The worst, I will never use this place again,. They lose phones, no one stays there as employees.

Beware of "free" or "subsidized" accessories. Have them show you every single fee they will be charging when you're upgrading or purchasing phone. I had to return $90 accessories and they said they were "subsidized" and I was getting a deal. I saw no discount on receipt and items were way overpriced. Also asked them not to include protection plan and they did it anyway. Only after looking at my receipt and first bill did I notice these things. Sales person didn't even bother to explain charges in detail. Ask for detail! read more

I am a business owner of an electrical company(Custom Electric Works), I say this on behalf of observing a good employee! My verizon account definitely needed some arranging and I've had problems before with Verizon employees trying to "arrange" things and they were big "sales pitch sweet talkers" that talked a lot instead of listening. Any how the new manager Ish is a very wise man! A man of few words but gives plenty of information! He makes sure the customers are comprehensive to everything they're explaining and he explains it short, sweet, an simple just like a business/manager should! I was having a problem with my Samsung s7 Edge in that it would continuously fail when I tried to send text messages! It happened, ironically, after a system upgrade. My son, daughter in law, and grandkids are in Hawaii, and we have to be able to stay in contact! First I called and spoke with Daniel. Then went right to the store. Daniel was/is Amazing! Knowledgeable, professional, SO helpful, and Patient !! I took the plunge, and switched to an Iphonex10! Daniel walked me through the changes, and has made it clear that he is there for me with any questions or concerns Anytime! Daniel, and the service he gives, gets a 10!! I purchased a phone charger here that was recommended by a sales person. Bought it home, totally wrong size. Found the right sized charger at Best Buy for $20 cheaper. Upon returning this back to the store, I had to wait 20 minutes. A store manager then tells me in a very condescending tone of voice, "We normally don't give cash back for items like cases and chargers, but we will just this one time". Considering we purchased 3 phones from them recently, that's a wonderful way to treat your customers. I have a business, I treat my customers like gold. This guy was a pompous jerk. Sales people who don't have knowledge and a jerk for a manager. I will be going back to Costco or Best Buy for our next phones in the future. This store reeks of no knowledge or integrity. read more

Another update. on Friday, March 16, I get the following email from Customer.Feedback@victra.com: Hi Kyle - We are so sorry to hear about the negative experience you had in one of our stores. Can you please provide your telephone number so we can discuss further? Thanks! Finally someone willing to help, right! Uh...nope. I emailed back my phone number that day, waited until the following Monday, followed up again, then waited two more weeks until April 2, asking again where the phone call was. No response. At this point I think it's safe to assume Verizon's company policy is to ignore troublesome accounts until the problem disappears on its own. Needless to say we'll be shopping around for a new carrier when the contract is up. read more

I initially had a decent experience in the store. However, when I got home and really looked over my bill I saw all the fees and products I did not want, request, and in some cases flat out declined on my bill. I was there 3 1/2 hours and their wifi was so poor they could not transfer my phone data when the direct connection did not work. I called several times and was told a manager would call back to adjust my unnecessary fees with no call back. On two different occasions Verizon called for me to advocate for the fees and products I did not want or need and denied without any resolution or response from the manager. Do not go there, you will be overcharged and charged for items you do not want or need. I happen to live out of town so also do not have the option to review in person. read more

BEWARE:This is not a Corporate Verizon store, BEWARE They will sell you 3rd party insurance without informing you of that sale, then when you have a problem and walk into store they tell you, they have no record of your insurance purchase. I will never come back to the store again, I was supposed to come at 7:15PM on October 2, 2021 Because there's a long wait, and I waited up until 7:50PM, because these people took forever to buy two phones. And there's only one person working there that night. And when these people finally left and when I went to go up the young lady that was working that night close the gates to the store and lock the door and she said you're gonna have to come back tomorrow and "I said well thank you for wasting 45 minutes of my time" and she responded were saying in a rude tone "you didn't even make an appointment so don't yell at me" and walked away. I could've been doing other things in that timeframe instead of sitting there wasting time and this young lady need some education about customer service and I will never be going to the store again absolutely ridiculous if I can write this I rate is -5 stars this is the worst location run away from this place. read more

There is just never any reason to go to this store. There is an actual corporate verizon store a few miles away, and although they can get busy, at least when they are available they are professional and able to actually manage your account. If you need to make any changes to your account here, they just wait on hold with you while calling the Verizon customer service on the phone. Want to play with a phone before you buy it? Too bad. Here none of the demo phones are actually powered. Both times I've been here, staff has been unprofessional, and one time downright rude. read more

These people tried to charged me a restocking fee on a phone that I never even saw. They sold me a 16g iPhone which they didn't even have on hand when I came back later the same day before I accepted it I explained I would rather do the 64g model. They refused stating that I would have to pay a restocking fee on a phone that I never even took delivery of! All because I wanted to buy a more expensive model. Morons! read more

After dealing with the customer service at this store today I am definitely changing carriers. Not only were they rude but they were useless in helping me change my plan but they tell you you need things you don't need!!!!! When I came here a few months ago I changed my landline phone to Verizon. They said I need a hotspot in order to have a landline connection. Not understanding why or what that's all about it said okay.now its $10 for my landline and $30 for a hotspot. In addition to my monthly bill that's $260 for three lines( yes I'm getting screwed with that) . In the bill breakdown the hotspot doesn't even get used!!!!! So I called customer service they said I don't need to have the hotspot I can go in to any store and change my plan. So today I went in to this store and they tell me they want $150 to cancel this hotspot that THIS STORE told me I HAD to have when really I don't need it. !!!!!! I came into this location today to upgrade my iPhone. Crystal helped me and she was amazing! She explained everything to me that was different between the iPhone 4s and iPhone 6. I'm electronically challenged, so this is always a plus! I left feeling super knowledgable and excited to use my new phone. I usually leave Verizon with a full blown panic attack! Don'[t deal with the big guy Brian Tristan. He has a huge attitude and makes excuses for his mistakes and will not apologize for inconveniencing the customer. Some people should not be in customer service and he is one of those guys. When I left a friend noticed me coming out looking irritated and asked if I just got done dealing with Brian and when I told her yes. She said that was why she was sitting in the car dreading going in talking to him about her new phone that is not working correctly. The new guy was very helpful and apologetic. read more

My 25 year old son tried to return a "free" tablet. The hard sell manager told him it would increase his bill by only $10, after my son told him he wasn't interested in 2 years of $30/ mo fee for a $200 tablet. First bill was the $30. He tried to return within 14 days and was then told of a $100 restock fee. While waiting, i had the opportunity to watch about 3 other customers leave the store. The manager seems to know 2 phrases, "no" and "I don't recall saying that". Franchise store that Verizon has little authority over. Can't take product bought here to corporate owned stores. Avoid. Omg, never had purchasing a new phone ever been more fun! Gino totally ran to Canoga park to pick up a phone for my daughter. While Branden and Chris took amazing care of us. They even worked out a way for us to get my husband to finally upgrade his iPhone 4 (yes you read that correctly) without damaging out wallets nor our phone bill. Thank you so very much you three. Staff was helpful. I went in to upgrade my phone, and found out that they are no longer able to continue my Unlimited Data, which I am Grandfathered-in to. However, they informed me that if I purchased a phone on my own, and brought it in for activating, I could still keep my Unlimited Data that is rightfully mine. I purchased a phone off eBay, returned to the store, and they were able to give me a new sim card and activate the phone. I got to keep my Unlimited Data and get the new Galaxy S6 Edge, only setting me back $700 instead of the $200 it would have cost me if I was able to upgrade in store... While Verizon Wireless is a horrible blood-sucking greedy monopolistic company (I short their stock out of spite), the people who work here are pretty chill. Plus they let me bring my puppy in so I didn't have to leave him in my car. read more

came in with my 85 yr old mom to transfer her old flip phone to a iPhone 6 my brother had his carrier was ATT.they told me I couldn't do it because Verizon simm card won't work on this phone due to the carrier was AT&T even tho AT&T' unlocked the phone and it was now open and clear for Verizon to connect it to my account Drew then proceeded to try and sell me a phone I didn't want to buy a phone I had a free one I wanted to turn on for my mom every time we said no thanks he would say okay hold on let's see what I can do then wanted to sell me a cheap phone that' wasn't a IPhone I said no no no and he kept up trying to convince us to buy a phone.. I walked out and went to Verizon in Westlake and within 15 min my mom's flip phone was connected to my brothers iPhone.. I was taken advantage of we were older women and a target to just sell us a phone! The new staff here is great! They work together as a team. I was there for about an hour getting multiple accessories as well as a phone plan. A lot of customers came in within that time frame and all I saw was polite, grade A customer service! Nobody waiting in long lines like Tmobile down the street! Ask for Trevor or Ish. So I recently switched to Verizon from having T-Mobile for 15 years. I did not buy the phone from this location because my company had purchased it directly from Verizon. So I took my old I phone in this location just to see if they could switch everything over for me. With no questions asked Rosa was able to to take the time almost an hour to help me out. She is awesome and polite and also did not ignore any other customers that came in she was very quick to welcome them in. I appreciated all of her help and will be back to this location. read more

Doesn't deserve 1 star. They claim all the bad comments were from the old staff that were 'fired' but they're up to the same things. They're pushy with the products (jet pack, tablet) claiming they are 'FREE' when unknowingly they're signing you up for a 2 year contract for those devices. They say you can't make returns unless the manager is there, what kind of store has a policy like that? The Manager Ish, was arguing with me and raising his voice- so disrespectful. I've never dealt with anything like that before. I was standing there trying to return these items that were 'free' and three gentlemen were gaining up on me trying to tell me it was too late when I was lied to about them. It seems they were always waiting on the computer when other customers were there and then would argue and raise their voice when I was the only one in there. No customer service. Aaron S is an amazing manager at Verizon. I called with technical issues regarding my iPhone 5 that I purchased a little over a year. After walking me through each step of the process I was able to figure out my best options in replacing my phone. He was extremely patient and attentive to what needed to get done. Not being extremely experienced in the process of phone insurance or needing to replace a device that had gone bad, he provided the clear communication through what I could do and how I could replace my phone at the lowest cost. I thought I was getting a fantastic deal from this retailer. Long story short, I was charged $249 for a "free" tablet, charged $40 per month for the tablet that was supposed to be $10, my "free" upgrades came to $62 on my bill, after many attempts..only one call back from a manager that didn't resolve anything. I ended up calling Verizon Customer Service which was very helpful. Still waiting for $249 refund for my "free" tablet from this store. I felt taken advantage of by the sales reps(Mgr Ali & Rep Athena) with false promises & pressure sales. I don't feel they're trustworthy. I wanted so much to believe they could make this right. This store is all about selling and not informing the customer what they are selling to them. Last Sunday I came in the store because I had an upgrade finally an upgrade that I waited 3 years for.. So Melissa Leon(sales rep) helped me out and was smooth and talked me into getting the "new" galaxy note instead of the iPhone, I wasn't to sure but I went ahead and I decided to give it a shot. On Christmas Eve I went to the Verizon in the Simi Valley outdoor mall to transfer info from my iphone5 to my "new"galaxy. So 1) So the guy that was helping me informed that it will be difficult transferring info from an iPhone to a none iPhone devise and I would have to do it through my laptop, down load this app and just pretty much do it my self (I was never told that by Melissa). 2) The same guy pointed out that my "new" phone wasn't so new... Instead of getting the galaxy note5 I got a galaxy note4?!. People wait 2 years for the newest devices! Not the old versions.. Melissa pushed me towards that phone because it was prolly stacking up dust in the back and they needed it gone and she needed to sell it and make that sale real quick. And to top things off the galaxy is not right for me, way too big and screen is way too sensitive for my taste. So That same day I went back pissed off out of my mind. Gino a young man working there was kind enough to get me into the new iPhone6 with no charge and calm me down and informed me that this phone had a rebate and gave me all this info about the phone that was sold to me; info Melissa never told me about. To make matters worst as I was leaving the store after 2 hours of letting Gino hear it and trying to fix the mistakes Melissa made, I see Melissa walk out the back room and immediately go back in? Wtf?! she made her coworker take the heat for her and not handle her mistake.. Very professional. I said to Gino "she's the one who sold me the phone and she's hiding in the back?" she over heard that and not the 2 hour talk I had with Gino and Melissa storms out of the back room like a bat out of hell and tells me with a nasty attitude "I was off at 3pm so I technically did not have to help you" how sweet of her :). Melissa did not only made Gino take the heat but she gave a customer attitude and was offensive, she also was giving me the dirtiest look as I was leaving the store?!? I will never get help from this rude, misinforming, untrained individual. But once again thank you GINO. read more
