Dropped my three year old iPhone in water, screen turned green. Walked in at 1:15. He had the replacement screen in stock, and also fixed my charging port that hadn't been working for a while. He checked that only the screen was damaged from the water and he could make the repair. He was finishing another project up and said I could pick up at 3pm. He was fast, reasonably priced. If you have an issue with a phone or computer I recommend you give him a visit. 5 star service read more

When your computer isn't working, it can be very stressful, but the repair process was an easy stress-free experience.

iPhone stopped ringing or beeping for calls and texts. So annoying!!! Josh figured it out in less than 2 minutes. Under "sounds and hapatics" I put was on wrong setting. UGH!! Tech Person at ConsumerCellular couldn't figure it out. he's an iPhone Genius!!! Then so Sweet to not charge me! read more

Quick, easy, friendly and reasonable. What else do you want from a business like this?

One of the best places to get your stuff fix and diagnosed, other places will charger you $50-$70 for a diagnosis he doesn't. he has amazing pricing I can't recommend it enough he is really nice and overall really great. read more

He ran the diagnostics, couldn't find anything, and cleaned the PS5. No charge for this one, he suggested it may have been overheating, so I need a fan. I went home and haven't had a problem since I got the fan. read more

I agree with all the other five star ratings here on Yelp and likely other review sites. Quick response to inquiry, easy drop off, excellent pricing and returned on time as promised. Nice guy too. I needed a new battery for an aging Macbook, worth the cost as Macs are indestructible. I would have done it myself, I have the skill set necessary, and when I checked around for pricing I likely would have until I came across VenturaFix and it was worth the fee. Bonus... it's just a bit down from good ol' Pete's Coffee shop so got a nice late morning breakfast too! read more

Josh is knowledgeable and willing to take a chance to bring electronics back to life!

Fast easy service. Found out what was wrong with my iPad and fixed it. Thank you for the help

I had a very difficult problem with my phone and Josh at Ventura Fix helped me by finding the problem, checking to see how much the part would cost and helping me when I returned with a new phone which needed the contacts and apps put into it. He was so helpful, so kind and all around a miracle man! I highly recommend this business even if you just need advice. He's wonderful! And all the trouble I gave him didn't cost a lot, either. read more

There's an electronics repair place in the mall on Main Street, Ventura IProTech where the repair guy there told me it would cost me between $60 and $90 to repair my GPS. I got the feeling that he was trying to price gouge me, so walked out. Then I found Josh at Ventura Fix who repaired my GPS in minutes for peanuts! He soldered a few tiny wires and now I don't have to buy a new GPS! He's not only a nice guy, he's skilled. Can't recommend him enough! read more

I brought in an IPad with a broken Home/finger print button. For $50 bucks it was repaired in less than an hour And it came with a six month warranty. Highly recommend Ventura Fix. I am a happy customer. read more

It is honestly so rare and refreshing to run into that kind of "old school" integrity. In a world where every minor tech glitch usually comes with a hefty diagnostic fee and that's just the beginning. Josh is a breath of fresh air. He quickly fixed my phone and wasn't even going to charge me? Crazy? I paid him! He definitely deserves your business read more

I've been here a few times- to replace an ipad battery, to repair a clumsy mistake that messed up the touch controls, to have a proper screen protector installed... In every case he was patient and not judgemental, and gave me a reasonable price, so I've been consistently satisfied. Highly recommend. read more

Love this place! Honest and hard working. Josue is your guy. The only place I go with my phones.

Ventura Fix did an amazing job fixing my broken Google Pixel 8 Pro back lower glass. The phone looks brand new, and they completed the repair quickly and professionally. Shop owner is very helpful and knowledgeable I'm very impressed with their service and would highly recommend them. read more

Ventura fix was able to fix the broken screen on my daughter's iPad. Job completed in a couple hours.

I returned to Ventura Fix after about 4 years for another new battery for our iphone. We have a really old phone. Josue needed to special order a battery, and he got it the next day and the phone works well now. Josue continues to be professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. On top of that, he performs his trade at a fair price with no sales gimmicks or sneaky mark ups. Highly recommend, and we'll be returning the next time we have cell phone issues. read more

Replaced the ear speaker and battery at a great price. They responded instantly, had an appointment set within 30 minutes, and the repair was completed about an hour and a half after my first message. Fast, professional, and excellent service! Highly recommend. read more

Josue was great at giving me info on two tablets I took in to get fixed. He explained how the water, damaged the volume controls and on the second tablet the reason for it not charging properly. Prices were reasonable and he was quick to get devices back to me same day! Will definitely be back if any of my devices need servicing again. read more

Great customer service will be back again , also very fast and timely, recommended to friends and family

I highly recommend Josue at Ventura Fix if you have a charging problem with your iPad Pro like I did. Initially I brought it to the Apple store and they wanted to charge me so much that I could have almost bought a new one. I even tried another local business who ended up breaking sensitive parts on the inside of my iPad Pro when they took it apart to diagnose it and were unable to fix it. Then I found Ventura Fix on Yelp. Josue correctly identified the problem, sent me photos of the internal components that the other company broke, was able to solder on new pieces and fix the original problem all for a very reasonable price. read more

In addition to being quick, responsive, courteous and helpful online, Josué was all the same in person, fixed my iPhone immediately, and was completely affordable. (I shouldn't say what a deal he made for this old guy - and I appreciate it!). It's how people used to do business - they helped people. I used to be an Apple tech myself and business owner, so I know who's good at either, and he's good at both; honest and very pleasant too. read more

I needed a battery swap on an iPhone SE ('22). I had a 3rd-party battery and Josh quoted me a fixed price to install it. We made an appointment, he said it would take less than an hour, and it did. All good. The 3rd party battery won't offer the same "health check" features that an apple battery does, but for nearly double the capacity, that's fine. Good experience. Check with Ventura Fix if in need of repairs. read more

My friend (elderly) recently hired Josh from Ventura Fix to take a look at her desk top computer as she was having issues (unable to log on, among other things). I recommended Josh because a few years ago he was able to retrieve photos (that were not backed up) from my broken cell phone. I thought they were gone forever, but somehow Josh worked his magic and found them and put them on flash drive at a fraction of the cost other repair shops wanted to charge. My friend, Linda, was quite impressed with Josh. She told me he was very knowledgeable and really knew his stuff along with being super nice and friendly. And very reasonably priced. We both HIGHLY recommend Josh at Ventura Fix if you have any issues with your computer or cell phone. read more

Josue at Ventura Fix is an outstanding resource for fixing electronics, specifically iPhones; but more importantly he is just a kind and caring person. I contacted him for assistance with my elderly parents iPhone (which wouldn't be a problem if I lived in the same state as them - but I don't) I was a bit frantic for assistance, since my parent no longer drives. I had contacted some other shops and gotten some quotes but none of them could pick it up or meet them in their neighborhood, I explained to Josue what was going on and he offered to assist. Luckily we found another way to get the phone to him and within 40 minutes the iPhone had a new battery. His prices were less expensive than others and his support was top shelf. If you need assistance with an iPhone please call him first; I can't imagine him not wowing you with his customer service. read more

I brought my Acer Swift X in because I had a bad key on my keyboard. I bought an aftermarket keyboard figuring to replace it myself, but then when I checked the instructions, I discovered you have to go in from the bottom up, so you have to go through all of the guts of the laptop to change the keyboard. I decided to have somebody local do it, and Josue at Ventura Fix got back to me right away and gave me far away the best price. He got into the laptop and discovered that you cannot replace the keyboard alone because it is soldered directly into the housing, so you have to replace the entire housing and not just the key keyboard. Josue put it back together and refused to take any money for the time he spent checking it out. Next time I need computer repair, 100% chance I go straight to Ventura Fix without checking any place else. Thanks, Josue! read more

Highly recommended. Fixed my laptop screen within 2 days. You can't beat the price! Josué quoted me and he beat the competitors pricing by half. Seriously a sweet deal! read more

My Galaxy S10+ died the other day after 4 1/2 years of flawless use, went into a reboot loop, and never come on. Service provider and insurance were no help so I looked for a local shop. The reviews on Yelp for Ventura Fix were the best in the area so I brought my phone in to see what could be done. I wasn't optimistic but was really hoping to just be able to save data and photos. Dropped it off in the afternoon, checked back in the morning with grim outlook, and then stopped in late afternoon. Phone fixed, not just data/pics recovered but phone fixed! A small chip needed to be replaced and phone is almost working smoother than before. Excellent service, excellent customer service, and you support a local business. Hope I don't have any other electronic repairs but if I do, Ventura Fix is the place. read more
