What a wonderful experience. Upon my entering, I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance. I was just looking to replace my UPS battery and was immediately given numerous options depending on my needs and wants. Christian was incredibly friendly, helpful, informative. He not only replaced but upgraded my battery and also offered me options for upgrading my UPS, as well. They also will take care of safely recycling your old battery at no cost. I will definitely be returning to pick up my UPS at a later time. By the way ... they also have many variations of lightbulbs !! So happy with this location ! Cheers !! read more

I lost my backup fob for my car. I had no idea that I could go to someplace other than the dealership to get it set up. They ordered the unit and then programmed it for me with an appointment. It was fast and easy. Definitely more affordable than the dealership. I wish I could let everyone know about this. read more

I highly recommend Batteries Plus in Thousand Oaks. Every time I have been there I get excellent service andgood advice. Recently, I asked for a cellphone battery because my phone would not charge. It had to be special ordered so I prepaid. When it arrived the salesman installed it for me. However, the phone was still not charging. He checked the port, but we realized that I needed a new phone. He refunded my money even though the battery package was opened. read more

I've been to this store no fewer than 5 times. Every time I bring a list, one of the attendants helps me collect my items (and sometimes assists in replacing batteries)...I'm out of the store in less than 5 minutes, every time. Great service, good prices, they always have the products I seek, I'd give them 6 stars if I could. JB read more

I've bought 2 AGM batteries from this location and the guys working there are honest and answer any questions that you have. I went there with my 4 runner because something was draining my battery when my car was shut off and so I thought my battery was going bad and needed to be replaced but they figured out what was going on. Both times I've been there the guys have been super helpful and honest which I appreciate. Top notch service from this location. read more

This place is a scam and be careful. I went here a while ago because my wife suggested I go and had my phone battery replaced, my phone was fine before I brought it with no issues. Before they took my phone they asked for the password which was really odd, I should've seen this as a red flag. When they returned my phone, it didn't even work anymore, it would shut off and turn back on every 10 seconds, again didn't have a problem before I got there. Not the biggest issue, the issue was that not even 30 minutes later, someone had been trying to get into my veterans united account. Luckily I have a 2 factor authentication set up which is how I knew. like an idiot I had all my passwords saved on my phone including my Veterans United password. I don't think it's coincidence that I was asked for my password, and then my accounts were all getting reset, Not all of them but after that event I had breaches in my accounts of someone trying to get in. I ended up just getting a new phone in the end. read more

Wow! Just purchased a new battery for my 20-year old Wrangler. Great product, great price, great service! Rock star treatment by the staff! Among other products & services, this is THE place for vehicle batteries!! read more

Great shop. I recently ordered an X2 AGM battery which I heard a lot of good things about. Unfortunately, the particular size my jeep needs is one that fails often so the shop calls me after I place the online order to talk me out of it and instead go with another brand. Since the jeep goes to remote locations, reliability is crucial. I appreciated their honesty. read more

They are always so accommodating. Never have to wait. And if they don't have it. They will try to order it.

Batteries Plus in Thousand Oaks was amazing the customer service is outstanding. Their prices are fantastic. I'm grateful my friend told me about this place. My Fob wouldn't work to open my doors my alarm on my car would go off anytime I touched my keys it was so annoying and a bit embarrassing, and my poor neighbors I'm sure was just as frustrated as I was. I checked different places including the car dealer and the prices were unbelievable. I'm telling you Batteries Plus prices are good. I'll just say they saved me hundreds. Fantastic service. Knowledgeable. Always have stuff in stock. Fella by the name of Jeff was helping me with 2 FIOS batteries. Knew exactly what to recommend. In and out in 2 minutes. Competitive price. An asset to the community. Keep up the good work. If all local businesses were like this one Amazon would be out of business :) 12/6/23 - got a new battery for my Sprinter (complex install with a hunch of DIY stuff I put it very poorly). Curtis breezed right through it. Quick in and out. Saved me a bunch of money. Dude should be a surgeon with those hands. This is the place to get your car battery replaced. The service is quick, professional, and half the price of the dealer. The installation is free. Make sure you tip them very well. They deserve it. read more

Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Cost for replacement was a little high but the service helped.

Battery experts, including car batteries! I had a failing car battery & it was actually my mechanic's receptionist who suggested Batteries Plus. I compared 3 prices- my mechanic's, Batteries Plus & even my AAA membership price... & Batteries Plus was the best deal/quality. Impressed! They are very nice there & do everything for you w/ NO installation fee. I would DEFINITELY go back there again. read more

Jeff and his store were so amazing when I needed my VW car battery replacement!!! I would highly recommend!

Always knowledgeable and very helpful for all my battery and related needs for remotes etc.

I'll make this review quick and sparky. #ZAP --* Phone support shockingly excellent...every damn time. #ZIP --* Tested and took in for recycling two banks of SLA batteries from a short-circuit UPS Craigslist dealio. #ZING --* Talked me into resupplying the bunko banks with an electrifying price I could not pass up. # These are good men running a good store providing a good service and value for their community. # If you read my other reviews you'll note how often unimpressed am I with service and will then apply the proper weight to this review. read more

This is the type of business you want in your neighborhood. Had to jump the wife's car this morning after it would not star up immediately. I asked her to bring the car by B&B for testing and an idea what issue we may be facing. I can tell ya, service goes a long way for a lady with young kids in the car. Batteries Plus - Store front - Battery Stores Near Me - Thousand Oaks, California

I want to give a shout out to this business. I was told by my local home improvement store that Batteries Plus in Thousand Oaks would recycle alkaline batteries and fluorescent bulbs. Well this was partly correct- they can recycle fluorescent bulbs but not alkaline batteries. I had come from Simi Valley to recycle my batteries. The young gentleman was so kind to me - not only did he tell me where I could recycle my batteries in Thousand Oaks - the library - but also where I could recycle my batteries in Simi Valley. He will get my business if I need any specialized batteries. I really appreciate how he went out of his way to help me read more

The best, best, best! Jeff and his associate (I don't recall his name) were patient, caring, empathetic, helpful, quick, friendly, and made the entire servicing as easy as possible. I had a 12v battery for my 2002 Toyota Prius tested, it failed. The warranty was good for a year, it was a bit past the year. They honored it by swapping the battery, quickly, and I was on my way. I strongly recommend this shop. read more
