    Had a great call my tech was Doug. He explained everything that he was doing as we have AV company…read morethat the two are gonna work together. He did everything at his end explained it to me as much as I could understand, but left me notes for the AV company that they will understand. He is a professional, personable and knowledgeable. Ask for him. He's a pro.

    The 800 531-5000 number & several other numbers suggested disconnect the call after confirming…read morephone number. Went thru new service. They don't want anything to do with helping after sale. Finally reached agent after going to other departments. 4 hours later I still don't have answer to my issue. Each person I spoke with was obviously referencing a manual and did not know what they were doing. Was told several different solutions- none of which worked. Then spent 1 hour on phone with agent to help me use the microphone function on the remote. First person obviously reading manual. Couldn't help me. Next, supervisor had me reboot this, and try that. Only to discover the customer has to sign into their Google account, effectively making my TV into a computer to use the mic feature. I don't want Google involved with my TV. Didn't have to do this with previous service with Cox. I am SO MAD I switched from Cox. No amount of savings is worth this frustration. Worst decision I have made in a long time. I…read morecalled Century link 6 times (45$ for life no contract I've had over 5 years) my streaming was difficult ,speed slowed down , slower than ever. Thanks for answering! I'm told I need to buy or lease another modem for a 100$ , I refused , then transferred to loyalty Dept in Guatemala City . Seemingly competent rep tries to upsell me the faster service , mine was fine for 5 years ? Then I need to buy new modem 100$ I refused so they made concessions . Called back to confirm the changes and no extra charges , off shore agent drops my call?? No call back ? This new modem and up selling similar to new programs on the iPhone that slow it down so you need to buy the newer model? So much for one price for life? I'm a " global " person but it's hard to understand ? Sometimes I feel like I'm playing a " shell game" in the street , you think you resolve issue , your bill comes and it's not what you agreed to? That's why I called back , but call was dropped by agent. Corporations like politics are infected with greed, ego & power? Update sixth call maria in loyalty Dept in Boise Idaho solves & clarified issues said the agents off shore probably didn't know how to read coded information ( or would not take time to decider coded info) , thank you maria in Boise!     Wow - how rude and inconsiderate!! I literally had to call…read moreCox's main number to get ANY assistance from this Cox store! This store doesn't answer their phone calls go straight to voicemail! I was literally in front of the store right in front of the main entrance doors - in my car with my windows down - I am sick with a cold - wearing a mask - I asked the TWO employees who came outside... speaking to them through the open passenger side window...to Help me as I was trying to return a new modem still in box - I was trying to explain to them I didn't want to go INSIDE the store because I didn't want to get anyone sick - and could they talk to me for a second.... NOPE - one just ignored me and went back inside the other told me to go next store to the UPS store and have them mail it - what?! I'm literally right here sitting in my car with a box in my hand ...what do you mean mail it and I'm not trying to go into any store... I'm sick with a cold!!!! I don't understand why she just couldn't take the box from me ? then she just took my first name and said she would tell someone inside the store. But wouldn't it take the modem from me?! I told her I'll give you my account number and my name and phone number she wasn't interested ....I sat there for probably 10 minutes sick in my car with the windows down trying to give them back their modem trying to be respectful of people in the store and I got treated like dirt!! I had to call the main number of Cox explain what I was trying to do...they had to call someone inside the store and then finally someone came out to grab the box. Honestly I was really super pissed off with this experience!! How rude!!! The new modem was for a rental unit I have and the tenants didn't want me to install the new one until they move out which is in May I had to return the modem because I was about to be charged for it $240 I literally drove 30 minutes to go to the store waited in my car with the window down until I saw an employee came outside.. they were opening the door for customers to leave .... The door opened onto a sidewalk and my car was right next to the sidewalk ....what else could I do except say "hello can I talk to you for a second I'm trying to drop off this modem" since I couldn't talk to anyone in the store because they do not answer their phone!!! I'll be switching to T-Mobile Internet!

    I was convinced to upgrade my surround sound, Internet, and connected devices. I turned in my old…read morerouter/modem for an upgraded one with an extender. However, the extender didn't work with the one they ordered me. On a Monday, the technician came in but couldn't connect my service. After disconnecting it, he couldn't reconnect me, leaving me without service for all my devices, which are over 30 in my home. This company uses call centers to service customers, and they're nothing but liars. They promised to make up for everything that happened and make it right. The technician came in on Friday and connected the SAME equipment that was here on Monday. I was down for about five days without service to my cameras and all my devices in my home, including my surround sound, TV, and more. I had cut the cord years ago and went wireless, so I thought everything was fine (my call initially was to figure out how to speed up the reaction of my)until I was convinced to upgrade I was told that what I had did not cover the amount of devices I had in the house. The solution Center they used were too busy to sell me more things that I didn't show interest in because they weren't fixing my problem or getting me connected. Just like the big outage that was read about, my outage was just as bad, but it was just my home. The technicians who couldn't service me lied because they know you can't trace them and they want you off the phone. They're in call centers in foreign countries with my card numbers and personal information. Who knows who's behind the phone? It could be a technician or our salesman, and they act as both and can't figure out how to get the systems up and running and you connected as a customer they guess they lie and want you off the phone and again it's a language barrier. I have nothing to say about this company regarding its services and its ability to service customers satisfactorily. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Look at their stocks and their decline in customer service. Their Board of Directors must be scratching their heads as their wealthy owners wonder what's going on with their company. They need to start listening to customers more. It doesn't have to be "the customer is always right," but Verizon is no longer the big dog on the block. Just like AT&T used to be the big dog in town, Verizon isn't what it used to be, and that's a fact. I see them going down, merging, being bought out, or just folding. They promised me twice that they would adjust my monthly bill this last month, but nothing has changed. There are a bunch of liars who don't keep their word to their customers, and there was no making up for the loss of my services monetarily. They still wanted my monthly payment though. If you're looking for an Internet provider I would look elsewhere there are better companies those that can service you hear on shore not offshore. Oh and good luck to you.
