Awesome service here! I love supporting independently owned businesses in America, and this one is a great one. Super friendly service, owner is super honest and transparent about what can and should be done with your cell phone repairs. And also about what your best option would be financially (repair/purchase new). After I broke my phone by dropping in the water in Mexico, he recommended I just go buy a new one instead of paying him to fix it when it might malfunction again from the water damage. Also have bought some used phones here and they lasted multiple years! Great company. read more

Fast, one of the cheapest locally, and reassuring quality. Walked in for an Iphone XR broken rear camera glass lens and was repaired within 5-10 minutes for $65. I could hardly tell that the lens wasn't originally on the phone and there wasn't any problems with photo/video quality. I asked for quotes from other local places: the Quick Fix at the outlet quoted $40 but had mix reviews on experience & the We Fix It still quoted for $129 and they told me they had to order the part. Right when I talked with Alex on the phone, I could tell that he had a lot of experience since had asked questions the others didn't such as was it just the lens itself or the housing damaged as well. read more

I stopped by yesterday during regular business hours, but found that the shop was closed for the day. The note in the window said "Sorry for the inconvenience." I figured that something came up that couldn't be delayed, so tomorrow is another day. I came back today about 2:15 PM and found the neon OPEN sign was lit. Hurrah! But when I got to the door I found another sign: Be back at 4:30. Sorry for the inconvenience. Two days in a row? Really? Woody Allen has said that 80% of being successful is showing up. I have no doubt that South Coast Wireless does fine work, but I'll never know. read more

Alex and his Alex Jr offer a great service. My I phone scree cracked and the speaker was hard to her anything. Alex Jr fixed while I waited. He is awesome and I strongly recommend him. Fast and fairly priced. read more

STRAIGHT UP SHADY! Went in yesterday to get my iPhone serviced. First Alex told me it was gonna be $60 to fix. Opened it up and told me he needed to replace my screen and it would cost $120. I then told him that I would like to keep the original screen as it was still in perfect condition. I requested a new working home button, he said $10 more. Upon completion of service, i was charged $150??? 120+10 is not 150. For the moment, my phone was working and I left somewhat satisfied. After 10 minutes, my phone went black and died again so I returned to see if he could help me, and he basically told me no refunds no warranty! If he knew something was wrong with my phone, he could have told me in the first place, rather than "attempting" to fix it, only resulting in more damage and in turn taking my money. I then asked for the screen he did not give me the first time!!!! Shady business practice and poor customer service. I feel as if I were robbed. If i could, Id rather him take his replacement screen and button back and him refund me the $150 he stole from me. Please take your business elsewhere if you support honest businesses. I do NOT recommend coming here at all... read more

DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!!! I have an HTC One M8 I called a few places and they told me they could not fix it or it would be $130 to fix but when I called south coast Alex Jr. told me $85 so I was like koo. When I got to the spot the older man Alex Sr. told me it would be $125 and I had to pay at least half. So I did and the following Monday Alex Jr. calls that the part is in so I took it in. After I sat waiting for about an hour and a half Alex Jr. tells me the screen wont turn on and that it could be a defective part. So I leave my phone and he tells me the part will take three days. I called the next day on Tuesday around 1 and he still hadn't ordered the part. I call again on Friday and Sr. tells me the part should arrive that day call in the afternoon and Jr. says the part didn't get there maybe tomorrow, On Saturday I call and no answer at all. I'm pissed at this point. I called on Monday hoping the part was in but Jr. tells me Tuesday maybe Wednesday. Id officially been without a phone for a week :( I asked Jr. if I was still going to be charged the full amount, his response was "well.... yea... why?" I was like really you've had my phone for a week and it was working fine other than the glass and now it wont turn on like really. He then said he will ONLY charge me $100. I then had my phone picked up and refunded. I took it the next day (Tuesday) to a spot in Oxnard and guess what that same day I had my phone back. I would not recommend this place at all, they are very shady overpriced and just unprofessional. If I could give less than a full star I would. read more

...I'm not fully finished with my review yet because the work has not yet been completed on my phone...but thus far I've had a fantastic experience! I have a brand new Verizon HTC thunderbolt and one night when I was in a drunken stupor I dropped my phone and cracked the glass on the phone and me being the person I am did not buy the insurance on the phone. I called almost everywhere and found South Coast Wireless in the yellow-book. I called and they explained that they could fix my phone for just about $100...this was amazing because I was looking at $600+ for a new phone...If all goes as planned I will totally be coming back here and referring people as much as possible :) read more

I have an old iPhone 4s and the whole back cracked. I was just looking for a new otter-box because Verizon wanted $45 for a iPhone 4s really?!?! The after market one here works just fine. Had my screen replaced and purchased the hard plastic screen cover. Picked up the phone, could not hear the caller. He forgot to remove the cut out for the speaker on the screen protector. He takes off the cover, removes the insert so the speaker opening is clear. Then he put the same cover back on. With 48 hours cover is peeling, chipping and cracking. Take it back show him and ask about any type of warranty. "Nope if its cracked you have to replace it!" To top it off, the repair was $150, my total came $165 with tax. I do not remember sales tax being 10%. CROOK!!!!!!! read more
