This place was recommended to me by a friend, and I will forever pay it forward. This is the only place I trust to replace my phone screen. I've had them replace so many phone screens that I'm almost embarrassed to go there anymore because they recognized me the last time I went in. I'm trying really hard not to drop my phone for long enough that they'll forget my face. They always replace the screen at a fair price (it's not cheap but that's to be expected), and quickly to boot. They also offer well-priced glass screen protectors to go over your nice, fresh screen so that you can break that instead. Highly recommended! read more

After doing a bit of research online, I decided to take my iPad to Compucel to have the glass replaced. I couldn't find any pricing online, but I knew what the competitors were charging. I also fully expected to have to leave it for the afternoon, but no, Luis was able to replace the glass in an hour. He did it quickly, meticulously and for an extremely reasonable price. About a third less than competitors. I used the money I saved to purchase a heavy-duty screen protector and he threw in one for my phone too. Of course he installed them too. I can't believe how much clearer my screens are now. And I still spent less than if I had gone to the competition for just the glass replacement. If I should need any repairs to my portable electronics in the future, I will drive straight here! I cannot recommend Luis and his business highly enough. read more

Where to start with Compucel? I came here for the repair of an LG G3, boy was that a mistake. I was told over the phone that I would have to order the part, when I went into the store to do so the guy didn't even understand what I was talking about. My screen was broken but he seemed to believe I needed a new back button. Finally, after multiple times explaining what I needed he determined that I needed a new screen and ordered it for me, telling me it would be in on the 6th of May, I payed and was told they would call me when the screen came in. The 6th arrived and I didn't get a call, I called them the next day and they told me they didn't have the screen, and once again took my name and told me they would call when it came in. Several days later I called once again and the owner Luis told me they didn't have the screen. I told him it was supposed to be in on the 6th so he checked the tracking number for me and told me the screen was delivered but he didn't have it. I then requested that he call the post office to see where the screen that I payed for was, because he seemed to not care at all. He said he would call the post office and call me back in a few minutes. This happened on the morning of the 11th and by the afternoon I had yet to receive a call from them, so I went in requesting a refund. When I arrived there was a sticky note on the door saying be back in 20 minutes, so I ran other errands and arrived just in time to see Luis the owner arriving with lunch. I went in explaining the situation and he told me that he called the postal service and that my item had arrived and was delivered somewhere else but he didn't know where... So I said I want a refund, and he refused to give me one because... THEY ORDERED THE PART ON EBAY! What kind of company thinks that ordering parts off of ebay is a smart thing to do? He also told me that they have a policy that says they are not responsible for any shipping errors, which of course I wasn't informed about in the beginning. When I requested to see the policy he brought out a half torn customer receipt and told me that the shipping policy was on the other half that was torn off...... So I never even saw it. I told him i wanted to cancel the ebay order and get my money back. He told me that it would take a few weeks because it was through ebay, I went ahead and canceled and requested that he sign my receipt saying I would get my money back when the money was returned. In the mean time he told me he would go to the post office tomorrow and find out what happened because he couldn't leave the store today, but I guess he could go get lunch! I asked if he would waive the install fee for the awful service and untimely actions on their part and he refused. Today He called me telling me he tracked the screen down I went in and picked it only to find that they ordered me the incorrect screen model for my phone... Thanks for the headache and waste of time Compucel! The people who have reviewed this place must be friends and family because this place is far from professional. read more

Horrible experience, served by Mr. Luis himself. I had two screens to fix and thought it would be nice to support a small business owner. I called one weekend and he quoted me a great price, which went up the following weekend by about $50 total. Still less expensive than Batteries Plus, I thought we would give him a try. Without authorization, he installed the wrong screen on one phone because he was out of stock, and said he'd order the right one and throw in a screen protector with it. Well, he didn't, and he didn't return a voice mail asking about it either, and both new screens are already broken. Save yourself the time and money and skip this establishment altogether. read more
