They work hard to get the speed they promised. It involves a roof antenna for cellular service. They have military discounts, ask about others. They have phone services as well. Don't do satellite because of the latency impacts on calls and games. For stable internet with promised speeds, you cannot go wrong with Bluespan. They use top of the line equipment and include wireless routers. You can change plans. Truthfully, I have had had a few outages usually during weather events, but it is about the same or better than other providers. Check them out, especially for rural internet service in Tucson.

[revised 2026-09-20] Moving down from 3 to 2 stars…read more Yet another major outage in Nogales/Rio Rico last night, about 10-11 hours, separate from the one earlier this week. (i.e.: two outages this week in Nogales/Rio Rico, totaling around 18 hours give or take). I don't know the cause. Screenshot attached of their status page on this incident The actual start of the incident was about 47 minutes earlier than the status page says, in my estimation. I do not know why it appears that it took 7 hours to investigate before sending someone to the site for repairs. I don't keep good receipts but over the last 90 days I'll estimate (probably badly) 30 hours of downtime, some of it specific to Nogales/Rio Rico. So: around 98.6% of network uptime (give or take). Over those 90 days, that's one nine instead of the three nines they aspire to. I will revisit this yelp rating of 2 in 30-90 days to try to be fair to the company and see if they seem to be back on a path to objectively better network uptime numbers. [revised 2026-09-19] 2026-09-17: There was yet another outage yesterday, for 7-9 hours during the day, this time confined to the Nogales/Rio Rico area and perhaps Marana. [another fiber optic equipment cut]. I think it would be a good idea if I just estimate the number of 9s of network uptime I'm getting on a 90 or 180 or 365 day basis, and then base my star rating largely off of that. From my conversations with sales and customer service, the company really has taken (presumably expensive) measures over the last few quarters to install redundancy, as some of us were asking. So, this does amount to part of why I'm leaving them at 2, and leaving the door open to re-evaluating soon, and not putting them to 1. But the last few months also appear to show that Nogales/Rio Rico has been particularly hard-hit, and I'm hoping they can evaluate if there's anything that can be done to shore up their backup/redundancy/monitoring/maintenance in that area. Also, I used to be more dependent on this connection than at present. So, while I can wait out their growing pains, I would not blame other customers in this area from finding backup or alternative providers.

I hooked it up to a 4gb hard drive I was not using and "Poof", no more $100 per month TV bills and I now had a 4gb DVR which is good for thousands of hours of recorded shows. All the channels came in perfect except 12 NBC. I moved the digital antenna all over but no luck. So I did some research on TV antennas and came across Free HDTV AZ, and the owner TJ. He had a $50 off coupon on his website so for $250, TJ stopped by, provided and installed the antenna with pole mount, and professionally ran the cable down my wall and into my house and hooked it into the back of my Tablo! Boom, now I got all the channels including channel 12. So, $415 later (approx 4 month Cox TV bill) I have free TV! If you are a DIY person you can get an outdoor antenna and mount it yourself and save $100. If you are not a DIY then call TJ @ 480-206-2407. He also will install your Tablo for an extra $50 and your Roku $25 if you need him to. Now a word about Tablo. It is a streaming and DVR for your over the air free tv all in 1 little box. It is compatible with any streaming device like a Roku or Fire Stick, etc. With a Tablo you can stream the free TV to any TV in your house that has a Roku like device. You just download the app on your streaming device and you are in business. You can get the recorded programs at any TV too. Also you control the Tablo from an app on your phone if you want to. The cheaper Tablo I bought has two tuners. This is the 1 I bought. Be aware that having 2 tuners means you can record 2 show at the same time only. If you have 4 people in your home you might want to consider the upgraded one with 4 tuners. The quality of the TV picture and the recorded shows are HD. Truly amazing. I put up with pixelized over the air broadcast for over a year using an amplified indoor antenna…read more Finally decided to go with an outdoor HD roof-mounted antenna. Mario was on time, very professional, did a FANTASTIC job on the installation, and I am 100% satisfied with the install and performance of the antenna. Even my wife (who is very much OCD) is glad we went with the roof mounted antenna. The reception is way better than I hoped for, and we get nearly twice as many broadcast channels as we did with the amplified indoor antenna. We ran the antenna cable to our HD HomeRun DVR box which uses our router to send the broadcast station signals to our iPhones, iPads, Windows PCs, and 5 TVs using Amazon Fire Sticks. My only regret is that I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to do this. Thanks Mario!! I couldn't be happier.
