Outstanding service by Matt. My Dell laptop screen went blank. Matt immediately diagnosed the problem as a screen backlight failure, requiring a screen replacement. Recently purchased my second computer from the PC and Wireless Shop in Candandaigua and couldn't be more satisfied with the entire purchasing and after sale experience. This is a family-run business that focuses on customer satisfaction, providing exactly what we customers need and ask for. The performance was as good as they claimed it would be and was truly a plug and play computer. All prior programs, documents and pics were easily accessible and I have had no issues or problems. A nice feature is the presence of Team Viewer program that allows the shop to remotely access your computer if needed - which would avoid having to bring your computer in. Yesterday my husband and I stopped in to the PC & Wireless Shop to have my refurbished PC checked. Jason Brown was on the desk and I was impressed with his honesty.... Before even taking it back to look at it, he asked a few pertinent questions.... Then said, because it was under warranty and I had only had it (since July), he didn't want to charge us the hourly rate to come back and tell us it was the same issue our son had told us it probably was..... My gut instinct was good, that although he easily could have done just that... taken it back, charged us the fee and we still would need to send it to the warranty company.... Instead, he told us, up front, we would be wiser to send it in... He could have pushed to sell us a new computer.... He didn't.... I am very disappointed with the lack of customer service at The PC & Wireless Shop. They sold my daughter a phone for $60, which we later learned could be purchased at Walmart for $12.88. When we went back to the Wireless Shop for an explanation, they were completely unwilling to work with us. We got taken this time, but I'll be sure to spread the word that this shop is not reputable. read more
