The good: Stephanie, the manager, assisted me in my need for a new phone. She was pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and kind. She was prompt in helping me pick out a phone AND helped me set it all up. So by the time we were done, I was able to leave my old, crushed, gravelly phone on their counter and leave with my new, purty, shiny new toy. The (not so) bad: I waited maybe 5 min longer to be signed in upon arrival than I'd have liked. But after watching their process of greeting customers while Stephanie was assisting me, I was pleased with how attentive they were (especially to any seniors who lacked product knowledge). The entire team seemed enthusiastic and experienced and helpful to all those they helped. Great management here! Thanks!

Attempted to transfer my phone number but got frustrated when he couldn't find the right settings. He admitted he wasn't familiar with android phones, he usually worked with i-phones. He called other reps on his phone to help him; while complaining that he hated his job. He finished the transfer process, but the phone wouldn't port over, so he told me to drive over to Spectrum and ask them to release the account. The sales rep in the E. Rochester store looked up my account and told me that my phone number had transferred already (my trip there was unnecessary). When I got back to the Victor AT&T store, Isaiah told me that I was good to go. I said wait a minute, what about my new Fold Ultra 8? He looked shocked; he said I thought you said that I had friend that was interested in the Fold 8 ( I never said that). He then went on to say that there is nothing he could do now--so come back in a month and I can upgrade then. Later on Monday Aug. 24, I went to the Fairport AT&T store and Aliza, set me up with the Fold Ultra 8 and rescinded the previous transaction. During what should have been a routine installation, the installers drilled through a water pipe and flooded our apartment. As water poured into our home, we were frantically trying to move our belongings and stop the flooding while the installers repeatedly told us, "It's not a problem," and "It's no big deal." To make matters worse, they laughed while this was happening. Whether they were laughing at the situation or something else, it was completely inappropriate given the damage being done to our home. We were left dealing with a flooded apartment, damaged belongings, concerns about mold, and the stress of cleaning up and working through the repair process. I understand that accidents can happen during construction or installation work. What I cannot understand is the lack of urgency, professionalism, and empathy shown during the incident. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Greenlight Fiber.
