Customer service is exceptional here and the sheer volume of odd ends of electronics is MIND boggling! They even had computer parts from the 80's!? Recommendation: Absolutely!! They called & told me they only had 1 - OC2 (understandable) & I said fine, just adjust the order/refund for the 2 missing tubes, no biggie. What I then received was 1 - OC2, 4 - OA2, and 1 - OB2, some RCA, a Sylvania and a "Conn" (life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get). All looked pretty rough, dirty & very bent pins. I have not tested them yet but at best they may test as NOS, but are definitely used, not NOS. When I called to correct the order, I was told "you received the correct total number of tubes, so we cant refund. You need to send back tubes if you want them replaced". Considering this was their mistake, and that we're talking about tubes that are worth, at most, $9.50, I had assumed they would send out replacements for the 2 - missing OB2 tubes, and either send a return postage slip, or just say "keep the tube you didn't order". But, I guess that's not how they roll. Anyway, lesson learned. I wont bother them with my business again.

I returned to the store and the technician (I did not get his name) worked diligently to fix the issues and was successful. He ended up replacing the camera part (pictures were blurry after the battery replacement) without charge. Simutek wanted to charge me $150 to replace the battery and instead I paid $75 at GW. I was surprised when they said that they use Apple parts, but my phone detected non-Apple parts. It is working fine and it is an old phone - so I imagine I'll be replacing it once it completely konks out.

Smart Switch was not installed on the outer screen, so I could not complete the transfer myself. I explained that I needed both phones back by Friday so I could return the old device to Verizon and was told that the data transfer would be done that day. The store notified me that the phones were ready so on July 15, I picked them up. I paid a $30 diagnostic fee and was charged an additional $129 for the data transfer. After seeing that my contacts had transferred, I assumed that all of my data had been transferred. However, once I returned home, I discovered that only my contacts and photos had transferred. None of my apps, Notes, passwords, documents, or other important data had been moved. When I attempted to charge my old phone so I could try to complete the transfer myself, I discovered that my phone would no longer charge. (Prior to leaving it with Gamer's Warehouse, the phone was fully functional aside from the inner screen.) I contacted the store and was told to return at 9am when the store opened so they could complete the transfer by the end of that day. On July 16, I arrived before the 9:00 a.m. opening time but had to wait until approximately 10:15 a.m. before technician Ramsey arrived and opened the store. I explained that I had paid $159 for a service that had not been completed and reminded him that I had to return the phone to Verizon the following day, again asking him again if he would be able to copy my data. If he could not complete the service, I would need my phone back in the same operating condition I had given it to him the day before so that I could find someone else who could complete the service. Ramsey informed me that my phone wouldn't charge because he had removed the battery (without my knowledge or consent) which he stated had "exploded" and somehow caused the inner screen to stop working without affecting the rest of the phone. He could not explain how a supposedly failed battery was consistent with the phone functioning normally before I left it with them, nor could he explain why I was never informed that the battery had been removed before I picked up my phone. He also could not explain why the phone was not returned in the same condition in which I left it. He then told me that a driver had picked up the battery so he did not have a working battery to use in order to complete the data transfer. When I asked why Smart Switch had not simply been used for data transfer if replacing the battery had restored functionality, Ramsey had no explanation. Smartswitch would have easily transferred all of the data within minutes. Ramsey then stated he could still perform the transfer but would first have to attempt to contact whoever picked up the battery and have them return it to the store. Ramsey was becoming increasingly loud, abrasive and agitated. Given that the service I paid for had not been completed, my phone had been returned in a completely inoperable condition and Ramsey was becoming increasingly aggressive during our conversation, I no longer felt comfortable leaving my devices with Gamer's Warehouse and left with both phones. I then went to Verizon. After explaining the situation, the Verizon employees told me the circumstances appeared highly questionable. While at Verizon, I called Gamer's Warehouse on speakerphone to request the return of my battery in case Verizon needed it. Ramsey responded by personally attacking me, making inappropriate remarks, and yelling at/over me throughout the conversation. Rather than addressing any of the above concerns, Ramsey insisted I did not need the battery returned and claimed Verizon would accept the phone return without it. I requested that he notify me when my battery was ready for pickup and ended the call. After witnessing the call, the Verizon employees recommended that I file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. As a result of my experience with Gamer's Warehouse and Ramsey, I was without a functioning phone for most of the week, paid $159 for a service that was never completed, received my phone back completely inoperable with Ramsey having removed the battery without my knowlege or authorization (theft by conversion) and most importantly, important documents, filings and information going back to 2017 has now been lost forever. This experience is especially disappointing considering I had previously paid Gamer's Warehouse $450 to repair the same phone's inner screen only months earlier, and that "repair" clearly did not last. Never once was I apologized to or offered a refund for the service I never received. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Gamer's Warehouse for any reason. Gamer's Warehouse is unprofessional, the workmanship/service incompetent, and the customer service abusive.

I contacted HDTV City because they are an authorized KEF dealer. I was looking for a pair of KEF…read moreM500 headphones that had just been released. Chris answered the phone, I told him what I was looking for and that they seem to be hard to find even online. Chris basically tells me if they're out there he'll find them and he'll beat any price I find; in store or online. He calls me back the same day, tells me he's located the headphones and offered me a very competitive price. Even Amazon was only at "pre-order only" at this time. I didn't take Chris up on his offer immediately. Because no one has these headphones on display to try, I didn't know how they'd feel or sound. Professional reviews raved about them, but I wanted to see more real world reviews. I was debating if I should just take the plunge and just buy them; and be one of the real world guinea pigs. A week passes and a few people on online forums took the plunge and tested them out. With even more great reviews, I contacted Chris and told him I wanted them. Chris placed the order for me and the transaction was fast and easy. There are a few vendors online now that have them in stock and ready to ship, but I chose to order from Chris still. I appreciated his no nonsense customer service right off the bat. He is also really friendly and laid back. Also I get to support a local business. There's no high pressure sales even after he shows you he'll beat any price out there. If you're looking for those hard to find items or higher end items that Walmart, Costco, Bestbuy etc. don't carry, go find Chris. Even if you're not an electronic geek looking to spend thousands on a TV or thousands on speakers, Chris carries and can order a wide range of products. He even advertises in front of his store that he'll beat Bestbuy, so why not give him a try.
