This Verizon store is a third party. Lots of misinformation on the pricing. Purchased phones and plans almost a year ago, and are still dealing with the fallout of incorrect information from this entity who realized their mistake and has yet to fully compensate as discussed. Many hours on the phone. Certainly deception here. i will only do business with actual Verizon, ATT, etc stores owned by the actual company in the future. read more

Worst experience I have ever had at a phone store... ever. We went in weeks ago and picked out devices to have shipped to the store. We told them we'd be back on a specific day and showed up that day. My husband's account showed they had been delivered to the store. We were adding myself to his account. When we get there they acted like they had no idea what we came in for, couldn't find our devices. We waited for almost an hour just for them to find our devices. Then we waited 2 hours for them to get our bill and prices down to what we had spent an hour discussing the last time we were there (as they had somehow went up almost $200 from the last time) they finally were magically able to uphold the promo we came in for when we told them we'd were going to walk. Then we finally get to the point and start the process to add my line and port over my number, doesn't this guy walk away from us 20 times to help other customers even though there were 3 other employees in the store. He says to us "sorry I'm just trying to make my money" how unprofessional can you be? This delaying our service even more because they rep he called on his Verizon phone and LEFT US TO TALK TO, needed info we didn't have. We also had our newborn with us who was beginning to fuss since we were on hour 4 of this awful experience. To add icing to the cake we told him we had two older kiddos at home waiting to go trick or treating (this was Halloween) and he still kept walking away to try and make full on sales with customers walking in the door. I will never ever return to this store and once our devices are paid off we plan on going back to my old cell provider as I had never had an issue with them in the 10 years I used them. On top of all of that he started the cloud back up for my device and tried to tell me to give him my old phone to be wiped clear and leave the store before the back up was completed. Thank god we were not comfortable with that after everything else and decided to take the old device with us. The second we left the store and had no WiFi, the new device failed the back up restore and needed to start over once we got home, for which we needed the old device for the codes. We drove an hour and a half to this store twice so that the second time would be fast and smooth after discussing price and picking out devices the first time. This ended up being the absolute worst experience I have ever had. Do better Verizon. read more

I wish I had read the reviews about this store before my husband and I made a recent purchase. On 6/21/2023 I bought a new Samsung Galaxy S23 from Jacob. I knew exactly which phone I wanted and I knew the full retail price before coming to the store. Even without a trade-in, I expected to pay no more than $799. As another reviewer experienced, the sales rep bundled a package of all the accessories I would need for my new phone; the bundle was a shock cover, screen protector, and camera lens cover. Bundling the accessories suggests a cost savings. In reality, their "bundling" was an opportunity for the store to overcharge for items that cost less individually through numerous retailers. When it came to signing for the purchase, we asked first to see a detailed statement of the transaction. We were told it wasn't available until after the transaction was completed and then it would be printed out for us, it wasn't! Of course, by then all of the data from my old phone had been transferred to the new phone. We made a payment of $226.58 (for taxes, fees, and accessories) without an opportunity to review a breakdown of costs for which we were authorizing payment. I needed a new phone, and so we reluctantly left the store without a receipt in hand. Even if the receipt had been printed and handed to us directly after authorizing and we found it to be in error, we would have been subject to a return fee and any other fees to transfer my data back into my old phone. Later that evening, we received an itemized sales invoice via email. We were charged $15 above the full retail price for the new phone! I never agreed to that!! Also, all of the accessories were charged $21 more for the exact same items we could have purchased on Amazon. The store also charged a set-up fee of $29.99. Today, I looked at my Verizon account online and found that Verizon has also charged a "Device Payment Upgrade Fee" of $35. Could this be the same service as the set-up fee that the store charged for $29.99? Jacob never told us of any additional fees we could expect from Verizon. Does this come down to semantics and the store has found a way to double dip on fees?? This transaction cost $36.79 more than it should have if the store was not gauging. In fact, this has been so distasteful, that after 30+ years with Verizon, we might be ready for a change in provider. If nothing else, this store is not ever an option!!! read more

An extremely frustrating experience with condescension, sexism, and outright fraud. I ordered a phone through Verizon Wireless that was shipped to this store, and received a discount for ordering on Black Friday. Before I ever arrived in the store, I received a text saying that my phone had been picked up, followed by another text saying that there was an unsuccessful attempt to activate my phone. When I did arrive in the store, the employees claimed that I needed to cancel the transaction and start over with a brand-new purchase -- one that would not include the Black Friday discount, and also one that would earn them money on their commission at my expense. I asked why this was necessary, given that my phone had been shipped to the store already, and I was simply told that there had been "a computer error." When I asked for clarification about the nature of the error, including information on why I had to start the transaction over when it had already been completed, the employee literally laughed in my face. He repeatedly told me not to be "silly," said that I was acting "ridiculous," and otherwise treated me like an ignorant child. When I requested documentation of the error, he said "some little piece of paper won't help you" and otherwise acted openly condescending toward me. I understand that, as a small woman, I sometimes appear to be younger than I really am. However, A) I am a college professor in my late 20s, and B) I would not deserve the treatment I received even if I was a child. The employees would not issue me a refund, and they would not give me the phone that I purchased. They insisted that the only way forward was for me to start a brand-new transaction where I paid their store the full price of the phone, even though I had already paid for it online at a discounted price. Finally I left the store without the phone or a refund, and called Verizon Wireless customer support. The individuals at Verizon looked through the records and confirmed what I had feared: all signs indicate that this authorized retailer sold my phone to a different customer, and then tried to cover it up with a story about a "computer error." Verizon called the authorized retailer on my behalf, but their technicians were also given the runaround. Verizon was unable to cancel the transaction for me because the authorized retailer's records indicated that I had already picked up the phone -- a full day before I ever arrived at the store. It was not until my colleague entered the store in person and explained the situation to a manager that the store finally acknowledge that their records were in error. When I attempted to address my concerns with the store itself, the individual I spoke to on the phone (who gave his name as Lincoln) literally refused to listen to me, talking over me and not allowing me to get in more than two or three words before he repeatedly laughed and told me that I just didn't understand the "computer error." When I asked him to help me understand through explaining it, he told me that I couldn't possibly understand, and would not provide any more information on the nature of the "error" or even during what part of the transaction it had arisen. I am feeling very upset, frustrated, and as though I have been repeatedly lied to. I am currently exploring options for how to report this fraud or at least get the phone that I purchased, and Verizon Wireless is helping me to do so. Worst experience ever!! I went to this store to upgrade my Verizon Iphone. Right away, the salesman starts adding all this 'extra items' like a phone case, screen protector and charging plug. $250 in extras and set up fees... I reluctantly agreed. They also upgraded my service and took my old phone as a trade. Once I got home and checked my Verizon account online, they upgraded the wrong phone number, never gave me the discount for upgrading the service, added device protection to each phone number individually, (Even my old kids phones!) My new Verizon bill would be over $350! I called Verizon directly and there was nothing to do on their end. The rep recommended that I go back and return the new iphone 12. They also charged me $10 more for the phone than online! Not having my phone for 24 hours, I returned it and all the other extras. They still got me for the $69 glass protection and set up fee. I argued and got the $35 stocking fee removed. It cost me $100 to get eFFed by this store. Not to mention loosing over 4 hours of my life in this entire process. The case, glass protection and charger were all extremely overpriced. I got it all online for $25. Buyer Beware - Do not use this store -- Upgrade ONLINE instead and have the phone sent to you! read more
