I took my Iphone 11 to GW for a new battery. The battery was replaced but some issues surfaced with my phone that were not previously there. I returned to the store and the technician (I did not get his name) worked diligently to fix the issues and was successful. He ended up replacing the camera part (pictures were blurry after the battery replacement) without charge. Simutek wanted to charge me $150 to replace the battery and instead I paid $75 at GW. I was surprised when they said that they use Apple parts, but my phone detected non-Apple parts. It is working fine and it is an old phone - so I imagine I'll be replacing it once it completely konks out. read more

What out when you enter this business, I took my phone to see if it could be done through their service. Needless to say, I was told, " What do you want your old phone back . I went in to have my iPhone 13 Pro repaired and after spending $350 the phone was installed with 3rd party parts after I was specifically told that everything was authentic Apple. After it was repaired I took it to Apple for a battery change and they told me that the back glass and the screen and camera were all 3rd party items and that they wouldn't repair my device as they did not want to work on non-Apple parts. This is besides the fact that during my back glass replacement they broke my screen and charged me for it. My phone was no longer holding charge. I initially went to batteries plus but they referred me here. Given the holiday it took a while to get the new battery shipped but overall it was a good experience! The only issue discovered after the battery switch was that my tap to pay no longer was working but I wasn't too concerned. Once I dropped my phone off they repaired it within 45 mins. I paid 105 which is better then paying for a new phone altogether. I would recommend them! They also sell games and collectibles. Very cool whole in wall kinda place. read more

I was in need of a new battery for my iPhone 14 PRO and Alex and his designated repair technician were EXACLTY THAT: ALL PRO! From the moment Alex answered the phone, to the in -store greeting, he was precise, super polite, friendly and efficient. Less than one hour later, the iPhone was ready and check this out: I wanted to return unrelated items to a different store in the Tucson Mall, but realized my only receipt was on my phone! It would be a perfect use of time to walk all the way across to the other end of the mall while I waited for my battery replacement. Alex immediately suggested I connect my phone to their air printer as he entered the passwords necessary to establish that connection. He printed two receipts for me (gratis, no less!) and I was on my way. People like Alex make doing business a pleasure and obviously I won't hesitate to return. I've had to go back 4 times now and the durations have consisted of 2-3 hours. He even requested to keep my phone for repair overnight and the proceeding morning when I went to pick up the device it was still not ready. Overall horrible experience and overcharged repair. My iPhone 13 was acting crazy. I had intermittent problems accessing the Internet and also making phone calls. Siri was not working right and Google maps was also not working right. I took it to the Apple Store and they said it needed a new antenna. They wanted to charge me $500! A good friend had recommended I try this place. Ian did a diagnostic check on my phone for $30 and he told me there was nothing wrong with my phone. He recommended I get a new Sim card. So I went home and called my carrier. My carrier told me to remove the Sim card and they helped me activate an eSIM in my phone. All my problems were then resolved with my iPhone 13. I think this shop does good work, and most importantly, is honest. I called Gamers Warehouse back to let Ian know what happened and to thank him. I will not hesitate to take any of my Apple products to this shop for any repair. I'm disgusted with the dishonesty of the Apple Store and I'm gonna write a negative review for them. read more

For the people who need a short a sweet review: Do Not Trust This Company They Will Scam You! For those who want to read the story here you go: I went in to get my Pokémon Ruby internal battery changed, as the battery had dried up. Im pretty skeptical as these games are pretty expensive to buy now a days so I went in to ask and not only did they tell me that they've replaced batteries before but that they do it all the time. I dropped it off and a couple days later I got a call telling me that the battery was replaced and everything was working well, which was awesome to hear it was short and easy process. So I went out, got the game and brought it home only to find out that the internal battery was still dried as the message popped up immediately on my GameBoy! I thought it was an honest mistake so the next day I brought the game back to let them know that it hadn't been changed and the repairman told me "oh you still have the save data on it so the battery is fine". For those who don't know some of the Pokémon GBA games internal events are processed through the internal battery and once that battery dries up it can no longer go through timed events (such as berries growing, tide changes in certain caves, etc) the game save date is stored on the actual hardware itself. The message of the games internal battery goes away once a new battery is installed. So when I brought it back and explained to them that very thing, the same repairman advocated how the battery was fine since there was a save data on it and the internal battery message was something else. I knew he was ignoring me and going off his own self perception on how things go but I told him to please just put a new battery in. Couple days later got another call telling me that they had fixed the issue and that my game was ready. Low and behold they didn't change the battery and took $30-45 in the process. Seeing how other people have been scammed in these reviews I must tell you all to NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. read more

They have a large collection of classic cartridges, consoles, and controllers for vintage consoles, which all appear to be in excellent condition. Charged us to replace the batteries in two phones. Was told that they do not use Apple brand, but the brand they do use is just as good. Sounded pretty normal for a third party repair place. Called a couple of weeks later to explain that we did not have improved battery and they health meter for the battery on the phone still showed the decreased health. I was told this is normal and it will take a while for the phone to recognize the new battery. Fast forward to a year and we took one of the phones in to have a cracked screen replaced. They advised us that our battery was damaged and sent us a picture of the original Apple battery. Come to find out neither battery in either phone was replaced. Called the store to request a refund and was told by the "owner" that we had 90 days to realize it was not working and request a refund. He said that when a battery is replaced it will show the new battery at 100% and that's how I'd know it was new. I explained the conversation I had about the health meter and he said "Oh ok. Well you had 90 days". Owner honestly did not care that we had been charged for something we never got or that we had reached out about it and were told that our experience was normal. Will follow up through other means for resolution. Will not find it by trying to work with the store. read more

At one point in time I was a patron at Gamers warehouse and a supporter of this business. As of today I am not. The reason why is the way they treat the privacy of their customers. A few months back I sold my PlayStation 4 to them and regretfully forgot to wipe the console before handing it over to them thinking that since this is a fairly reputable business they would wipe it before reselling it. I was wrong. Not only did they not wipe it but they left my account logged in letting the next owner have all my private info such as my name, address, and most importantly my credit card information on file. The next owner of the console went on a little shopping spree with my information and when the system logged him out for an update he was dumb enough to FIND ME ON FACEBOOK and ask me for my password info. My attempt to contact the business was a waste of time. When I was trying to find a resolution the employee that answered the phone stated that it was "our fault and your fault too". This left me dumbfounded. I generally expect this kind of behavior when selling something on Craigslist but never from a business. The employee never offered to find a resolution for the issue and kept stating that sometimes they forget to wipe the consoles. Which is not a very comforting thing to hear. I was told to "have a nice day". So yeah if you feel like having some 14 year old take your credit card for a spin because an established business forgot to wipe your personal info from your console swing on by Gamers Warehouse, they have great customer service too where they basically tell you that you're at fault and you can kick rocks. read more

This place told me they could fix my broken PlayStation, charged me nearly 300 dollars, and have now had the console for over 6 months, telling me "they're waiting on a part to get in" in May, then never calling again. They do not provide updates, if you want to know what's going on there, you have to call yourself and work with whatever excuse they give you. If your console is broken, you're better off just paying the $1200 they charge for new ones as opposed to trying to get them to fix it. read more

I took in a PlayStation 4 1t. They said 2 days they had it a month and a half. All it needed when I took it in was a HDMI port. They put in a new HDMI port...... supposedly. Then they said a chip was burnt......then when I call a week later.....all the sudden my mother board is fried. Would have to say they fried it. Otherwise they wouldn't have put in the HDMI or the chip. Then they give me a supposed referbished P4......and it gets hot and glitches. They have terrible customer service. Went to get my phone screen replaced and they used an aftermarket screen to repair my phone I was 100% in aware about this when I called and was told it was on their website but was never told that over the phone. Then when they offered to fix it with an OEM phone screen, it was dirty and the speaker was really quite. I also have a message saying "your display may not be a genuine Apple part" which now I can't even take it to Apple to get it fixed because it is not considered Apple anymore. If I could I would give this place 0 stars. The guy seemed like he didn't care about the customers didn't offer refund and lied to me about my old phone screen not working. Well, less than a week after replacing the screen on my iPhone6, my phone fell out of my pocket and the screen broke again! Mind you, I have a Tech21 case, and a screen protector, so I was a bit dismayed this happened - it shouldn't have. Remembering the warranty that Gamers Warehouse gave me (free replacement within a certain period, as long as I had the screen protector), I promptly returned to the store and asked to have my phone repaired. They looked at the screen and said sorry, the impact occurred outside the screen protector area, and we will have to charge you $110. Well, that was $20 more than I paid originally. Then the owner said that was their cost. At that point, I knew I was being taken for a ride, so I politely left. The screen that broke was a third party (cheap) non-Gorilla glass knock-off. I headed up the road to the Apple Store. Turns out, Apple was happy to replace the screen with the exact same original Gorilla Glass screen for $129. That was $19 more than the imitation knock-off. Now, here's the good part. Apple inspected my phone, told me there was bad news and good news. They said my phone didn't pass their internal inspection, so it needed to be replaced. The good news? They replaced my phone for the cost of the screen. And, its under Apple Warranty. Gamers Warehouse lost me as a customer. Its a shame. They should have honored their warranty. Or at the very least, offered to replace it at a discount. They did neither. If you need an iPhone screen replaced, spend the few extra bucks and go to Apple. read more

After 4 TRIPS (5 HOURS OF DRIVING BACK AND FORTH) AND 8 DAYS AND 2 TRYS for an ipad screen that was supposed to take an hour, I went in to try to explain my situation to the "owner". Then 30 seconds into our conversation he INTERRUPTED me, SHRUGGED said an insincere sorry and walked away. I tried to come up with a reasonable and fair partial reimbursement for the ridiculous inconvenience he offered me $10 (which would not even cover gas for going back and forth 4 different occasions and would equate to $2 an hour for my time not including gas). After reading the reviews I decided to take my phone in to have it looked at. It had not been discharging when plugged in and I wanted them to find out why. I thought maybe I needed a new battery. They charged me 30.00 plus tax and said they would call me. (Although I don't know how since I left my phone with them) I stopped back by the next day and they told me it was charging. They returned the phone to me at 1 percent charged gave me a cable and plug and sent me on my way. Turns out all they did was plug it, saw the charging light blinking, unplugged it and waited for me to come in. It cost me 30.00 for them to return the phone exactly as it was. They did not bother to replace the battery or take a look at the charging port. When I went in to ask for a refund the manager went in the back room and did not bother to come out and talk to me even though I asked for him by name. I had my screen fixed on my note 8 yesterday. They used a used screen that had two chips in my phone. They never disclosed this and i noticed it when I cleaned my screen off (it was given to me with finger prints all over it). I took it back in and expressed my concern over the chips. The guy that repaired it is really awesome, and nice, but he cant really do much bc hes just an employee. He apologized and put a screen protector on the phone. But it has fallen off the next day. ***BEWARE-DO NOT GO HERE FOR PHONE REPAIRS!*** I took my iPhone there to get the screen repaired. I called the store from the SAME phone with no issues prior to any "repairs". They replaced my screen with a screen that was lower quality than an apple screen, this was both visually and physically. The screen has a gleam and haziness that apples does not and the touch sensitivity is lower. But I figured this was the price I paid for taking my phone somewhere other than apple. So $93 later I get home, go to bed and go to work in the morning. No phone calls were made during this time. The next morning I'm at work and my team is attempting to contact me and my phone has no audio coming through. It was only when I used speaker phone that I was able to hear the person on the other end. So to sum it up, my phone went to Gamers warehouse with a screen issue and THATS IT and left with a speaker issue. My husband calls, the manager says they're open until 7(the online hours are listed as 8) and I get around the corner nearing the store at 6:08 and their closing the gate for the store... Called, no answer. So glad I drove 30 minutes to get closed out before they were suppose to close. The next day we go back and they have my phone for an hour before calling my husband asking for another $100 because the "motherboard" went bad...and it would take a WEEK to fix. We proceeded to the store to speak in person as the guy at the counter is explaining that "when we take the back off, sometimes it depressurizes and causes the seal on the motherboard to come lose and malfunction." So I asked why I needed to pay another $100 for something they're aware was damaged during their repair process. They stated that they weren't responsible for anything that they damaged during the repair and that's what we signed for when getting the screen repaired. The guy told us that this happens all the time, so which I asked if he meant they broke customers phones all the time and he couldn't give me any form of real answer. Needless to say, they did not repair my phone. I did not give them more money and my phone was repaired through other sources. They were also wrong about the problem and the resolution was simple and done for free. Now the question is whether this was done on purpose to drive more revenue through causing repairs to be needed or was this done by ignorance? Either way, I wouldn't trust these people to clean my screen let alone perform any further repairs after what's happened. I sincerely hope this place shuts down. read more

They will work with you on pricing and are willing to do fair trades. Have been to this store frequently since I discovered it tucked into the corner of the mall, and have traded in games, purchased games, and requested repairs - and was never disappointed! While the selection of games is still limited, the prices on games and accessories at Gamer's Warehouse are notably more modest than those at other retailers. For instance, brand-new recent releases for PS3 and PS4 are generally $45 to $50, with their used counterparts being marked down to $35-$40. This lets you trade in your used games for the latest and greatest games with almost no hassle, as opposed to other retailers like GameStop that will give you nearly negligible trade value in conjunction with normally very high prices. In addition, I recently brought in a damaged PS3 controller for repair, and asked them to fix it without expecting much. They were able to repair the controller almost overnight, and I picked up the perfectly functioning controller the next day. I was impressed with the workmanship, as well as the inexpensive repair fee, and will be bringing other electronics in if they end up on the fritz! Overall, great place to trade, shop, and repair your electronics! I went in a while ago to ask about repairing my 1st generation 3DS because one of the top bumpers were broken. I called and asked the day before, how much and long it would take and the older gentleman stated same day service for $25-$30, so I was all for that. I went in the next day and a younger gentleman said it would take a week to repair it, and it was almost twice the price of what I was told the day before. I can understand if they had to order a part, but I got absolutely no information as to why it would take so long, and why the price shot up so high. This is NO joke. there are things you need to know about this place IF you want to get your iPhone fixed. Took it there for a screen and battery. Everything worked, just the screen was scratched and battery a little weak. Went back three times because Proximity Sensor didn't work, Fingerprint Reader didn't work and then Sound didn't work properly. Now: Fingerprint reader is flaky, Sound doesn't with with combo headphone/mic. The screen, by the way, is after market and looks horrible. These jokers broke my phone - simple as that. Save the repaid money and buys a used iPhone online or something. read more

Brought my HP Pavilion to find out why battery was not charging. I paid $30 up front for diagnostic. I explained the issued I was having to the clerk, but he gave me a paper and asked me to fill out. I was told I'd get a call either by close of business that day, Saturday June 9 or if not, by closing on June 10. On June 11 I made a call to see if the diagnostic had been completed. I was told it had and that a battery would be needed. I asked about the cost and length of time it would take to get it. I was told it would be 3-5 business days. I was told that the $30 fee I'd paid would go toward the cost of the $79 battery. 5 days later I had to be the one to call and check to see if it was in. I was told it was not, that E-bay deliveries were not as quick as Amazon. The clerk told me it could be today when the mail came or tomorrow. I waited 24 hours and again called. I was told it was in and they would need the computer 1.5 hours to install it. When I checked out, the clerk wanted to charge me $79. There was no notation on the invoice that I'd already paid $30 and that amount was to be deducted from the cost of repair, so he had to check with a manager. I feel the customer service was less than satisfactory. The flip comments about Amazon, the inability of another clerk to understand my questions or answer them, the lack of tracking my $30 fee, the casual tossing of my device in its' back on the floor when I brought it in were all very concerning to me. read more
