So I'm not sure why I never wrote a review for this location before! This is now my go-to store since the East Avenue one closed. It's conveniently located in the same plaza as Whole Foods, which makes errands a little easier. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. They assisted me when I upgraded my phone earlier this year (2025) and recently helped with an issue regarding my husband's phone. I also asked about the over-55 discount on my bill, and they were able to take care of that. If you have insurance on your phone, they can usually handle it in-store too. All around, a solid and reliable location with great customer service. read more

This Review is regarding T Mobile store on Jefferson Rd. in Henrietta. The staff and t mobile as a compnay are horrible. not only are they liars but bill people fraudulently. We set up autopay that Worked for the first month but then didnt. The staffed claimed my bank must have put a hold on it but bank did not. They charged us an extra $15 and wont refund it. They also took a random $20.17, fruadulently and won't refund it. They blamed my bank for that too. Not to mention them sending me an iphone 17 "by mistake", sending me a fruadulent shipping label, expecting me to send the phone back. Luckily, I'm not an idiot and took the phone back to the store. Im sure they would have billed me $1100 for the phone I never ordered. T mobile should be put out of business. read more

I went to Hudson Ridge at Rochester NY approx 1100 on 11/10/2006. I had problems with putting up and taking down posts. Just switched from Verizon to T-Mobile. I had a problem with one of the numbers I ported from Verizon. T-Mobile Customer Care connected me with tech support. After talking to 4 different techs the problem wasn't resolved. One tech had me delete ALL the texts from both phones. I lost pictures of grand kids among other things. Still no change. The last tech had me turn off the problem phone and then quickly told me it was fixed even though we didn't try to see if it was fixed. He just wanted to get rid of me as he hung up. I called back and talked to a different tech. The problem was resolved in less than 5 minutes. When a supervisor called me, I was given an apology. Big deal. I was on with tech support for well over an hour, lost all our texts, and all they said was sorry. What a horrible experience and what a horrible way to treat a new customer. read more

Was looking to switch carriers to T-Mobile as the plan my mother and I are currently on is way too expensive! And so I started a chat, which inevitably lead to 4+ hours of conversation and a trip 72 miles away to take my mother to the store as there was an issue with our order. I was told all we would have to do is stop into a store and they would be able to find the order number and process it. Nope!!! Spent all day yesterday dealing with apparent idiots, just to walk out of T-Mobile with nothing!?!?!? Absolute HORRIBLE customer service and so very glad we didn't switch! Because then as customers what type of service would we get!?!? I hope you don't mistreat them this way! Good luck! read more

T-Mobile the carrier you're waiting for... cheaper than Verizon... great Data I can get it from across the world (exaggeration BTW). They also got great staff at stores. Every Tuesday there is something free too and its cool. They have 5G also! REALLY REALLY recommend! read more

A fantastic store. First, this is a corporate location and not contracted out, so you can rely much more on the information being provided about the carrier plans and reliability. The manager, Brad, was fantastic. He was very eager to help us and talked us through everything in enthusiastic detail. He went so far as to offer us his card with a personal number with the promise that he would answer at any time of night (we were switching plans affecting family members across three different time zones.) This is my third cell phone carrier in six years and I'm not going back. If I have any issues, this is the place I'll go to get them straightened. I'm surprised to read the negatives reviews. They must have gotten all new staff, because I was in there this past week and the customer service was superb. I was assisted by Jacqes, a warm, friendly, super helpful young man. He was so patient with all of my questions and concerns about the newer iPhones, and he's a technology guru capable of explaining things in terms I could understand (I'm not well versed in all of the new technology). This was my first time in a T-Mobile store because I'd always been with Verizon. The level of customer service I experienced with Jacques both times I was in there moved me to switch to T-Mobile. I also want to add that the T-Mobile customer service number I called on Friday was also top notch and extremely helpful. I live in an area where cell phone signals are weak and they (unlike Verizon) added several features (free of charge) which now enable me to make phone calls from home. Verizon's only solution had been to offer me a network extender for 269.00! T-Mobile is doing this for me free of charge. At the risk of sounding cliché, I'm so happy I made the switch to T-Mobile. their customer service is unparalleled. All retailers and customer service departments could learn from them. Additionally, the team at the T-Mobile customer service number is located in the United States (at least on weekdays, until 8 pm). Bravo, T-Mobile! read more

I was in the store for almost 4 hours while they tried to transfer my data from the old phone to the new one. I eventually had to go to another T-Mobile store to get a phone. The salesperson promised me a $20 credit for taking so long. It's been almost 4 months and I haven't seen the credit yet. My wife's new phone was messing up sending and receiving texts. They told her to delete a bunch of old text messages. She did that and the phone's still experiencing the same problem. One of the representatives was supposed to call me when the new phones came in. He didn't call me. When I called the store two days later, they had already sold out to the new phones. Maybe if he would have called when they came in ai might have gotten one that day. I've never had a good experience at this store. read more

I was really impressed by how knowledgable the sales staff was. Typically if you're "just browsing" at a place like Verizon Wireless they either hound you or totally ignore you. The two that helps me went above and beyond to answer my questions and provide me with the right brochures to take home and review. They definitely swayed me to switch from Verizon to T-Mobile. read more

Terrible manager. Was referred to the manager by a helpful salesperson a few days earlier because the salesperson is off during the week. Waited and waited for manager-- who lets the customer sit there in an empty store while manager takes phone calls, talks to staff etc.? Finally, when he turned his attention to me, he looked totally unfriendly and disinterested. When I explained that I had been referred to him by the Saturday salesman and why, he did not seem to understand the issue. He acted like he had no idea and no curiosity as to who or what I was talking about. He did nothing to establish whom i had spoken to and it was obvious from his attitude, body language, facial expression that i was getting nowhere. He was aware that this issue was in regard to switching four lines over from Verizon so I was really surprised by his disinterest. I am going to try another T-mobile store, as other reviews seem to validate my impression of this particular manager. *UPDATE: I went to the Webster store on Bay and Empire. AWESOME! Charles is the manager there and the experience was like night and day. He was thorough, warm, quick, chill and responsive. While I was there, another escapee from the Pittsford T- Mobile store shared her story of aggravation dealing with the same manager who was hostile and obstructive. She was grateful to have found her way to the Webster store and was working with a guy named Jay, also very attentive. I want to review the Empire Blvd store but it is not yet on Yelp. If I did they would get 5 stars! Go there! read more

Do NOT go to this store!!! Megan and Kim were super nice, but the manager was a flippant jerk (I'd like to call him something else). I was there for nearly 2 hours while Megan desperately tried to transfer my info to the new phone I purchased, but to no avail. Finally, she asked the manager for help. He did nothing. I asked him for help, and then he said the store didn't have enough data to update my phone. What??? He suggested I go home a do it. 1) why were the store associates not privy to this info? 2) why did he not tell me to go home and do it 1 1/2 hours earlier? He was well aware of what Megan was trying to do. 3)why would a store that provides cell service not have enough data to serve their customers and update their phones???? I've had t-mobile since it existed. I've had a cell phone for 16 years. This manager was the worst person in the cell phone world I've encountered. read more
