They replaced the cracked lens protector on the ultra wide angle camera lens of my iPhone 13 (I had dropped my phone one too many times). The pictures still show a lens flare like in a J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie. They say that it is from the lens itself, though the problem with certain pictures look different than the distortions in the previous pictures before the repair so the explanation doesn't make sense to me. So...now, I just have to deal with the one wide angle lens for all my photos unless I want a lens flare (glare). They denied me service for my phone; which was under warranty through Samsung. I had the phone for less then 7 months and it was cased the whole time I owned it. I was told my phone was to damaged because I had micro scratches on the edge of my phone caused by the case it was in. I have a Z folder 7, with articulating parts. ( The opening and closing of the phone most likely caused the normal wear and tear) They told me they would not fix my phone and Samsung would not honor my warranty unless my phone was flawless and mint condition, even though my phone only had normal wear and tear. Their advice was to pay them to repair my phone because the minor scratches voided my warranty. I sent my phone directly to Samsung via mail in warranty and my phone was fixed at no charge. This company is unprofessional, have horrible customer service, and lie. They are not specialist. The people that work there just need jobs and have no technical expertise. They literally told me their authority is the same as Samsung regarding my warranty but Samsung fixed my phone for free no issues. read more

First off I want to say that I really enjoyed all the people who work there and they always fixed my phones proper and we're just nice people in general. So I went to go pick up my Bose amp that they worked on because and wasn't paying attention to the time. Apparently I walked in the store, 10 minutes early and as I'm waiting for someone to come out from the back, the manager comes in from the front with the trashcan. He immediately gets upset with me and tells me to leave the store now, so I left and came back about an hour later Carlos the manager already has my Bose amp waiting behind the counter, picks it up and tells me I'm never allowed to come in his store again and that i was trespassed. If you don't want someone to walk into your public store, you should leave the door locked regardless I don't think I deserve to be treated like that and was really upset because like I said, I really enjoy all the people who work there I left the store feeling very awkward I even brought the guy a 27 in one screwdriver set as a gift of appreciation for working on my Bose since they usually only do phones needless to say after I took off the 10 sheets of saran wrap, the part wasn't even fixed so thanks for nothing Carlos! read more

I contacted the company's customer service (after a terrible experience at their Ventura store) they arranged for me to have my phone fixed at their Oxnard store. The Oxnard store, esp. Carlos, was really helpful : they replaced the screen and the battery at no cost in 45 mins., as the battery was leaking and may have affected the screen. The battery problem could have been caused when the Ventura store repaired the screen they had broken when fixing my charging port, or not, but the Oxnard store replaced it for me anyway. The upshot is, go to the *Oxnard store*, they are very knowledgeable and reasonable, explain very well what the issues are with your device, and try to be as helpful as possible. Also, uBreak's and Asurion's customer service representatives were very helpful when I related my experience at their Ventura store. I'm still giving the Ventura store one star, but I give the Oxnard store five. read more

If I could give a no star rating I would. ( Please Read) I take in a switchLite to get a screen repaired that is it. I get the screen repaired that took over a week. We get it back and NOW, the Auxiliary don't work and the battery will not hold any charge. We take it back they spend over 2 weeks trying to fix. We get it back once again, not fixed Auxiliary still not working. They give me a call after another 2 weeks. Saying they can't fix it. I call HR make a complaint they say we will replace it. They send over the wrong switch and it's USED!!! Scratched, controller don't work, and battery doesn't hold charge. I will be seeking legal action, this is RIDICULOUS!! read more

I broke the screen on my Pixel 3a XL and had a nice experience with uBreakiFix, Oxnard location. There are no phone repair centers in Hawaii to service my phone, so I had to send it off anyway and I chose uBreakiFix over sending it to Google, the price was more affordable and the Next Day Air shipping both ways was appealing. uBreakiFix got my phone on Tuesday morning, fixed it, and turned it back over to UPS that Friday to come home. Not sure why it took several between receipt and repair since they advertise repairs within hours (if you live near a location), I suspect they had to order the screen replacement, or just prioritized in-person customers. I'm not sure. In any event, the phone came back with a shiny new screen and looks great! The UPS schedule added a lot of time to the whole process though. I gave UPS the phone on Saturday 8/29, uBreakiFix got the phone Tuesday 9/1, they fixed it and shipped it back on Friday 9/4, and UPS delivered it to me Tuesday 9/8. tl;dr This location has great customer service and an awesome turaround time. Carlos has the phone looking brand new again! After only 3 months, my wife's Galaxy Z Flip3 5G screen suddenly cracked at the crease and the next day the top half stopped responding. It's a known issue, so Samsung's warranty covered the repair cost. Samsung asked us to send it in with a 2 week turnaround time, which was too long. Looking online, we saw that other Flip3 users were referred by Samsung to Ubreakifix and Best Buy as Samsung repair centers. We confirmed with Samsung's customer service who told us to head to the nearest Best Buy. We live in Goleta, so the 1st Best Buy we stopped at was in town. They told us they weren't a Samsung repair center and said we'd have to drive to the Oxnard location. Drove an hour there only to be told they are certified, but Samsung didn't send them the diagnostic tools. It was the Best Buy employee that recommended we try Ubreakifix, so we came here and are happy we did. Dropped off the phone at closing time Saturday and got a call from Carlos on Tuesday around 5:30pm that he finished the repair. I told him I wasn't sure I'd make it by closing time, 7:00pm, but he assured me he'd wait for me. Managed to get there just before closing and the phone is like new. Drop off went well, I even ended up agreeing to their discounted phone screen purchase + application.
