This location on tapo canyon is not a official Verizon dealer they are just a middleman just a heads up. They have trouble porting numbers and they charge extra fees unlike the one on Town center Drive. They should put signs up and not misrepresent. read more

Verizon used to be a good phone provider but it it no longer. Sad to say that I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon 2 months ago and it financially ruined me. The down right armed robbery that was done to me should have put people in jail. But, of course no one cares. read more

Marty is the best! He always goes above and beyond for us to take care of anything we need.

Visited the store today to get a new phone; ended up getting two phones. Amir was AMAZING! So patient...he answered all our questions and offered great advice re: plans, etc. While we were there, another customer came in, one who Amir had helped earlier in the day, and he was able to help him AND keep our transaction moving forward without losing track of what he was doing. I would HIGHLY recommend connecting with Amir if you need help with your Verizon plans, getting a new phone. Excellent customer service! read more

Jeremy is AMAZING in every way!!! I came into the store to upgrade my parents Samsungs and Jeremy helped me through every step of the way. He really was exceptional. He broke down all my options and helped me get the best deal. Jeremy explained everything thoroughly to make sure I had a complete and full understanding of every step we were taking and how those steps would reflect on the upcoming bills so I knew exactly what I should expect. Not only is he professional and gets the job done, helping you with whatever (phone-related) predicament you may have found yourself in, but he is also extremely personable. He's REALLY funny and kindhearted. Laughing and making you laugh throughout the whole process, making the infamously boring upgrade experience actually pretty enjoyable. Not just his willingness to help, but his willingness to WANT to help felt very genuine to me. I hope Verizon knows how much of an asset Jeremy is to this branch. Sometimes the big suits up top forget about the ones making it all happen on the sales floor. He's a real one!! I'm even thinking about upgrading MY phone to the new Samsung S22 Ultra Overall experience: A+!!! read more

Verizon - 2 new Samsung Galaxy S222 Ultra's - Mobile Phones Near Me - Simi Valley, California

I'd like to give them minus, but you never offer that. I had to file a claim and got a replacement phone. It never worked right from day one. Anyway, when I got my new phone I went into this store to request assistance, they told me it would cost me $40 to transfer my data! Since when??? I've been with Verizon 20+ years. They always helped with issue. Told them I'm 72 and on fixed income and $40 is a lot. Guy tells me that "we aren't customer service" and was just plain rude. As I was leaving, I made sure everyone heard my response to his....you are so right.....no customer service to be found here. Verizon, you are complaining about loosing customer. It's because you hire snotty nosed kids who haven't any manner nor know what Customer Service is. But, since you don't provide it anymore, why should I stay with you?? My son switched to T mobile and they offer actual Customer Service!! He loves it and says he will NEVER go back to Verizon. Wondering why people are leaving...this is it!! read more

Service today was atrocious. The clerk was on a personal phone call and continued to talk to his friend through most of my visit only getting off the phone when another customer walked in. Lied about being on the phone with his manager and was rude and dismissive. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere. Answer to business owner response: I have already reached out to your email (days ago) with no response. Just shows customer service is not important to your company. Like I said save yourselves the headache and shop elsewhere. read more

Unfortunately, This place is severely understaffed and wait times are unreasonable. The only guy working today was a tall dude with short black hair. He couldn't be anymore aloof or disinterested in taking care of customers. I had two products in hand and was ready to buy a third. After being ignored for over 10 minutes with only one other customer in the store, I put the products away, said, "thank you" To which he replied "no problem." Oh no, sir - it's a problem. You just lost out on potentially 1k of business today because I was there to buy the Samsung galaxy 21 model too. On that note, I went here in 2019 to get an s10 note plus. The kid at the time, "Sunny" I believe didn't even bother to mention that the 21 was coming out the following month. Unmotivated, careless, and incompetent employees are not exactly ideal if your actually intent on selling anything. Don't worry though - they have two chairs for you to sit in while they aimlessly drudge about the store - just sad. Good luck - the owners will need all they can get with their piss-poor employees. read more

This is not a store to deal with. They bait and switch you. I ordered a phone online and had it shipped to this store. They claim that "they have a problem with digital orders and you can cancel your order and we will help you here with a new phone..." then when you get their they try to upsell you and try to charge you more than your original order. I will be calling the better business bureau on Monday to report this unlawful scam. Do not buy from this store they are thieves. read more

Ended up coming here after the actual Verizon store had to close for the day due to a facilities issue. Richard helped me with an upgrade and adding a smartwatch. When he was done he handed both items to me sealed in the box I asked if I would leave my trade in phone with him after the transfer was done he told me to do it at home since it was going to take over an hour. I was confused why he didn't at least make sure the activation was complete but figured he had a point. When he said the total I questioned if it was just for the taxes since the total was high, he said yes . After i swiped my card he said he emailed my receipt to me, didn't ask me if u wanted it in that moment and due to the activation of my new phone I was unable to see the receipt that was emailed to me until after I went home and set up my phone. I saw that he charged me two set up& go fees equaling $65. I called the store and asked what was included in the set up & go service and he said "activating the phone, the set up, and transfer of data." I informed him that he had helped me a little over an hour ago and none of that was done for me but I was charged for it and he proceeded to argue and cut me off and say that he didn't have to do those things and that I was getting upset for no reason. He said he activated the phone on his end and let me know the transfer was going to take a while and I decided to do it in my own. And he's right but he didn't mention was that I was getting charged for HIM to do it not for me to do it myself. He charged me for services without my knowledge which is stealing. He should be ashamed of himself and should be fired immediately. Should have drove out of town to another Verizon store or just gone to Best Buy. Don't go here, they'll rip you off. read more

I have never experienced such bad customer service in my years of living. I personally am a manager at a flag ship retail store so I understand how it is in the customer service industry. However, if you are busy or short staffed all I ask my staff to do to execute good customer service is COMMUNICATE WITH THE CUSTOMER. Plain point period blank. I went into this Verizon store, I drove from CULVER CITY ( due to covid 19 most Verizon's stores are closed on Sunday ) and got there at 12:30. I could tell it was busy. One employee and three customers excluding myself, so total four. We were not greeted until maybe 15 mins of sitting inside of the store. When greeted we got a short response: "what are you here for?" Not hello how are you or be right with you or even a simple I am BUSY. My boyfriend and I responded: " Hello, we are here to upgrade our phones" The employee then stated he was busy and would have another employee come in at 1 pm and if we wanted we could wait for him. Fine, I don't mind waiting 30 mins. I gave the employee my number and said let me know when he gets there. At 1 pm we went back inside the store. I waited for him to say be right there or to let me know that the other employee wasn't there yet. It took my boyfriends stern tone ( at this point it was 1:45 pm) to get him to say something to us. The employee said " he won't be here till 2 I told you that already" Now in my years of experience you never say I told you so or I told you that already. It is rude and not the way to handle any situation in life especially in a retail setting. We responded saying " we have been waiting here for 45 mins and you haven't said anything" "Well I'm busy and can't speed up the process" he stated. We waited. 2 pm came nobody. It took the other employee another 45 mins to show up. When he arrived he was extremely rude. I've never seen someone look so miserable and somehow take it out on me and later I found out he was the manager ? when it was finally my time to be helped ( 2 1/2 hours later) the original employee took care of me and wasn't making eye contact with me and tried to rush the process. When my boyfriends mom was called to confirm us as authorized users she spoke with the manager and told him about the situation. He replied to her by saying " yeah I know I was the one who was late " and hung up on her. Not ok. When I asked him for his business card he replied in a snarky attitude " we don't have them" I asked for his first and last name " that's personal you don't need it" Ive never had such SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE. To the point I walked out and didn't even upgrade my phone. I'd rather wait and possibly switch carriers because screw that. Something needs to be done with management here because I could run this store in my sleep and I could even give you my resume to prove it to bad I am already employed with such a great company. Bottom line, don't come here ever. Not worth it. Go spend money anywhere but here. The managers name is Chris I believe. Horrible service. read more

My boyfriend and I went in to this location to add me to his account. Saying Jay and David went above and beyond to help us is an understatement. They spent hours of their time finding the best plan, switching account types, upgrading our phones, and resolving any issues that we had. They even went out of their way with preventative measures on the backend to ensure the smoothest transition. We were so grateful that Jay and David were there to help and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Give them a raise or something because they truly deserve it. Thank you both!! read more

THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE! You'll have better luck going to your local Walmart for a Verizon purchase. I was lied to in order for them to sell me a phone, was then told I can return the phone within 14 days if not happy with it, tried to return 3 days later, went in, called everyday, kept getting turned away. Ended up contacting Verizon once again, they took the phone back, yet no credit to my account for the phone and is still charging me. Stopped in today with my daughter and was greeted by Jeremy who gave us exceptional customer service I dreaded going into Verizon just because the process always seems to take a long time he was able to understand our needs got us our phone transferred all the data from the old phone to the new one and we were out of there in less that 40 minutes, everyone in the store was with someone and even when others came in I can see they were being greeted timely and professionally, as someone who works in retail I can tell you we got top notch service! read more

Great service. Very kind and took their time to understand my plan. Referring all of my friends and family this location.

I ordered a phone first thing in the morning and never got the email to pick up. A Verizon rep assured me they had several of my phone available at the Victra store. Hours later I called the store and the manager said they had it ready, but they were busy if I could wait to come in. I came in at 5, the store was no longer busy and they tried to give me the iPhone 13 instead of the 14 that I ordered. They then told me that they sold all of the 14 because the store never received my order until I called asking the status of it. They offered me a different color if I would cancel my order and pay an additional $200 in fees by buying a color I didn't want in their store. I don't think these people were trying to scam me but they are so disorganized and could care less if they waste your time. I would go to the other Verizon in Simi if you really have to go in store. read more

Got my pixel3 today in and out in reasonable amount of time. Told them I have a tight time window today. Took reasonably a bit longer but I can't be mad at it when the phone came from another store. Thanks Manny. The rest of my experience is on salesperson Hunter: 1. Hunter was helpful and savvy for my purchase and Verizon plans. He successfully sold me on the unlimited plan. Same price as before, but now the family is on unlimited data. Bring on data heavy apps!! 2. What I should have known. Overpriced accessories. Sold me on 'lifetime warranty' when accessories purchase with phone. I'm unsure how I feel about this. I guess it's good as long as my phone don't break. 3. Not a review. But the email to text verizon address is your number: ##########@vtext.com. Try it. Thanks guys. It was painless. read more

WARNING**** This is not an actual Verizon Store. This location is an independent retailer. When you shop here you do not get Verizon's customer service, but rather a 3rd party that doesn't seem to care. You would be better served to go to an actual Verizon location. Those locations can be found on the Verizon's web page. I made the fatal error of not doing my home work and shopping at this phony third party retailer. Like clockwork was told false information about products, service, & returns. Since I assumed I was dealing with Verizon I actually believed what I was told. If or more likely when you need to get a straight answer or perhaps a person that seems to put value in customer service , I suggest looking on Verizon website for a dealer.... If a no star or negative star rating was allowed, I would have given it.... read more

I don't like to give bad reviews and although the staff was friendly what I had to deal with over the past two days were absurd. I purchased a new phone yesterday and switched my sons phone as well. I was in the store for almost 5 hours. Some how in the process the stores mobile high speed hot spot was added to my account. I never purchased a hot spot! I was told by the store that it was an accident and I get that how ever it should be the store's responsibility to take care of the issue! I was told that I wouldn't be charged for any data used by the store, that was a lie. I was also told that the device was taken off my account, that was also a lie. I had to spend another several hours getting this resolved today! I had to do the foot work to fix the stores mistake! That is unexceptional. When I called the store to let them know what I had to do to fix it when it was supposed to be taken care of I felt like it was just brushed off as a simple mistake. I know in all my years of retail management if a customer had a huge problem and it was the stores fault give your customer some sort of compensation. This was a very frustrating experience. read more

So today my wife goes there to ask for help with her phone because her old one broke and she got a new one and wanted to transfer things. Well they switched her SIM card and said it's all set. They also told her the new SIM card is no good and so she doesn't need it and they can get rid of it for her. For one nothing transferred over and they said there is nothing they can do and she needs to put a SIM card into the old phone to transfer stuff. So I go back to the store for her to get the SIM card back. I talk to Hunter and he said well let me see what I can do. I text my wife and she describes the guy and I tell Hunter that's they guy over there who helped her and took the card. He continues to log onto the computer and says well let me look through the trash. After about five minutes I ask "can we just ask him?" And Hunter tells me well we don't keep track of those things but I'll try. He asks him explains and they guy reaches into the drawer in front of him and pulls it out. He asks Hunter what does he need it for and Hunter tells him I don't know. Well I overhear it and say well I own it so can I just have it back. He then says in an argumentative tone well it's not going to help you why do you need it. At this point I say again, "well I technically own it because it came with the phone." At this point he walks over hands it to me and says "well this isn't going to help you." And hands it to me. I'm a little frustrated and take my card and walk out. I guess my point is if the SIM card isn't going to work why are you saving it and two if it's mine why are you arguing with me to give me my property back that you pretty much took for some reason. Anyway careful with these guys cause apparently they want the SIM card for something what I do not know and secondly they are not helpful you are better off ordering by phone and calling support they were way more helpful and friendly. Also this is the second time I've had issues there I wrote a review a few years ago and apparently even though the employees were not the same the stores mentality where the customer doesn't matter stays true. read more

DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE! I have been a Verizon customer for over 15 years, and it looks like I'll be switching (sadly!). I bought a new phone in December at this location, and after two hours of unraveling the "promos" and "deals" being offered by the sales rep, I was relieved to walk out with a new phone and a promise of the same plan/expected bill. The only thing I couldn't shake was the "free" jetpack that the rep relentlessly pushed on me. I told her I didn't want it, I didn't need it, etc. I have wireless and a hub through my work. I would never use it. She looked me in the eye and told me I would never be charged a PENNY for it. It was simply free, no strings attached. Exhausted by sifting through her rhetoric, I resigned to finding a spot for the free, unusable jetpack in my closet. Three months later, I've spend HOURS on the phone with Verizon and in this store, trying to get them to remove the still unopened jetpack from my bill. I'm paying almost $20/month for a device I never needed, never wanted, tried to refuse, and have never used. (Obviously I'm pursuing this on principle.) I finally got a hold of Chris, the store manager today. He was rude, dismissive and unhelpful. I expressed feeling frustrated over being blatantly lied to by one of his employees, and subsequently charged unfairly for a device I didn't want. He essentially told me that it wasn't his problem as the employee no longer works there, and that I could pay a cancellation fee of $175 if I wanted to remove the device. WHY WOULD I HAVE TO PAY TO CANCEL A DEVICE I NEVER SIGNED UP FOR? Eventually he VERY reluctantly gave me the name of his district manager (but no contact information), and his first name only (which is Chris, btw). Verizon customer support was more friendly, but said I'll have to wait to hear from the district manager. I find it hard to believe that NO ONE has the power to remove this device from my bill. Oh, and there's a contract attached to it. So I can either pay close to $20 a month until December of 2017, or pay $175 to cancel the device (which I never signed up for). From the other reviews of this store, it looks like I'm not the only one they've taken advantage of. This store abuses its customers. Get it together Verizon! read more

I went into the store today for help with the sim card on my tablet and I experienced the worst customer service in my life. There were 2 young men working (I wish I had gotten their names) and both had a customer so I patiently waited. I was appalled at how they spoke to the two people they were helping. One guy seemed new and the other kept stopping the conversation with his customer to talk over or demean what the other was saying. The banter and name calling continued when the new guy started helping me. I showed him the error with the sim card on my tablet and he said he wasn't sure what it was and had never seen it before. He then proceeded to open up my active apps and websites and commentate about each one. I felt uncomfortable and that he was invading my privacy. I half expected him to start opening my emails and read them out loud to everyone in the store. He had no idea what was wrong, so the other clerk kept yelling across the office what it might be. He finally suggested the sim card was bad and that I would have to purchase a new one. I told him the one I had was put in by the Ventura store less than 6 weeks ago and that I was not going to pay for a new sim card. He then tried to sell me an upgrade when his customer kept asking him questions. They still couldn't answer my question about the sim card. I was so disgusted with how unprofessional and unhelpful they were, that I took my tablet back and walked out. read more
