Edwin is great, giving friendly and expert service. He provided immediate and fast replacement of the phone protective case and screen protector at a very reasonable price. At no additional charge, he cleaned all ports in my phone. My 4-year-old phone now functions like a new phone. read more

I've had a few repairs done to iPads and iPhones. Every time the price, professionalism, service and skill are as they should be. I highly recommend GadgetFix. read more

I have been here twice and the service was great, issue fixed, on time. The pice was good as well.

This is the second phone that I brought to Gadget fix for repairs. My son dropped his Google pixel XL and broke the screen and the back lens cover. Before bringing the phone to Gadget Fix I had called all the places around town and even a place in Ventura. There were two who said they couldn't get the parts for it and another who quoted me over $400. We took the phone into Gadget fix, Edwin ordered the parts, called me when the parts arrived, fixed it in an hour and a half and charged me less than $250. This place is straight up the best in town for repairs. read more

My iPhone screen was shattered, but still usable for 3+ months....When pieces of glass started getting stuck in my finger, I knew I had to stop putting this repair off. It was an easy decision to go to GadgetFix after checking their other reviews, and getting an instant response to my quote request. Couldn't have been an easier, faster process. They were done in less than an hour, and the price was fair. I've recommended them to all my friends and family. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else when you need your screen reaplced. read more

I would highly recommend GadgetFix for any and all your IPhone or Mac repairs. I went in for a MacBook battery replacement. The service was prompt and the pricing was the best in town. Other options were looking to charge $100 and $180 more for the same service. read more

5 stars!! They replaced my cracked iPhone screen in less than 30 minutes for the lowest price in town. The facility is clean and organized, and there is parking in the back. Thank you so much! read more

My iphone was really cracked in the front to the point where it was typing on its on, it was horrible. I ran out of apple care+, so i came to this place because I saw the good reviews on yelp... and it for sure lived up to its expectations. Paid under $100 for it (which is much more cheap compared to what APPLE was trying to charge me) and I received it looking like it was brand new. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough!! The best thing is that it took only an hour and a half to fix my phone. Super direct and kind service. I will be sure to come back here if i break my phone again. Thank you guys!! read more

Several years ago, I found Edwin :) Posted a 5 star review. He's perfect for me; non-judgmental about the fact that my handheld devices are not the most important things in my world, and occasionally, I dropped them. Today, years later, Edwin is now "5 stars Ulta Plus" (if that's not a thing, it should be). I stop by the shop with every imaginable question &/or problem. I buy screen protectors from Edwin because I know if he sells it, then it will actually protect my screen! Edwin and I have a bright future ahead of us and the good news...I'm happy to share. read more

I am so happy with the service Edwin provided. I requested a quote online and he replied quickly. We agreed on a time for that very day. He asked me a lot of questions about my problem so that he knows exactly what to do. He repaired my phone in a little over an hour and it looked good as new! He even cleaned the ports. I highly recommend Edwin and I will return in the future. Trust me, your products are in good hands. read more

Edwin runs a tight ship. I called at noon about my IPad screen that was shattered, I had it back the next day as if it never happened! A+++

I am not one to normally write a review, but this time deserves it. My phone was run over by a car(that's another story) and front screen was shattered. I searched Yelp, called 5 minutes before closing and Edwin said he would wait for me so he could repair even though I wouldn't be there for another 10 minutes. Repair took 15 minutes and my phone worked perfect, plus repair fee was very reasonable. The moment I walked in his shop I knew he would do a great job given how the store was so clean & organized including his work area which I noticed when peeking around the corner. He has so much pride in his work(well deserved), he even sells ball caps & t-shirts with the company logo. Highly recommend. read more

Don't throw away your iPhone just because Apple Store says "there's nothing we can do." In fact, don't even waste your time going to an Apple Store, it's 100% worth it to see Edwin first. If your phone is damaged, he has a solution for just about anything you can throw at him. Twice now, he's managed to salvage my iPhone X. Once replaced a screen even though the screws were stripped. Second time he got it running after a tiny bit of water damage made it so it wouldn't start up. He's priced right, it's done quickly, and you'll save an arm and leg compared to a new phone. Bonus: he's a nice guy. read more

I have nothing but high praise for the staff and their expertise/ ability to troubleshoot & solve technical issues. I highly recommend them read more

Had a need for a screen repair on a brand new iPad done fast. Spoke to Edwin and he made arrangements to get the part overnight so we could have it back repaired ASAP for an overseas trip. His followup was great and to go above and beyond like that was rare to find these days. You can tell Edwin takes pride in his work and that means the best job done for you. read more

I found this place due to the good reviews on Yelp but when I went there to get my iPad repaired they acted like they didn't want to do the work and then told me it would be approximately the cost of a new iPad. They said I should just forget about fixing it and buy a new one. So deflating! Then, my son told me about one up by CVS called iGeeks. He said they were really good. I didn't have any expectations, they were almost closing when I got there. But they repaired my iPad for free and it only took 30 minutes! read more

I broke my phone badly - cracked screen and the entire image was black. Touch screen didn't work at all. Broken so badly a backup was not possible. I thought it was beyond repair but I walked into GadgetFix and they turned it around in less than an hour, for a reasonable price, in the middle of a pandemic. Highly recommend. read more

Do not bring your business here. Incredibly rude and wasted my time. Owner tried to hack my iCloud account. Acknowledging this "review" as seen below. I brought my phone in to be checked out and let them know that the phone screen had broken so I therefore could not "use the phone." I let the gentleman know that I had removed the phone from my iCloud account but we both agreed upon the possibility that it might still be in my name. There was indeed a password on the phone which I provided. The shop man told me it would be hours to check out the phone to see if it was a phone that actually worked, and agreed upon a price for the phone. This is when I left the phone with him, leaving with it acknowledged that I might have to come in to the shop again to truly unlock everything. He even agreed to meet me in Goleta where we both live and he bailed on me then, leaving me in the dark having just given my phone away essentially I had no idea if I was even going to get my phone back. Nasty exchanges of conversation was handed over to me through the letgo app after not giving out my iCloud password so he could go in and wipe the phone (without me being even being paid yet.) we were supposed to meet so I could wipe the phone and finally be paid but he bailed and never got back to me. I finally just had to drive all the way back downtown to pick up the phone to be greeted with a dishonored business agreement. I even wanted to have my Mac fixed by the gentleman since he was willing to buy my old phone but after this exchange I wouldn't trust these guy with access to any of my electronics. read more

I've never left a review for a business that I didn't actually end up going to, but this experience deserves it. I gave GadgetFix a call with a question about my broken iPhone to see if they might be able to help. The associate I spoke to went above and beyond to advise me, and actually sent me to the Apple Store because he believed it would be more economical for me to do that than to come to GadgetFix. Really appreciate this level of help! read more

As the other reviews indicate, GadgetFix is a fantastic local company and Edwin is competent, capable, and conducts his business with total integrity. We're lucky to have him and his repair shop in SB! read more

Best in the business. Had another stellar experience today and I had forgotten that he found me a newer phone for an excellent price a few months ago. read more

I thought I had killed my Andoid cell phone. The counter guy at a local big box didn't have any new phones in stock that I might have wanted so he couldn't sell me one, but he suggested that my phone might be repairable at a fraction of the price of a new one. Having passed GadgetFix when driving on De la Vina I knew where it was but nothing else about it, but I thought I'd give it a try. Edwin took one look at the phone, told me he could fix it by the next day if he could get the needed part. It was late in the afternoon but he was able to order the part from his supplier while I waited. Less than 24 hours later he called to tell me the phone was fixed. It looks brand new and is working perfectly, saving me time, money, and aggravation. If only other service and retailers were so knowledgeable, skillful, and reliable. read more
