They work hard to get the speed they promised. It involves a roof antenna for cellular service. They have military discounts, ask about others. They have phone services as well. Don't do satellite because of the latency impacts on calls and games. For stable internet with promised speeds, you cannot go wrong with Bluespan. They use top of the line equipment and include wireless routers. You can change plans. Truthfully, I have had had a few outages usually during weather events, but it is about the same or better than other providers. Check them out, especially for rural internet service in Tucson.

[another fiber optic equipment cut] If I look back at the last 20 months or so, there have been 4-6 major (many hours long) outages (that I recall) that impacted my system. Most of these were system-wide, though one or two were just this area. I think we can safely say they are not actually achieving the 99.9% uptime (and I'm not even sure that's a very impressive number of 9s) they are claiming, in my area, over the last month or two, if not over a longer period of time. I'll revisit this review in 1-3 months since I think the company is better than this. When the system works it is a good value, and is welcome considering our options are limited down here in Rio Rico, but there have been way too many outages this year, notwithstanding they might say there were too many factors outside of their control. In addition to the other suggestions and points we have made to the company, I wonder if it would be useful for them to go after compensation from companies that cut the lines they are using.

Verizon corporate is what is on my mind today. When I originally purchased the phone, I tried to activate it, I got a system error. That was approximately a month ago. Fast forward to today. I went to the corporate Verizon store to have them activate the phone. They could not activate it either. Same system error I got a month ago. In that intervening month, the phone got a pinhole in the lower right corner of the screen. Which of course gave Verizon all the excuse they needed to deny replacing the phone that has not worked since day 1. Let me reiterate this...Verizon ( a multi million dollar for profit company) denied to replace a $200 phone that they confirmed had not worked since the day I bought it... I have never had this experience with Verizon before this, & I do not think that I will be giving them the chance to do it to me again. I have been a loyal customer of Verizon for many years now. Yet I now find myself questioning that very loyalty when the that loyalty is obviously not returned. It is with a heavy heart that I can no longer recommend Verizon as an honorable company. Corporate greed & the almighty slavish adherence to capitalism at the cost of everything else. Had cost them my good graces & any future business that I might have given them. Adam was very belligerent and belittling. Adam called the Cochise county sheriff office and told them that I had made verbal threats against them. Talked with the Cochise County Sheriff office and relayed that no threats were every made to Adam or his staff and all I have been trying to do over the last four months was to get the billing to stop and to get thier equipment back to the company. I would never consider doing business with this company ever agian.

I sent him a number of texts and one with a photo showing what is left to be done (put it back like he found it) and he gave me a time he would come back but he was a no call/no show. I reached out to a field manager who sounded like I startled by calling him as he was out of breath and discombobulated and struggled to get his bearings to ask for my address. I've had service with Rincon Wireless for a couple of months now so I think it's appropriate that I…read morecan give a review. Service has been exemplary, the advertised 25mb down and 15mb up is what I get on a regular basis. There are occasions where that speed is exceeded. This is a fairly new company and there's rare and but occasional issues related to Growing Pains. They just added another circuit which increased bandwidth and did the cut over in the early morning hours (4am) so as to minimize downtime for the customers. The only negative experience I've had would be the time from the initial contact to installation. In my case it was about 4 weeks. I will however say that it was well worth it compared to any service I've had in Tucson/Vail before. No one can beat their price. The owner is great to work with as are his technicians. I wholeheartedly recommend Rincon Wireless.
