She genuinely listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable as a customer -- something I haven't always experienced in past interactions. She helped identify services I was paying for unnecessarily, explained how my insurance could actually work in my favor with my current situation, and made sure I understood every step before making changes. The worst customer service I have received in years. An employee spent 5 minutes with me before saying they couldn't do anything to activate my phone, despite Verizon phone support telling me to go to the store in the first place. They instead put me back on the phone support, let me sit there by myself, only for the issue to still not be resolved. Verizon's policies are designed in a way to create endlessly frustrating experiences for their customers, and the staff are unwilling or unable to help customers navigate it successfully. read more

If I could give it a zero I would. I ordered the business line, with a desk phone and cell phone. I have had terrible service from JP. My desk phone never worked I've jumped through all the hoops tech support asked. They also kept adding things to my service that brought my bill to over $250. I went in to talk to JP and he was on vacation. They told me he would be back the following Monday. I went in and they said he took a personal day. So I made an appointment for the next day at 1pm. I arrived at 1235pm and they said he was in a meeting. Since I was early no problem. When 1pm came someone went back to get him. I was then told he was in another meeting. I said I will wait they said it will be about 45 minutes. 15 minutes later and JP walked out of the building right passed me. He didn't say anything to me just left and got in his truck and away. read more

It was pleasant and productive. It takes time to get a new phone but I enjoyed speaking with the person helping me. She found me the best deal and explained everything to me. I am just a 25 year customer with 5 lines. Purchased a new 16 max. Got a trade and a $200 rebate, cool! A month goes by no rebate email. On the phone for 35 min, Ok . Then told to go to the Corp store- this one and they will issuer the rebate. She said she would enter it on the computer so they would know what to do Spoke to Justis- The store manager, he was so gruff. My parents (who are just about tech illiterate as they come) needed phone upgrades and he was there every step of the way. After being a Verizon wireless customer for over 20 years, I went into the store on Oracle to inquire about getting a reduced price on my plan. As a Long time customer, I'm paying almost $100 a month for one line, less than 3 gb usage. I'm semi-retired and looking for some kind of senior discount like AARP offers through consumer cellular. I was told that wasn't available and they weren't gonna work with me on any kind of plan... so I'm leaving and going to consumer cellular. Verizon does not care about long-term customers at all. We live in San Lucas which is in Marana. We are supposed to have great cell service. NOT. We constantly drop calls. And have dead spots inside our house. Have to use WiFi calling which also sucks because we have xfiniity. 1 bar is cell service shows all the time. Come on Verizon - this neighborhood is over 20 years old. Now that I have had service with Verizon for a month I can say with certainty that they are the most dishonest people on the face of the Earth. They set a new standard for dishonesty. Your bill will be three times as high as what you are expecting every single time. With no explanation. If you try to chat with them, they will lie, change the subject, distract you, but never ever ever give you answers about why your bill is higher than you expected. They just wanted me out the store as soon as possible. They were very irritated I wanted to move my photos. Just kept saying " you are done... you can leave". At home today and my phone will not perform basic functions. Will pursue this online with the company.. spoke to someone yesterday and they apologized profusely for the conduct of employees there. I went in to switch back to Verizon. Erika was helping me and proceeded to call Verizon tech support. Several techs were helping, all of whom she said hung up on her. She would go in the bathroom to talk to them so I wouldn't hear her conversation. I asked her to put the next tech on speaker phone so I could hear what was being said. The tech insisted more than once that Erika get a Sim card and put it in the phone. Erika disappeared to the backroom and after a while I went to see what she was doing. I started to ask her where the SIM card was and why she wasn't putting it in my phone. Now she is crying and locking herself in the backroom so I can't speak to her. Two hours had passed, and she accomplished nothing, so I asked her to give me my SIM tray back so I could leave. Her response was that she didn't have it. Huh? I finally used the Verizon store landline to call the police to help me get my phone and SIM tray back. When they arrived, they were in the store about a 1/2 hour with the same run around I was getting. The police finally gave me my phone back with no SIM tray. She rendered my phone useless!! I am working with Verizon directly on a new phone, which has not been a picnic either. DON'T EVER GO HERE!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE!! read more

I went into the store with the expectation of switching my service to Verizon and because of my experience I left with my same TMobile service. Alfredo misled and outright lied to me about what my monthly bill would be. He was rude and unhelpful the entire time, like I was bothering him by asking questions. When I saw on the print-out that the monthly price was different than he told me I was furious because he was trying to sneak it past me. He tried to tell me that it was the same plans we spoke about. Unfortunately for him, I can do the math and it didn't add up at all. On Jan 12 a hacker called Verizon and he/she was able to move my account to his/her phone without Verizon sending me any kind of warning or alert before they proceeded to make the switch. As a result my bank accounts were hacked and I'm going through a nightmare. How I knew: on Jan 13 I noticed my phone had no service so I came to this store to get help,when the employee opened my account right away I saw the picture of a different iPhone model on it, I pointed that out to him and without blinking an eye he said that "it was a random error" and he would move it back to my phone immediately. At that time I was not aware yet of the transactions being made through online banking on my name, later that day I started getting the alerts from my bank and then I realized what was happening. I don't wish it on my worst enemy. So, do not trust Verizon to protect your information, they will give to whoever calls them saying it is you without confirming it first. read more

I took my wife to add her newly purchased iPhone onto my account. Hit it just right around 4:30 p.m. and things were slow at the store. We were in and out in 15 minutes. It was so easy adding her phone onto my account. The service rep was knowledgeable and pleasant. Since I am planning on getting my daughter an iPhone as well, I asked her about Verizon's parental controls. Quite impressive. If you do not know already, Apple is about the only cell phone manufacturer that does not allow 3rd parties to create an effective parental control app that truly controls use of the phone in all aspects. Any Android phone can do it. (No, I will not be going Android, though I want to. Long story.) Verizon's controls are very impressive and can be set all from My Verizon. For only $5/month, I can determine hours of operation for data, phone, and texts. I can set the time of day these are available or set time limits. I can even set a data usage limit and once my daughter hits that data use amount, she can't use data anymore. I used to have a different service. I love how I have LTE most anywhere. Only very occasionally will it drop to 3G. I haven't price shopped too much, but I do know that Verizon is not the cheapest out there, but you sure get what you pay for that you can't with other providers: great coverage. read more

All she would do is schedule an appointment for a future date or give me the customer service number. I have several emails with that number. Since when does Verizon need appointments. None of their advertisements state that. Since when does any company turn away a paying customer. I will 110% never step in that location again. Do not I repeat do not sign up with Verizon... They trick you into buying out your contract and promising better phones at a lower rate... But if you decide to sign the contract make sure you read the small print because me and my wife transition over from T-Mobile to Verizon and told the representative exactly what we I know it's not wanted and expected in regard to upgrading phones and keeping our monthly bill below $200. The representative assured us that that is what he worked out but 14 days later I got my bill and to my surprise it says I owe $589 plus my monthly bill was $300... What the representative failed to mention was that he was charging $151 per line when he told us it was going to be for both so therefore we're stuck with a $300 payment and a contract for 24 months. When we called Verizon and told them our situation the representative pretty much told us that we're stuck because we're past the 14 day probationary. So now we're stuck with a bill that is astronomical and the fact that they can actually do this to other people during is unethical. I went in to see if I could exchange my phone because rapid temp change caused the back glass to crack and it was damaged and my screen protector needed to be replaced too. I didn't know I needed an appointment and didn't read the signs because at first I saw a woman standing in front of the store and she was wearing a security shirt and I assumed she worked there so when I saw her walk inside I thought oh good I can just go in. I was immediately told to go outside and then a woman came out and told me I needed an appointment. I said oh I didn't realize that and then all the generic looking signs were bright as day! She was gracious enough to help me understand I needed to file a insurance claim and even printed out an info sheet and that for the protective screen I needed to get a new one at the mall. So I bought a rapid charger and went in my car to plug it in and it didn't stay in. So I compared it to my other charger that was broken and noticed the little metal adapter on the charger they sold me was too short so I went back and waited outside for someone to see me and then asked if I could get a charger that was for my phone. The man said it was the correct charger and would swap out the cord and so I waited. A customer (man) then exited the store and made an expression to me as if he was upset about something g and then the gentleman came out and told be he swapped it out because the one I had was defective and possibly damaged during the manufacturing process as it was clearly shorter. They are doing a great job keeping things safe at this location and I really appreciated the above and beyond customer service. read more

Sigh.....I only have myself to blame. I knew better than to come back to this store. Why do I torture myslef this way? Once again I went to this store looking for assistance, once again I left frustrated and angry. And once again I called customer service from the parking lot outside their store and my issue is in its way to resolution. Don't go to this store, they are not interested in helping you. I was told my only options for my malfunctioning replacement phone (same problem as the first phone, btw) where to a) get their Edge Up plan and pay every month for a new phone or b) put in an insurance claim and pay $100 deductible. Now, had I damaged this phone in some way, I would pay the deductible and go on my way. However, my issue seems to be a problem with this model phone as this is the second phone to have this problem. So, thanks, Tiffany, for all you non-help. Upon calling customer service, I was told that I was still covered under the extended warranty. {Gasp}. The lovely woman on the phone will be calling me after I arrive at work (where I have access to another phone) and transfer me to tech support so that they can go through some trouble shooting. To sum up: either call customer service directly so you actually get help or go to any other Verizon store on Earth. You will not get help here. You will not be treated well here (especially if you have a Loyalty plan). Run far, far away. You'd be better off at a kiosk in the mall. read more

Went to have my phone looked at again and was told to reset it. I told the person I already did so when I was in a week ago he said let me get you a new SIM card. Was told that it had been activated but when I got home I found out that it wasn't . So I drive all the way back since I couldn't call them this time they activated it. Was told that it was a glish in the machine? I then told them that I'd like to be reimbursed for my time and Gas. One of the Managers said no. So I went to his boss Tara who is the General Manager. She said no that Verizon didn't do that kind of thing I then asked her if she worked for free? She said no So I now have a card to talk to the Solutions Specialist Kayleigh Espinoza. Be prepared to wait in line forever, and not have your issue handled. Spent 1 1/2 hours there, they couldn't add a line with a certain phone b/c "blah blah blah" (some probably made up answer). Not to mention they didn't understand different plans that Verizon is supposed to be offering. We ended up going to the Verizon kiosk at Tucson Mall, they called it in, and it was done. We should have just went there first, but figured that the actual Verizon store would a better choice, and have more knowledgeable people. Boy were we wrong. On May 6, 2021, Mr. Alejandro Espinoza, General Manager of the Verizon store located at 4405 North Oracle Rd, Tucson, AZ 85705, refused to provide customer service for my mother's iPhone which was running hot. My mother is Vietnamese, close to being 80 years old, and unfamiliar with technology. Mr. Espinoza also argued with me and lied to me on the phone about divulging account manager information to my mother. Mr. Espinoza instructed my mother to come back to the store and he will provide service to her. My mother came back to the store on the 7thand the 8th of May 2021, but she was told Mr. Espinosa was unavailable both times. The Verizon representative also refused to service my mother's phone and instructed my mother to have her son do it. After being refused service from the Oracle store, my mother visited the Verizon store located on North Thornydale Road in Marana. The representative at the Marana store serviced my mother's phone and was able to resolve the issue. Also, the representative informed my mother the employees at the Oracle store are mean. I am grateful for the assistance provided by the representative at the Marana Verizon store. However, I am disappointed with the treatment and refusal of service exhibited by the General Manager, Mr. Espinoza, and his employees at the Oracle Verizon store. It appears Mr. Espinoza, General Manager, and his employees have refused to assist my mother based on her age and her ethnicity. read more
