I have a big bundle of service. Pay dearly for it. The past month, they have stopped providing ABC. The local station, KGUN, has the biggest reporting team and the best newscast. David Muir is the most watched national news. Unavailable. NFL draft. Unavailable. Upcoming Super Bowl, will that be unavailable as well? The news is what an old guy like me values, and they just quit carrying ABC. They say they want to avoid a price hike...like they don't mind being high priced? Give me a break. They don't offer any refund to those of us paying for a service we are not getting. Consider this before doing business with them. To protect their executive salaries they will deprive customers. Xfinity lied to us and fraudulently charged our account without our consent. In the course of trying to get an internet outage serviced, we were offered two FREE Samsung A36 telephones by the Xfinity service representative. He told me that we would only pay a $25 each connection charge, and other small charges on the phones. During a LENGTHY discussion I told him repeatedly that we did NOT want the phones if we had to pay for them. He stated MULTIPLE TIMES that the phones certainly, unequivocally were FREE. Under those conditions I accepted charges for what were presented as incidental fees. I was never offered a written/digital copy of the agreement. Two days later, our bill showed that we were charged for the complete amount of the phones, totaling $800.00! After MANY HOURS on chat and with telephone support attempting to correct the issue, I was told that the free phone offer was conditional upon switching from another company (also NOT DISCLOSED in the original discussion). Our phones have been with Xfinity for 6 1/2 years. I tried to get help on the matter from Xfinity, but that was absent. Finally, after reporting this to the FCC, we were contacted by a rep. The only remedy we were offered was to return the phones, which took MORE HOURS of our time. This PR rep kept trying to frame what happened as a "misunderstanding". There was ZERO misunderstanding here. I was emphatic in my refusals of the phones if they were not free, and was assured MULTIPLE TIMES they were. Nobody with Xfinity ever acknowledged the injustice we were subjected to nor took any responsibility for the lies. We were told, "I'm sorry" -- but apologies don't give me the over FIFTEEN HOURS of my time trying to resolve these issues, not to mention the stress of being lied to and defrauded. The over 15 HOURS of my time wasted included -- -- trying to get through their phone tree to a real individual who might or might not help -- being connected to the incorrect department via live chat, wasting more time -- multiple efforts to upsell us to a more expensive plan (or the fraud phone offer) rather than solve the problem we presented with -- losing phone service because their system cannot switch connections from one phone to another effectively -- a total lack of empathy on the part of PR -- no response when I after being was told I would get a call from a supervisor -- getting messages from their scheduling department with a callback number that was restricted, so impossible to complete the call -- after being promised a call at an appointed time, Xfinity failed to make the appointment -- multiple dropped connections from their end just as we were getting close to completion of tasks, necessitating repeated restarts on the process -- interminably long waits for their system to make a single change in internet or phone settings -- over a week to get each service appointment, resulting in our internet being out for over three weeks -- repair person left trash in our yard, left wiring incomplete and the box open, did not return to complete as promised -- lack of compensation for the HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS OF TIME LOST!!! We are STILL WAITING for our phones to get properly reconnected and returned to their original status. I am OUTRAGED and DISGUSTED at the fraudulent misrepresentation by Xfinity, their absurdly inefficient system, looong wait times, lack of follow through, and overall lack of care. We are senior citizens on a limited fixed income, and this is how Xfinity treated us. read more

I was told I will have my credit on my next bill! never happened so I contacted them again and they said the credit was reversed and now this time the guy couldn't even see a credit on my account! i in contact with a lawyer to go after them for mental anguish and my credit and time! I stopped in last Sunday, March 31st 2025. I was having issues with my phone. When WiFi off, could not access data. While the gentleman helping me was very nice, he didn't resolve the problem. He mentioned my phone was old, the service not supporting my phone, I felt he was just trying to sell me a new phone. We were going to be 3 days on the road heading home and having data access was necessary for our journey. Extremely disappointed. Took my phone this morning to my local Xfinity store, Vancouver WA.. Terrible customer service. Team and manager said multiple times that they "are a sales store, not a customer service store". They were dismissive and condescending. We've had Xfinity mobile since it first came out. Have had zero issues. Ordered a new phone a month ago. Said it would be here in 2 days, Bobbys new phone came right away, no sign of mine. Wasn't a huge deal because my phone was in working order. Checked on it multiple times, kept being assured it would be here soon. Then my phone broke and it became a more urgent matter. Was told the phone had shipped and ups had it, ups said they never received it. Went to the xfinity store and basically was told there's nothing they can do i simply have to wait for the phone to arrive (let's be real it's never coming). Then was told it was lost in the warehouse, then on back order and finally Monday they said they would put in a "lost phone ticket" and to call back at the end of the week to reorder. Well now they said they won't even start the investigation until the 28th. Absolutely unacceptable to not have a phone for a month, that I'm PAYING FOR. So see ya Xfinity. He was kind, patient and very knowledgeable about all things Xfinity. He answered all my questions, and I learned a lot during my time in the store about Xfinity's service and their equipment. I went to this store for a new remote for my television. There were a lot of people waiting and nno-one paying attention to those coming in. I finally just asked one of the workers if they had the remotes there and she said yes but I'd have to sign in. She couldn't sign me in but another guy said he would and to sit and wait. They sell internet service, phone service, security devices and probably more there. That means it took a lot of time with a customer to sell them and go over everything. Finally a guy came over to sign me in and I told him all I needed was a remote and he went and got me one, thank goodness. I had been just about ready to leave and get them to mail me one. He was nice and I appreciated that he went ahead and helped me right away. It took all of about 2 minutes. If you want to go sign up for services, be ready to wait quite awhile. worst service ever. I have listed 1 star only because I could not move forwad with no stars. I'm a 100% service connected combat veteran. I have been labeled a partial paraplegic. I live alone, and purchased an Apple 5 Pro Max to mitigate my living situation. recently the screen on my phone went sold green. The staff and leadership refused to help me get a new phone...it was not thie problem...trying to give me a phone number and directing me to another business. they sold me the phone...extra insurance...but refuse to help get me a new phone because of their policy. there is no direct value I good service...so Xfinity...only sells phones and insurance. if you are insistent with using Xfinity...buy your phone...additional equipment...and insurance from Apple; because if something goes wrong with your phone they are going to help you. xfinity only helps with a sale...so don't reward bad service. I suggest you buy from Apple and have them turn the phone on...but don't waste your time and money buying phones from a place where staff and leadership will do as little as they can...as often as they can.. read more
