As the name implies, their menu is "Biscuit" centric. Think of all the sandwiches you've had in your life and replace the rolls with biscuits. The advantage of this approach is you get a better percentage of ingredients to bread. I had their Cubano biscuit. Pork, ham, mustard, pickles and cheese. It was tasty. I felt the sandwich was a little heavier on the ham Vs pork. A higher ratio of pulled pork would have made it a better biscuit. Still damn tasty and I would order it again. My wife ordered the crab benny biscuit. It was terrific. A small complaint that they do served her the wrong sandwich but did correct it quickly. There are long lines to get into the place. I understand that it's a popular restaurant, but in my opinion, There's no excuse for there to be three registers open, but only one person manning it at the same time I can see a number of people just standing around talking to each other . They need to work on that. read more

Ordered a small grits, side of sausage and some sweet puppies. Sorry no pictures...I ate and shared it was exactly what my body needed this morning. Definitely going to order again and try the biscuits. I'm told they are awesome. read more

We are in town visiting for a wedding and wanted to get brunch before leaving. This place was ok. The seating situation is not the best, you have to awkwardly stand in the center of the restaurant to wait for a seat since it's a seat yourself place and very crowded. Over all, the food was ok. I got the crab cake benedict and it was way more breading than crab unfortunately. It was a lot of food and we left full! read more

Be prepared to wait. But it is worth it. The biscuits are so good. Very buttery and fluffy. The chicken was prepared well and seasoned. Everything was served hot. Parking lot is tight. There is a fair amount of seating inside and a few outside tables. Nice spot for a quick bite. read more

Visited an hour before close on a Sunday afternoon - a great time to go since the morning/brunch rush had ended. Ordered the Crab Benny - the hollandaise and fried green tomato are the real stars of this dish! The crab cake was a bit filler-heavy for my taste, but that may not bother other folks. Poached egg was perfect. read more

A quick disclaimer for this one as I was a bit misled in the reviews but this is a "order at the counter and have your food brought to you" place instead of having a waiter but that did not play into how wonderful our lunch was at all! We ended up arriving just around two because they close at three. It was a little bit slower which we appreciated so that our little guy could run around on the patio. I got the vicious biscuit. My husband got the fat boy my mother-in-law got the hot chicken sandwich and my father-in-law got the, bigbreakfast platter. The biscuits were the BOMB! I wish I could package them up and get them anytime! read more

Wow! Just wow! If you are in Mount Pleasant, go try Vicious Biscuit. There are other locations in the South, so hopefully you can get to one, but this one was terrific. It was a busy Saturday morning and the line was out in the parking lot to get in. The line moves well and the tables clear out as you wait, so there is no problem grabbing a table. The have outdoor seating, so there is some options where to sit. It is counter service, so you place your order and they give you a number for your table, and then they bring you your food when it's ready. I had the old school breakfast plate with grits and husband tried the hams biscuit. Portions are large here, so you will leave very full. I like the butter and jam bar. You can help yourself to flavored butter for your biscuits. I tried the honey butter and the sweet potato butter. So good. Everything was so tasty. Go to Vicious Biscuit! read more

Overall: A dang good biscuit with a variety of sandwich options to choose from. Perfect casual breakfast or lunch! The good: Lots of unique selections, and we ultimately went with the very tasty Fat Boy. We came close to closing time for our first visit so we had to get a sweet potato biscuit, but it was still just as soft and buttery as the regular option (if not better). And, it paired perfectly with the (well-sized) spicy-honey-glazed chicken and pimento cheese. Both savory and sweet! Our second visit was just as good - the Viscious was hearty and heaping with flavor. The portions are large too, which justifies the price. Left happy and full. The not-so-good: The lines can get long during peak hours, and they only had 1 register open for both our visits. Food: 9.5/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 9/10 Edit: Updated after a second visit - realized that the limited outdoor seating is probably due to COVID. And these biscuits/sandwiches are just so dang good! Upgraded from a 4 to a 5. read more

First time trying Vicious Buscuit. Cafeteria type set up but they bring your food out to you. Full condiment station and self-serve drinks unless you get a cocktail. I got the Fat Boy. Just a hint of heat from the hot honey. Food came out quick. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Manager checked on us which is always appreciated. Menu isn't too big which I like but plenty of variety. Would definitely come back! read more

Amazing breakfast spot! I came in with my mom at around 9am on a Monday and the service was super fast even though the restaurant was busy. We ordered last the router before getting a number. I got the yogurt bowl and she got the egg white omlette and we both got side biscuits. The food came out super fast and the servers were super nice. We both loved our food! There was a whole jam and butter bar and we got the honey butter, maple bourbon butter, strawberry jam and peach habanero jam. I LOVED the honey butter and my mom loved the peach habanero. The biscuit was massive and so tasty, so we had to take some of it home with us. The inside was pretty basic, nothing too special, but if youre looking for some good biscuits this is the place to be! read more

This food is delicious. I haven't left yet and I'm already putting on my return. The sweet potato waffle is delicious. I picked off my son's plate unashamed. I made a great decision as well with my shrimp and grits. The shrimp was delicious and perfectly seasoned and cooked. The people working were kind too and explained the menu to us as well. They have a blueberry ghost pepper syrup that tastes good on everything. Do yourself a favor and check it out! read more

I arrived early on a Friday morning. No line. Everyone was so welcoming and gave me great suggestions on the most popular dishes. I ordered the fat boy biscuit. It was really good. Spicy sweet dipped chicken with pimento cheese on a fluffy biscuit. It was so so good. I also ordered grits, a side of bacon, and honey butter. I really want to try everything on the menu. This place was BUSY and for good reason. The food was delicious, fresh, and served with a happy workforce. There is approximately 50 seats inside and roughly 30 patio seats. They have a tremendous butter and jelly bar to tailor your meal with a wide array of flavors. read more

We live downtown and travel to MP for this food. Everything they do is phenomenal. The fried chicken on my sandwich was perfectly fried. They get the ratios of all the toppings just right. If you go on a weekend, it is quite the process. by the time we waited in line and got our food, it was probably 45 minutes. So don't show up starving like I did. It's a very busy operation. They only have two high chairs which is definitely not enough for a place that big and busy, though they do have some booster seats as well. The only disappointment were the beignets. They give you 4 very small pieces, it's basically a plate of whipped cream with strawberries. They are yummy though. Grab an extra biscuit to take home with some of their specialty butters, cause you'll definitely want one the next day. read more

This place seems like it always has a line. It somehow had a constant flow through it though, like a feeding chain for cattle in chutes. I had the Vicious. Well, because of course, if a place is going to live up to its name, it has to be through the namesake of the place. It was okay. I thought there was something missing with the sandwich build. I sadly found myself getting tired of the same flavor and texture. The biscuit was plenty of food to fill me by itself, but it needed some zest added to it. Kind of made me sad it didn't punch me in the face with flavor having a name like that. The sad sides, sausage patties, we're basic and nothing special. I definitely wouldn't pay for something like that again. The Cold Brew was your normal coffee brew. Kind of bitter but perked me up. It did it's job but didn't top the fresh squeezed OJ thanks to their sweet machine that was busy smashing the oranges. The staff was friendly but were just pulling people through the line. I didn't really feel that they were trying to sell me on a certain item or pressure me to buy more. I'd be happy to try another item from here for it to try to make me enjoy it more. I really really wish I liked this more with such a cool name and concept. read more

Probably the best biscuit restaurant I've been to. The restaurant was bright and cheery and very clean. The service was excellent and the orders came out incredibly quick! We were with a group of six and we were all starving so needless to say we ordered a ton of food. I had The Animal Farm with the gluten free biscuit. It was so good! I got the bourbon cinnamon butter from the bar a smeared it on the biscuit. My husband ordered the Huevos Rancheros and jalapeño cheddar pups. Our friends ordered the beignets and raved about them! The coffee, Cappuccinos and orange juice were all delicious as well. I just discovered we have a Vicious Biscuit near us in Jacksonville so I am definitely going to check it out! read more

We passed by this joint the day before and that made me do a little research to see that Yelpers give this place a solid thumbs up and I definitely agree! This isn't your standard biscuit joint, with cute little samiches. These biscuits are for grown ups with grown up appetites and boast a wide variety of flavors, both local and international. It's walk-up counter service, though the menu board is a touch hard to see with all of the choices available. I went with The Babe as I really try not to order things where I need to make a lot of changes. Here I thought just getting the horseradish removed would mean I was good to go, but afterwards realized that "cowboy candy" is actually jalapenos. Am I the only one that didn't know that? Luckily they weren't too plentiful and were removed quickly and without incident. The rest of the sandwich was amazing! The biscuit was thick and flavorful, moist but not greasy and the barbecue sauce really tied it all together. And don't even get me started on the bacon! Two small things prevented a five star review: 1. I ordered a coffee but didn't get it. I went back in after the food came and was handed a mug. No apology or explanation of the self-serve setup off to the left. 2. Staff will come out and bus your table, but we had to ask to get that info. I don't want to be "that guy," leaving a mess behind, so a little info up front would have been helpful and kept me from feeling awkward at the end of the meal. read more

We stopped by on a late Saturday morning. It was busy. Almost every table was full and the line was nearly out the door. The line moved pretty quickly and the cashier was nice. We sat down at a table with our number and waited quite a bit of time for our sandwiches to come out. I got the Fat Boy. The chicken was crispy and the pimento cheese was rich in flavor. The spicy honey was a nice touch. I can see the hype and I'm excited to go back and try another one of their sandwiches. read more

Love, love, love the biscuits! Knowing it would be a crazy busy time, we opted to drive over, park, wait in a long line (that actually moved fairly quickly) and order to go. Grabbed a spot at the bar and enjoyed a decent cup of coffee while watching what appeared to be a fairly happy staff put out some damned good breakfasts, fresh squeezed OJ, mimosas and espresso drinks. The only option for ordering anything was to wait in the long line, or I would have enjoyed a carafe of mimosas (bargain at $17) while waiting for my to-go order. That's the first thing I'd change if I were running the show... provide service at the bar. I get the concept of ordering at the counter, finding a table and waiting for a runner to bring your food, but the bar doesn't have to be that way. We noticed a large bag near the checkout area and finally inquired to find that it was indeed our order which had been sitting there for a bit, which brings me to the second thing I'd change... call out a name when to-go orders are ready. After retrieving our bag, we stopped by the self-service topping bar for whipped butter, honey butter, maple bourbon butter, preserves, etc. Nice to be able to load up on all that, but didn't appear all that sanitary. All that aside, we found the food to be fantastic! Loved the huge, flakey buttermilk biscuits with gravy, with chicken, with bacon, with shrimp, with pimento cheese, with cheddar, with hot honey, with jalapeños and with the aforementioned butters and jams. All very good... and very filling! Not the best biscuit I've ever eaten, but easily in the top 10, and at a good value! Makes sense that they're planning to expand to other cities in the south. read more

They're called vicious, but these biscuits are absolutely delightful. With fried chicken cooked to juicy perfection and a honey drizzle for balance, the Fat Boy is delicious. I feel like my review of this place is boring but Vicious food is anything but boring. I split the signature menu item, The Vicious, with my wife and it was great. Table also had shrimp and grits and the Belgian waffle. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The portion sizes are definitely huge. One biscuit was enough for 2 of us (we aren't stick figures but we do split a bunch of meals so take that with a hint of caution). They also make a great latte and had almond milk. So I was delighted at the end of this meal. Can't wait to come back. It's worth mentioning that the 2 people I came with had actually eaten at another Vicious location just the day before.
