I went into this lovers store today, where my girlfriend and I typically go to for this kind of stuff. We walked in, and were greeted by the employee, we went about our usual browsing, and looking around, I had noticed the employee working at the time constantly staring and watching us as we walked around the store, which I felt was normal until another couple came in, which he then immediately came up to us, and said to please stop recording to my girlfriend, we were both shocked and confused and said "what?" because she wasn't recording, and after she told him she wasn't recording he proceeded to insist that we were and that he saw us recording when we came in, and after I told him multiple times that I think it's a misunderstanding and that we were not recording he continued to try and prove that we were stating random stuff about phones, even after showing him her photos showing we hadn't recorded, instead of accepting the whole situation as a misunderstanding he constantly insisted that she was recording, my main issue with this is how the whole situation could have been avoided if the employee would have understood it was a misunderstanding when we had originally told him she wasn't recording. Employee was white guy with a pattern tattoo on his forearm with a beard, I'm just really disappointed because we ended up just walking out of the store due to frustration of his persistence on us recording. Also I completely understood why he was asking to stop due to more customers coming in, it's just that we weren't!! read more

My husband and I have been to this location twice now and both times were great experiences. Same lady was at the cash register both visits; dark blonde with bangs. She gave GREAT advice on the pills in the cabinet at the register. We did exactly as she instructed and that worked great for us. Which is why we went back tonight to buy more. I also bought lingerie both times we visited this store. They have a nice selection and a fitting room. All around great experiences and customer service. Classy, professional and comfortable. My wife and I have been to this Lovers location about half a dozen times over the last four years, and we've never had a bad experience. The sales clerks are very knowledgeable, respectful, and open about the products they carry and how to use them. As a same-sex couple, we are nervous every time we enter a business unsure where we might encounter discrimination, but at Lovers, we've never even seen a clerk flinch at our sexual orientation, we feel like any other couple, which is a huge deal. Sooooooo... the hubby and wandered in after dinner and seeing the 40% off Yelp offer. We can find something and we did find a few treats. The 2 people who were working in the store were super nice. The reason for the 3 stars was because we had a yelp offer and not a paper coupon we couldn't use the offer. We bought 3 things regular price and 1 on sale. I get it with the sale item but the other higher priced item. That was disappointing. read more

Even after 30+ years of marriage (and in spite of having a drawer-full of bedroom toys), my wife and I are always open to scoping out new things. Even though we live thirty miles away from this location (and have a Lover's literally around the corner from our home), we found ourselves in Issaquah recently, and decided to stop in. We were met by Hannah, the store manager, and her assistant, Charlotte, both of whom were very friendly and attentive. Hannah took great care to provide expert insight regarding a variety of vibes, and even went so far as to recommend to my wife that she delay a purchase until a (near) future date so that we could take advantage of a store-wide 20% discount. Needless to say, we heartily recommend this store to anyone seeking open, honest and extremely professional customer service in this "arena"-- you will not be disappointed! read more

I visit this shop frequently :) and I have to say, every time I visit, it is a pleasure. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. The sales people have gotten to know me and the products I am interested in. They always spend the time to show me new items. Every time I visit, they ask me how I liked my previous purchase, and steer me in new directions. The price of their products range from inexpensive to expensive, and to me the level of service from this store far exceeds that of any other business I frequent in the area. The staff here was so wonderful and helpful. Dana came in on a Saturday when she wasn't even scheduled to work, and her attitude was still so positive it was contagious. She wasn't forceful or aggressive as a sales rep, but through organic conversation, she was incredibly helpful and informative. She genuinely wanted to meet my needs as a customer, and I enjoyed my time chatting with her as just another human being! I usually buy online so I was super nervous and felt weird going in to buy me and my wife a new vibrator but Dana was professional, friendly and educated. I rate this store very highly for a number of reasons: - knowledgeable sales staff - excellent range of products from affordable to exotically priced - merchandising is very well done - in fact, I think it's arranged for women's tastes - sensitivity of the staff. The store manager (wish I could remember her name) is particularly good at fielding questions that in any other situation would be awkward at the very best. During my first visit (as an adult male old enough to be her father) I was beating around the bush trying to find the words that I could use to tell her what I wanted. She looked me in the eye and waited for me to get comfortable and then didn't flinch when I described my search in reasonably specific terms. She immediately had three or four suggestions for me to consider. This is not some seedy back-alley porn shop. In fact, I'm not sure they have porn.
