The number of shirts, PNW centric books, trinkets and an abundance of cool hats made it a place we won't soon forget! The ladies working here were all very helpful, friendly and created a very warm vibe! The prices were all about what you'd expect and not overly expensive. The favorite items were a hat featuring Smokey the bear and a tee shirt with a delightfully smiley cartoon sun overlooking the town. We'll be back, probably sooner than we think.

The neighborhood appears to be roughly 4 square blocks, only a block away from the downtown Woodinville area (very near Molbak's). To identify the location, look for an adorable trio of bunnies which marks the center of Woodin Creek Village. Parking is plentiful. Both street parking and indoor retail parking at the apartment buildings are available. I came here to eat at Lifted Taco. Not because I'm a fan of their desserts, it's more of a "what's still open after dinner in Bellevue that we can have an excuse to sit and catch up some more". It's open late, plenty of seating to lounge around, I of course would pick something random to buy so I can sit here and hang out. 3. There's a hot pot spot here. I don't come here for hot pot though, I love their mushroom dynamite. On weekdays, it's half priced appetizers during dinner. I feel weird taking up a space and not ordering hot pot so I'll try to find somebody to tag along with so we can order a bunch of appetizers. If the dumpling place would open on my one day off, I would have already tried it since I've heard good things, but too bad I just haven't had the chance to stop by with my schedule. There's a library and dog grooming/hotel where you can upgrade your dog's room to a suite with a TV and ceiling fan for a hefty fee, I'm not sure if they have cable TV for the dog or they are stuck with the basic channels. There is also an Indian grocery and a bunch of other Asian eateries here. Parking is sufficient most of the time, but many of the parking spaces are slanted and smallish. I do like that most of the rows are one-way only and that there are multiple entrances, which keeps the lots from becoming congested. All in all, it is a well-managed strip mall with many in-demand businesses in Bellevue.

Still, Birches Habitat is definitely worth checking out for the style-conscious consumer, and absolutely the best boutique in North Bend! We're Hispanic and definitely got the vibe that one of the staff members was nervous we were going to steal something! The woman asked if my husband needed help 4x in the span of 20 minutes. He stepped outside to get reception and when he returned, she says "back again, I see". He met up with me towards the back wanting to leave and then she came up to ask if she could hold our items up at the front, I guess because she thought we were in cahoots. The whole thing is extra hilarious because we could easily afford to buy the entire store 4x over. My one regret is that my husband didn't share his experience beforehand so that I wouldn't have given them my money. Lesson learned.
