I had a screen protector put on and when I got home I noticed it had air bubbles trapped under it. I planned on going back but with the rain and life it took about 2 weeks to make it to the store and by then I must have knocked my phone against something and shattered the screen protector. I've returned to this store about 5-7 times now for minor repairs. Yes, they've been relatively fast and convenient, BUT unfortunately they've frustrated me a few times by not owning the fix of the problem 100%. Once they put a non Apple battery in my phone which caused me problems because it invalidated the warranty with Apple which was required to get an upgrade. What a hassle to get the bad Apple battery put back in which could have been avoided if they would have just informed me upfront. Most recently, I've had to return twice to get a screen protector re-applied (latest time being after only after half a week). Rather than just say, "darn that shouldn't start peeling off so quickly" and replacing it (protectors are ridiculous high profit margin for these shops), instead I was actually told that I must have done something wrong to make the screen protector delaminate from the phone. Wow, maybe I'm holding my phone incorrectly, or i'm looking at it wrong, or perhaps I'm using too many apps that is delaminating the phone. It was just a ludicrous claim to make! Having foolish pride so that you find ways to make the client/customer wrong is particularly bad marketing strategy as I walked out the door saying I would never return! My time is more valuable. I'll seek out and spend more with professional phone repair groups like Apple or mobile providers that will just own the problem, fix it the first time, and earn my future loyalty. read more

My Apple Watch needed a new screen and battery, and my Apple Watch Series 4 is working great now. After talking with the owner, the pricing was reasonable and the repair did not take long after the parts came in. Apple Support was not very supportive though. The Apple Pay feature was disabled after the watch was repaired, because I didn't go through Apple, which would have jacked the repair up to almost the price of a new Apple Watch. ($360). Apple Support was not transparent in their explanation until I talked to several "Senior Advisors". They don't want any local businesses to work on their products. My son dropped his iPad and cracked the screen. The iPad was old, and difficult to service. These guys were fast. They had to order the part, but they were still faster than Apple or BestBuy, and significantly more affordable. Unfortunately, the iPad wasn't completely fixed; but it had to do with a defective replacement screen. Dan very politely told me my phone was repaired brushing over the fact that the screen was NOT ENCLOSED and is exposed down the entire side of phone. Got the phone home to realize that the phone doesn't operate with a SIM card as well! Texted Dan to inform him of this problem. He tells me all repairs are final even though he gave me a phone that was partially repaired (he did repair the software portion) and doesn't function. Also offered to return "used" screen which incorrect for phone according to Apple. Data was backed up, needed badly damaged phone to function. Can't get Apple to warranty phone because it has the wrong screen (Dan refused to let me give it back to him). $160 for incompetent repairs plus approximately $600 for useless phone equals $760 dollars! I brought my phone in for a cracked screen, and the guy took 2 hours and literally THREE separate tries (after trying to hand it off to me as fixed 2x) to get the new screen working. I decided to purchase a screen protector from them, and regret it. The screen protectors are pricey and ineffective; mine cracked the entire screen under the protector after a 1ft fall off of the couch. Big surprise, iGeek takes no responsibility for the failure of the screen protector nor offer a replacement. Felt like a rip-off to be honest. Mark did an incredible job replacing my screen and even put on a screen protector for me! It was very timely- About 30 minutes.
