Then my ancient Mac Book Pro (not my primary computer anymore) that is over 20 years old stopped working. I keep it because it still has the Adobe Creative Suite on it from back in the day when you could buy the software instead of paying monthly. A couple years ago the battery had died and Apple let me know that going forward, they wouldn't work on it because it was so old. Edwin was able to get it back up and running! My iphone 14 battery was draining fast and I needed either a new iphone or new battery. Went the battery route and took my phone to Gadgetfix, and it was ready 45 minutes later. Great service by Edwin. Highly recommend if you need a new iphone battery. Heads up- if you get an official Apple batter (I did), in order for the OS to recognize it, Apple makes you upgrade to the latest OS. Last night I dropped my not so new iPad down the stairs. The screen shattered.. I thought it was beyond repair. Took them to Gadget Fix and Edwin replaced both screens and attached tempered glass screen protectors (never too late to make a good decision) while I waited. iPhone was great, but iPad turned schizophrenic. Wrestled with it for a few days and called Edwin. He ordered me a new one. Thought I cracked the screen on my iPhone, but Edwin saw that it was only the plastic protector that was cracked. I didn't dare peel off the protector, because I thought it was holding the glass together. So I could've been taken for $220 replacement glass and been none the wiser. This is the second phone that I brought to Gadget fix for repairs. My son dropped his Google pixel XL and broke the screen and the back lens cover. Before bringing the phone to Gadget Fix I had called all the places around town and even a place in Ventura. There were two who said they couldn't get the parts for it and another who quoted me over $400. We took the phone into Gadget fix, Edwin ordered the parts, called me when the parts arrived,fixed it in an hour and a half and charged me less than $250.
