me what to use, took me over there and gave me a free sample! Like woah! This location had the toner I love in stock. That never happens at other locations!! I was able to walk in, immediately find what I was looking for, pay, and I get out of there before anyone could try to sell me some new amazing product that I totally would have compulsively purchased. Lush has amazing face scrubs, spray toners, and fresh face masks. Their bath bombs are so beautiful that I never want to actually use them. Not many people know, but they also have a super sexy chocolate massage bar, with Shea butter and chunks of actual chocolate inside. I really love Lush. The bath bombs are so great. My faves are Sex Bomb, Pink and Softy. They are these balls of baking soda and natural, organic goodness like flowers and minerals that you toss into the bath while it's running that dye the water sometimes and will fill your nostrils with wonderful fragrance. Add a luxury bath melt and it's pure heaven. The shower scrubs, shampoos, massage bars and lip balms are also the bomb. The make up is strange to me, and I avoid it. The sales people are really in your face. They mean well, but they are on you every minute and insist on doing hands-on demos. I gave in once and I was at the mercy of this super zealous brunette who went through 3 products before I was able to escape her grasps. I've been a fan of Lush since my first time at a store in Vancouver, BC in 2001. I drive from Seattle to Vancouver occasionally, and I'd always stop in to Lush when possible. Then the Portland store opened, then the one in Bellevue, then finally the store in Tukwila. It's great to visit Lush so close by! Don't scare me off, salespeople! read more

I have only ever been to a Lush store twice in my life. The first time was a couple months ago, when my friend introduced their shampoo bar to me. Today I came in to purchase another one as well as a hair treatment since the conditioner I bought seemed to be drying. I wandered on in and hugged the walls looking for their shampoo bars. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but being relatively new to their company I was still unsure of what to get. Katrina walked up to me and asked me how I was doing and if I needed any help. She asked me a few questions to get the general idea of what I might be looking for. She was so extremely knowledgeable, helpful and extremely friendly. I came here to purchase birthday gifts today & while trying to carry a handful of things my mask accidentally slipped down my nose ( nose was still covered) A very condescending red head physically put her hands on me to have me adjust my mask( with over 6 products in hand I tried my best) I'm six months pregnant & last time I checked we're in the middle of a pandemic. I came in here a few weeks ago in need of some Shimmy Shimmy. If you have not tried Shimmy Shimmy it is a lotion bar that smells great .... downside... has a ton of glitter! Tristan, a Lush associate was standing right by the Shimmy Shimmy and we struck up a conversation. He directed me to the Valentine scents and in particular, Prince Charming. I had a fantastic experience in lush today! I feel bad because I didn't catch her name but employee 1008777 (according to my receipt) was fabulous! She spent probably 45 min with me, let me smell literally every single one of the body wash scents....more than once; told me about the details of every scent and even game me suggestions. She offered me samples to try at home, of a few products, aside from the one I decided to purchase. She was extremely pleasant to be around and made you feel at home while remaining professional and informative. I truly enjoyed her, and am grateful for the above and beyond service she provided me and my friends. Props also to the store for their fantastic job of keeping Covid out of the store. The do not allow you to remove your mask to smell products which for the most part is not a problem seeing as you can smell the store from the other side of the mall and as mentioned above she gave me some samples to try at home of the ones that were a little more difficult to smell. There is a hand washing station that they give you samples of their delicious soaps to test out as you was your hands before entering the store! Great job guys, I felt safe being in your shop! I had the best experience at LUSH this past weekend. I went to restock on some things and also try a new product. I wasn't immediately approached by an employee which was nice, I had to time walk around first and kinda figure things out. When an employee did approach me, she was super nice and not overbearing. She was super helpful in identifying the type of product I was wanting. She then introduced me to Andrea (?, hopefully I got the spelling right). Andrea really provided some great information on more products and gave me a few samples to try out. She was very patient and invested in my skin care routine be the best it could be. As with most Lush stores, I am almost always overwhelmed by overly-aggressive employees. I had the worst experience here tonight. All I wanted was to be left alone for a few minutes to look around and shop. I had already told them that yes, I am familiar with the products and have used them before. Yet I constantly had someone on back commenting on everything and trying to push sales. I had a gift card so I went in knowing I was going to make a purchase. But I also rarely use these types of products anymore. I do not like products with added scents - I stick with basic such as extra virgin coconut oil and grapeseed oil when it comes to skin care. I makes my own scrubs with oil and sugars. I use unscented lotions. I told the sales associate this but I do not think she understood it and kept pushing items on me. But in the end my my husband ended up picking out some soap that we both agreed we liked. They really need to allow the customer to walk around and experience the items for themselves. There is nothing wrong with a greeting and asking if you need assistance but please give the customer space. read more

Dear lush, I love you. I really do, but going into your stores have now become such a hassle I'm really on the fence about if your product is worth the time, money and effort. Everyone else has gone over your awesome stuff, cruelty free, recycled packaging ect. There are two huge problems I have with you guys. 1. The tubs. Yes,recycled. Yes,cost effective. Yes, a pain in the ass to use in the shower. I have to decant almost every product I purchase into a squeeze tube or pump. That way I can get the most use out of the product I just spent 40$ on. And it doesn't get diluted by the water from my shower. (I'm looking at you sea salt scrub.) I'm already spending a lot, add on an extra couple bucks so I don't have to go to the hassle of changing the vessel would go along way. 2. The hard sell. I'm clearly not the only one. Some times i like to just go in and get the one thing I need. Instead of being attacked as soon I walk in the door. I would like to make my own decisions on what I purchase not some chick with a nose piercing. It really makes me feel uncomfortable going into your stores. It was my 1st time there because I am starting to get into all natural products and thought I would give Lush a try. Sierra greeted me at the door with a big smile and asked if I needed any assistance. I told her it was my 1st time there and was looking around for shampoo and conditioner bars. She described the benefits of the products and helped me find a shampoo and conditioner which would help my dry scalp. She also give me some facial mask samples. She made my 1st time experience such an enjoyable one that I'm looking forward to my 2Nd trip. I tried the shampoo and was amazed it lathered up so quickly and had so much bubbles! I didn't think my hair could be clean because the soap washed off so easily so I washed my hair again. I only ran the soap under water for about 3-5 seconds and it lathered up so quickly. I tried the conditioner bar n felt that I couldn't get the conditioner throughly over my whole hair because I have such thick and long hair but when I blew dry my hair, it felt smooth and nice! This place just recently opened at the Southcenter mall in January 2012 and I can tell it'll be a big staple. I've heard so many great things about Lush, so I decided to check it out. Now, most Lush store reviews include "... but the staff was too pushy." or "... trapped in a bath bomb demonstration." I can understand that since I did accidentally find my way into the Lush store in Bellevue a couple years back and was bombarded with employees trying to explain to me why their products were so amazing when all I wanted to do was look at all the pretty colored soaps. After a long, harsh day at work today, I decided I'd finally give in and get some bath essentials so that I could relax and soak the day away. I was greeted by an employee at the door but was too focused on my mission that I hardly even noticed he was there until he saw that I was looking at the sunny-side bath bar. "You and everyone else that comes in here wants that bar!" I liked his sense of humor and I know he was trying to persuade me into buying other things but didn't push too hard, especially after he heard that it was my first time at Lush and that this would be the first time I'd taken a bath since I was a tyke. "No way, shut up! You're going to have to come back and pamper yourself some more!" He showed me some of the products that he preferred as a little side note on the way to the register but it was more informative than pushy. Can I just mention that I love the fact that he not only greeted me, helped me in my decision and talked about his own favorites but he walked me up to the register AND was the one to do my transaction. I ordered online, got the email it was ready to be picked up and drove thirty minutes to my nearest location. Upon arriving at the store it was pitch black and closed off. I looked around and didn't see anyone or any signage posted that might help inform a customer of their whereabouts or intentions. Two other customers who looked flustered and must of been there for awhile had made several attempts to call the number given in the email for pickup. I assumed they might be on a lunch break so I went next door to Bath & Bodyworks to pick up some more hand soaps and sanitizers. Came back and still nothing. About five minutes later a mall cop came over and asked what we were waiting for. After talking to him he talked to someone over the radio and then informed us that Lush had called whoever is in charge of the mall and closed for the day. If you're going to close up shop for the day out of nowhere at least put up a sign to let your customers know rather than leaving them in the dark. I love Lush but I'm very frustrated with them today and I might just have to stick with just shipping to home from now on. read more
