We went to a few stores locally in South Florida to get an idea of prices and to discover what we liked. One store was very accommodating and was even running a big sale. Prices had gone up dramatically since we'd last purchased a new mattress. It was a bit of sticker shock. . After getting an idea of what was available and what we'd have to pay, we decided to check out Costco.com to see what they offered. We found the same products and even brand names for a lot less online here. We made our selection easily and paid online. They delivered the new mattress right to the house a few days later. They removed the old mattress. They set up the new one. And there was no extra charge or fee. Easy peasy! read more

It's hard to link reviews sometimes for the appropriate business location. I guess Costco com doesn't truly have a physical location so I chose HQ,the brains of the operation. The beauty of ordering online is finding items that you may not necessarily find at your local warehouse. Besides finding these, shipping is free. During the holidays in looking at their mostly magazine, I noticed they offered a Thanksgiving themed food item made famous by the late football coach turned announcer John Madden. During the Thanksgiving broadcasts when he worked it, his crew would roll a tray of Turducken for the stars of the winning team to celebrate. I tried ordering just after Christmas in hopes of trying this for our family's New Year's meal but it was sold out. The consolation was that it was available for delivery in mid-January. I'd read that this recipe came from the bayou country of New Orleans. In doing a Google search, here's the description of the concept: The turducken is essentially a layered, multi-bird dish, often associated with Louisiana cuisine and the holidays. This is the corporate office for Costco - 999 Lake Drive. I'm surprised to see warehouse reviews here since the store is at 1801 10th Ave NW. But hey, that's Yelp for you. I have been a Costco member for over five years now. No problems at all with my local store or for any of the other two dozen I have been to from Boca Raton to Tulsa to Billings to Dallas and Indianapolis. Sometimes it's a quick stop for fuel and sometimes there's a full household shop. Easy system to understand and I'm a fan of enforcing membership cards at the door. My only complaint is that the only store I've been to that has a "no firearms" sign posted is the one nearest me in Charlotte. The other store in Charlotte has no such sign. Irritating. Dear Costco, I've been with you guys since price club days ... late 80s/ early 90s. Through my divorce, raising two kids, soccer, volleyball, Girl Scout days, family activities, sending kids to college, office supplies, televisions, mobile phones, sport snacks, dairy products, jackets, shoes, slippers, vitamins, famous Costco cakes...I can go on and on. Costco, you have been a huge part of my life and still semi in my life. Im wondering now, are you worth keeping. Getting charged an annual fee of $60 (went up again), just to find out that you're cutting corners, leading me to believe that your goal is to help me save money. You've been cheating on me ;( I get the cost of living, inflation, taxes, staff raises...and then making profit. But Costco, you need to stop raising your prices on products, especially the ones that are frequently purchased by consumers. Or, when keeping the price at same rate, but you are actually skimping on the quantity of the product making it appear we're getting a great deal. When I bought the Marathon 48 pack toilet paper, I said to myself, the price didn't change ($30) since I last made the same purchase in October 2024. I commented that when i picked up the TP pack and carried it over into the pushcart, it felt much lighter and looked smaller, as if it shrunked. I got home and started to stock up the rolls into all the bathroom drawers. I said to myself again, the roll is much smaller. Having just recover from 3+ days with no power , no heat , and all our fridge food went bad , we were indeed very sad upset astounded that a market leader like Costco would take advantage of the situation, to raise their Wilcox 24 pack eggs price by another 16.49% from before the cyclone storm $8.49 to $9.89 , very sad that a major market leader as Costco instead of contributing to the plight of the community took advantage of the situation to make more monies at the community expense for their overfilled coffers. Update: It took four phone calls to LG and two weeks of waiting to get a service technician to our house. After LG sent a service technician who looked at the TV, saw no external damage, and removed the back panel to take photos of the serial numbers inside, LG did not authorize him to then remove the screen to see whether a bulb had burst, and told him to consider it our fault that the TV broke, and that they wouldn't be replacing or refunding it. We then talked to a Costco manager in person, told her the situation, and she said without hesitation to bring it back and she would personally refund the entire amount onto a Costco gift card so we could buy a different TV. She was wonderful, and admitted their concierge service is not helpful, and that management really are the only ones who can help in these situations. So our faith was restored in Costco, and we're keeping our membership. Meanwhile, we informed LG that we were very unhappy with their decision to continue to sell TVs with a known design flaw, and that we would not be leaving kind reviews of their company, and they offered to please allow them to send another technician to do what should've been done the first time, that their own agents had told the first technician not to do, and they apologized profusely. So I guess the lesson here is to let LG know they will not be kindly reviewed across all possible review sites if they choose to not authorize a proper and thorough investigation into why the TV malfunctioned after less than a year. And the bigger lesson is to not buy any edge-lit TV. We purchased a higher-end LG TV from Costco eleven months ago and expected their five-year warranty to mean real protection. Instead, we discovered that Costco's policy shields them, not the consumer. After 90 days, Costco refuses to replace or refund any defective electronics -- even expensive models that stop working within the first year. Their "solution" is to contact the manufacturer about sending a technician, with no guarantee of when the visit will happen or whether the TV will actually be fixed. Meanwhile, you're left without the product you paid for. Costco advertises its "Concierge Service" as helpful warranty support, but in reality, they simply pass your issue to the manufacturer. They do not handle repairs or replacements directly, nor do they take responsibility for defective items. It's disappointing that Costco doesn't just accept defective returns and deal with the manufacturer themselves -- instead, they make loyal customers jump through hoops for a "maybe" repair. The manufacturer did not call or text as Costco concierge said they would, but instead emailed a phone number for us to call so they could help us troubleshoot, with no result. The screen was still completely black. They then told us we needed to send a photo to them to prove the TV screen was completely blank and black while turned on, and then gave us a list of local electronics repair companies to call for service, which means further work for us to determine which one might be reputable, and also more waiting for their availability. The manufacturer also gave no guarantees of replacement if the problem is not fixable. After reviewing the repair companies the manufacturer told us to call, one was a car mechanic business, one is far out of our local area, and one has very poor customer ratings. For a company that prides itself on member satisfaction, this policy is deeply misleading. Costco should stand behind what they sell, not hide behind technicalities that leave customers stranded. Costco is putting profit over customer satisfaction, and misleading customers to accomplish it. I'll wait for a response from Costco Corporate directly, before cancelling my thirty year membership, which has been for both business and personal purchases. Would have to get better just to suck. Ordered a new refrigerator from Costco in early December. They were going to come in the morning, didn't show up till the afternoon. When they were removing the old fridge (that I was going to keep) they damaged my house and the old fridge. Two holes in the drywall and damaged the front door. They left with the damaged old fridge and didn't stay long enough to deliver the new fridge. I have been asking Costco to fix this situation for two months and they pawn me off on the delivery company. I have paid for a new fridge which I don't have, and have spoiled food and a damaged house. It has been too long, I'm taking them to small claims court because they refuse to rectify this situation. *Beware of their diamond return policy* It seems their 100% no question asked return has some huge caveats on diamond. My wife stopped wearing her ring a while ago and remembering when we bought her ring we were told we can return it any time if it's unaltered. So I decided to buy another ring for her. However when we tried to return the old ring we were denied "at their discretion". So it seems now they may not honor their return policy (I suspect it's related to current diamond market). I go here by virtue of convenience. The quality of their produce has improved the last few years. I remember returning apples that were brown years ago. Most of the time, they keep their goods stocked but be aware that they move things around often. And if you find something that you like, you may not find it again - ever. I found some crepe mix and I've never seen it again. They also carry some seasonal things as well. The checkout line can be ridiculously long, as in - "you-can-read-a-chapter-of-a-book" long, but depending on the cashier, it can go fast. Oh, speaking of lines - the line for the gas can be a drag. I suggest going in the morning. I can finish my coffee by the time it's my turn to pump. Ha! I would love to see my variety in their veggies. I get tired of cucumber, corn, mushrooms, squash, lettuce -- that's basically what they carry all.the.time. The 3 * was mainly for the bakery department. Is it just my old eyes? I bought a cake that was lopsided and the frosting in the middle was not evenly distributed. You know when people put 'love' into what they do...and this time, it wasn't there. It just feels like they just plopped the batter and frosting and move on to the next batch. Ok. I get it, they probably have to make 200 of these babies! I have bought things such as groceries, dog pads and treats, a desktop computer, patio furniture, a camera, a drone, a washer and dryer, bed sheets, printer ink, a television, etcetera. I think that their products are a high quality and have a low price. Delivery for most products has gone smoothly. For the washer and dryer, the delivery people did not balance the machines, and they caused a leak in a gas pipe in my laundry room! I wrote to Costco about the gas leak, which I needed to have repaired by a plumber, and I never heard from Costco. For that reason, I will deduct 0.5 stars from my review. read more

Customer Service desk BLOWS Was at Costco Issaquah this afternoon to pick up some items. Started as a very enjoyable visit, saw a dear friend and was able to catch up. Purchased out items via the self checkout service great process fast and simple. Dropped off our items at the car realized we wanted to purchase another item that was going off coupon sale today so quickly returned to purchase another to find out they were all out. No big deal so visited the customer service desk and was told that Tukwilla and Aurora had the item. Drove to Aurora and they had just sold out. No big deal again. The customer service gentleman told me not to worry as they would be receiving more this week and that the sale price would be honored until 5/21. WTF why didn't the issaquah store not share this info? They are after all at the Costco Corporate Headquarters. Avoid using a Costco for COVID shots/boosters. They are so disorganized and mismanaged. I had to deal with a an extremely incompetent and uncompassionate pharmacy and needed to get the state health department involved. I recently booked a cruise on Norwegian cruise lines thru Costco travel. A dream vacation so I thought! When I got onto the ship & went to order my first drink I found that Costco never included any packages that are normally included when you book with Norwegian Haven! When I booked this with them, they never asked if I wanted any packages! They asked me if I wanted Wi-Fi & never bothered asking about any drink or dining packages! Needless to say while I was on the ship, if I wanted to add these packages, it would have cost an extra $900.00! Since it already cost me $7,600 I was not going to spend another $900.00! I park, grab a cart, walk in, flash the corporate membership card to the hall pass monitor at the front of the store, and spend an hour inside the store pricing out large quantities of bulk beers, salty snacks, and other things this lifestyle requires to be purchased and stored in bulk around the mancave when you are going balls deep on Fallout 4 on the xbone to relax after another round of depositions on a personal injury case. I pull up with the shopping cart at the register and wait in the long line to check out. Finally it is my turn. The guy swipes my membership card and then lets me know our membership expired. Ok, great. I still get to check out tho, right? WRONG. Guy says I can't check out since I don't have an active membership. Da fuq? I was there wanting to spend money on a full cart of stuff and Costco can't do a brother a solid by letting him check out this one last time, and then telling him not to come back until the membership has been restored? The employees started reading every ticket number except mine. I waited until 12 more orders were called (the customers that came after and placed orders after me) before going up to the pickup window to ask an employee where my order was. They forgot.. one of the employees was nice and asked me to wait a minute and immediately fulfilled my orders before anyone else. I then asked her how long the pizza would take - she went back to ask another employee who was making them (I could tell by looking that it hadn't been made yet or got forgotten), she came back and said it would take 20-25 minutes. This is for Costco.com service. I recently placed an order online for a 32 Degree jacket for my daughter away at college. I requested that it be shipped directly to her. Shipping was no charge. The order was cancelled minutes after I received a confirmation that the order was placed successfully. According to the customer service department, if an algorithm they use can't connect the person to receive the delivery can't be connected to the delivery address they cancel the order and there is no way to override this to get the order placed. So, the only way to get this jacket to my daughter is to either buy the jacket at one of their stores or order online and have it shipped to me and then ship is to her at my expense. This is the complete opposite of other online sellers like Amazon, Bed, Bath & Beyond, and Walmart. read more

This Costco is beyond belief. For one thing, it's nestled in a little forest. Never have I seen a Costco in an area I would dream of living. Usually it's in Middle America box store bumf***. Lake Sammamish is close and the parking lot seems almost cradled by the beautiful mountains and trees. Turns out this is the HQ of Costco, or one of them. My friend's son (GA Tech grad) was a consultant when he moved from GA to WA. This was his office. The store is pristine. And they have everything! Of course I'm a Manhattanite with a small apartment and no freezer. But the wine and booze at ALL Costco in CA justify membership. In New York because of that liquor lobby which really hurts the middle class and below, you cannot buy wine and booze in grocery stores or warehouses like Bevmo. There is a Costco by the Target in East Harlem. The Aldi there is repugnant. I was depressed a day after wandering in there by mistake. That Target sucks too. I know people who go to the Costco but I'd probably go out to Rego Park in Queens if I had a bigger apartment and/or a car. And the service is terrific. My uncle mistakenly picked up 3 lbs of decaf coffee. I saw the receipt and asked if he meant to buy decaf. He told a clerk and was able to return the decaf that very day. My aunt bought me the cutest vest, too. The woman who works for our family over 40 years bought me a Costco sweater/jacket (same deal: sort of thin down deal with workout sleeves). I wear it to death and it lasts for ever. They made those in every color a few years ago and if I'd known, I'd have gotten a few more. Only downside: I wear on planes with no bra or undershirt and sometimes TSA insists it's a jacket. I always offer to unzip and show them I'm not hiding anything but fortunate, perky-at-any-age b*****. And they usually don't press. Oh---and the outdoor food area! Costco - Optical is the absolute worst, backwards service I have ever received. I had received my prescription from Kaiser and decided to go through Costco to get fitted and purchase contacts. When I made the appointment to get fitted they did not notify me that I was making an appointment with Dr.Ambo & Associates who it turns out is separate from Costco Optical. They also did not tell me they do not accept my insurance (VSP) even though I provided all of my information to them when I made the appointment. At the fitting they were 15min late and proceeded to tell me that I was going to have to come back for a mandatory contract instructional (teaching me how to put contacts in) which was another $20 on top of the $100 they charged me just to get fitted. 2 months later I decide on the contacts I like and to go through with purchasing them with Costco despite everything. I call and am told by Dr.Ambinos office that I now have to call Costco Optical to order them. I call the next day and am told they no longer accept over the phone orders and that I have to physically come in. When I commented on the lack of service and runaround I was receiving the lady hung up on me. So I purchased my contacts through 1800contacts and will NEVER use Costco for optical services ever again. This was the most disappointing service I have ever received from Costco and I travel from Seattle to Issaquah at least once a month because I felt this location had the best service and overall quality. read more

I learned my lesson to not buy appliances from Costco. Delivery was 7 hours after time I was given with no notice. Install company then notified me morning of scheduled day that the installation date was being delayed one week due to a high number of orders. I called their customer service line and was offered $50 or I needed to find a plumber to complete the install. They wanted my decision on the spot. I was treated like a number and not a member! Be careful with the jewelry clerk.... he an older gentleman trying to sell some of their display and told my bf "this is the only one left" went up to the cashier and lucky us the person who helping us was a manger. We asked how many more of this watch do you have left ? He said like 9...... okay clerk. Liar like that may costco look bad. The manager didn't make a comment when we had say well the clerk said this was the only one left. I don't blame management if they protect the good employees but protecting lying employee such as this one is a no no. This review solely for the jewelry. Some of the employees are very helpful. Went in to get some fresh produce. Not sure why this location more than others lives by the motto "stack it high and let it fly" but it is not user friendly. Wanted pineapple and this is how I found it. My wife who is of average height could not get to the top boxes. This is really a safety hazard....I can't even imagine how some who is short or disabled is supposed to get to this. read more
