History
Established in 2007.
Smart Parts PC was founded in April of 2007. When we first began, we focused on computer repair and sales of computer parts, such as CPU's, Hard Drive's, RAM, etc... In 2010 we became an authorized reseller for Acer and shifted a better part of our business to selling new and refurbished Acer laptops and Desktops. We took our business online and started selling on eBay with a lot of success, and more importantly, very happy customers. We always kept a high seller rating on eBay because of our fast shipping and great customer service. In November 2015, we opened our first brick and mortar store and introduced a new line of gaming PC's, the "Axiom" Gaming PC. We are very excited to have opened here in the Old Pueblo. We know that the same awesome customer service and great pricing that we offer on eBay will be a big reason why we will be successful here in Tucson.
Meet the Business Owner: James G.
I have been working on computers since 1999. I got my start when a family friend got me into the business at age 19. I learned a lot working for him and found that I had a knack for working on computers, including building and repairing them. With his tutelage, I was able to hone and grow my skill set. Over the years I have kept up to date with the latest technologies. In this industry, you must always be learning.
In 2008 when the economy started to tank, I was laid off from a company that I had been with for years after it too went under. This was the catalyst for Smart Parts PC. I had always done computer work on the side and loved every minute of it. With this layoff, I took the last $1000 that I had and poured it into Smart Parts PC. I started doing some IT work for a couple of local businesses under the Smart Parts PC brand and selling on eBay with much success. Here it is over 7 years later, and I'm opening my first retail store. I'm very excited to be able to serve Tucson.
