Excellent service, repair information and advise! We were able to get phone fixed same day before 5pm, we went in at 2pm!

It was not a great experience at all for a few reasons. My main issues I had with them was poor communication, snail-paced work efficiency and poor customer service. It took them roughly 3.5 weeks to "repair" my Ipad. However, they didn't even repair my Ipad, they actually gave it back to me in a worse condition saying there was no point in returning it to its original state since they couldn't fix it. I emphasized how I left my Ipad in great condition and it isn't fair that a literal device repair shop returns my personal belonging, damaged. The employee did not offer whatsoever any help to repair my Ipad of the damages they added onto it, and showed absolutely no concern over it either. Might I add, the issue the employee said they couldn't fix is fixable at another location so I have absolutely no idea why this employee thought it was okay completely giving up on my device (on the damages they added). They did offer to fix the screen once it starts working again... with a charge. I asked if it was going to be discounted at least and he said yes but probably not the kind of discounted I am looking for. I definitely wouldnt recommend this location when it comes to Ipad repairs. read more

I brought my ipad to get fixed, but felt like it got worse. They said 2-3 days, ended up being with them for 7-8 days. When I picked up my iPad it was okay then when I really checked on it, that's when I noticed a bump in the middle and it doesn't press on. I went back and the guy checked it and agreed with me as well. The clerk said to call the insurance company and do another claim... so what did they do with my iPad ???? Broke it even more? Now I have to file a claim again! What a hassle! read more

Got my phone back and it was hacked. Can't access my email anymore and having to go through loops to get access to it. They also couldn't fix my phone and returned my device with error message that pops up constantly of it not being fixed and told me my only option was to pay for another phone. This was a Verizon partner through Asurion. They should NOT be partnered with this company!!! read more

Tyler the manager is simply amazing. I took my phone in had major issues because I dropped it in the water camera didn't work anymore. Tyler had the parts in house took him 20 minutes to swap out the camera. He's got a great attitude. He seems to like working with the customers, you won't find another manager like him. He did an outstanding job and I will recommend all my friends and family to go see Tyler with their phone needs. read more

They were okay. They fixed my Apple watch battery but it took them almost a month after they said 2 weeks.

They replaced the cracked lens protector on the ultra wide angle camera lens of my iPhone 13 (I had dropped my phone one too many times). The pictures still show a lens flare like in a J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie. They say that it is from the lens itself, though the problem with certain pictures look different than the distortions in the previous pictures before the repair so the explanation doesn't make sense to me. So...now, I just have to deal with the one wide angle lens for all my photos unless I want a lens flare (glare). Thanks for being there for me, but it's really just about time for a new phone. read more

I went to this location of uBreakiFix in Onxard rather than Ventura (tho I live closer to) because of the rating of the two places. - I got a quote a couple days before going and Carlos and the team was very helpful. Carlos explained the process of the battery replacement for my iPhone 12 Pro Max. Cost was cheap and took around an hour and 45 mins ish. - The battery replacement in my opinion better than the first time I got a replacement but it was a 3rd party. uBreakiFix uses OEM battery from Apple, which is something everyone should aim for since 3rd party are always iffy and cause my phone to having problems. - I recommend this location and much thanks to Carlos for my repair. 5/5 read more

~ I went in because I had put together a DIY desktop computer, but it wouldn't start up, just the logo would light up, nothing else. ~ I was assured the problem would get fixed promptly, and I would save money by subscribing to a Asurion membership. ~ I was told it was the power supply wattage, and I needed a new one. ~ I was happy at first, and also requested a diagnostic, bios update, and Win 11 installation. Which they told me would take a week since they were backed up from orders, and were severely understaffed. ~ They told me a week later that it was still in the queue and would take still another week since they were still backed up, and smart phones had a priority. ~ Then I read the Asurion documentation online on the UBREAKIFIX site, which clearly states that it takes a month for the Asurion membership to activate after a device gets registered, and there would be a $100 service charge as well. ~ I got so frustrated with UBREAKIFIX that I went to go get my computer, 'AND' nothing had been done with it, for two weeks. ~ The only good point about the whole thing is that I understandably didn't get charged for anything. read more

Took over 2 weeks to get my laptop back. I understand that parts can take time to come in, but they never notified me about the delay or when it was finally ready. They said they did, yet I did not get any calls and have no reason to lie about that. Having to call in myself only to keep hearing it would be ready in a few days when it wouldn't was very frustrating. After picking it up finally, they said they would not give me any sort of discount for the inconvenience they caused. I use my laptop for work and this costed me a lot, so the least they could have done was take accountability and offer to make up for it. No apology for the delay either. To make matters worse, I ended up having to go back because they left the WiFi antennas disconnected, which shows the lack of care and respect for their customers' time and convenience. Personally, I won't be coming back but my intention for this review is that management takes these points into consideration and improve so others do not have the same experience. read more

They denied me service for my phone; which was under warranty through Samsung. I had the phone for less then 7 months and it was cased the whole time I owned it. I was told my phone was to damaged because I had micro scratches on the edge of my phone caused by the case it was in. I have a Z folder 7, with articulating parts. ( The opening and closing of the phone most likely caused the normal wear and tear) They told me they would not fix my phone and Samsung would not honor my warranty unless my phone was flawless and mint condition, even though my phone only had normal wear and tear. Their advice was to pay them to repair my phone because the minor scratches voided my warranty. I sent my phone directly to Samsung via mail in warranty and my phone was fixed at no charge. This company is unprofessional, have horrible customer service, and lie. They are not specialist. The people that work there just need jobs and have no technical expertise. They literally told me their authority is the same as Samsung regarding my warranty but Samsung fixed my phone for free no issues. read more

walked in today with nothing broken and an I Phone in hand, nothing Samsung in sight on me, was greeted with a friendly "How can I help you?" by Tyler. First off I want to say that I really enjoyed all the people who work there and they always fixed my phones proper and we're just nice people in general. So I went to go pick up my Bose amp that they worked on because and wasn't paying attention to the time. Apparently I walked in the store, 10 minutes early and as I'm waiting for someone to come out from the back, the manager comes in from the front with the trashcan. He immediately gets upset with me and tells me to leave the store now, so I left and came back about an hour later Carlos the manager already has my Bose amp waiting behind the counter, picks it up and tells me I'm never allowed to come in his store again and that i was trespassed. If you don't want someone to walk into your public store, you should leave the door locked regardless I don't think I deserve to be treated like that and was really upset because like I said, I really enjoy all the people who work there I left the store feeling very awkward I even brought the guy a 27 in one screwdriver set as a gift of appreciation for working on my Bose since they usually only do phones needless to say after I took off the 10 sheets of saran wrap, the part wasn't even fixed so thanks for nothing Carlos! read more

Visited the store again for another repair. I specifically asked for a phone call when the repair was complete. They called to ask a follow up question and I again asked for a phone call when the repair was complete. I never received that call. A lack of staff at the store contributed to this issue. The one guy working was overwhelmed with customers. read more

I contacted the company's customer service (after a terrible experience at their Ventura store) they arranged for me to have my phone fixed at their Oxnard store. The Oxnard store, esp. Carlos, was really helpful : they replaced the screen and the battery at no cost in 45 mins., as the battery was leaking and may have affected the screen. The battery problem could have been caused when the Ventura store repaired the screen they had broken when fixing my charging port, or not, but the Oxnard store replaced it for me anyway. The upshot is, go to the *Oxnard store*, they are very knowledgeable and reasonable, explain very well what the issues are with your device, and try to be as helpful as possible. Also, uBreak's and Asurion's customer service representatives were very helpful when I related my experience at their Ventura store. I'm still giving the Ventura store one star, but I give the Oxnard store five. read more

If I could give a no star rating I would. ( Please Read) I take in a switchLite to get a screen repaired that is it. I get the screen repaired that took over a week. We get it back and NOW, the Auxiliary don't work and the battery will not hold any charge. We take it back they spend over 2 weeks trying to fix. We get it back once again, not fixed Auxiliary still not working. They give me a call after another 2 weeks. Saying they can't fix it. I call HR make a complaint they say we will replace it. They send over the wrong switch and it's USED!!! Scratched, controller don't work, and battery doesn't hold charge. I will be seeking legal action, this is RIDICULOUS!! read more

Great service. I think it was Michael that helped me who was very informative and communicated very well. Repaired and finished installing a screen sooner that what was expected for my iPad. Service went well too for replacing the screen on my iPhone. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone! I had to fix my broken screen on my old iPhone 11 Pro Max. I normally would do my own repairs but going through AT&T it was $50 for it and screen after market $40. This place uses genuine parts. I brought in my old iPad Pro hoping to get a new battery because it wasn't holding a charge well. I only use it for reading the newspaper, checking emails & FaceTime and didn't want to spend the money for a new iPad. They quoted me a reasonable price and I said ok. The person behind the counter then said it wasn't a good investment because he thought, based on looking at the screen, the machine would probably totally crash soon. I really appreciated his honesty and his forgoing a sale to stop me from wasting my money. If I ever have another tech problem I would definitely go there. read more

I broke the screen on my Pixel 3a XL and had a nice experience with uBreakiFix, Oxnard location. There are no phone repair centers in Hawaii to service my phone, so I had to send it off anyway and I chose uBreakiFix over sending it to Google, the price was more affordable and the Next Day Air shipping both ways was appealing. uBreakiFix got my phone on Tuesday morning, fixed it, and turned it back over to UPS that Friday to come home. Not sure why it took several between receipt and repair since they advertise repairs within hours (if you live near a location), I suspect they had to order the screen replacement, or just prioritized in-person customers. I'm not sure. In any event, the phone came back with a shiny new screen and looks great! The UPS schedule added a lot of time to the whole process though. I gave UPS the phone on Saturday 8/29, uBreakiFix got the phone Tuesday 9/1, they fixed it and shipped it back on Friday 9/4, and UPS delivered it to me Tuesday 9/8. The screen replacement was $119.99 + tax. read more

tl;dr This location has great customer service and an awesome turaround time. Carlos has the phone looking brand new again! After only 3 months, my wife's Galaxy Z Flip3 5G screen suddenly cracked at the crease and the next day the top half stopped responding. It's a known issue, so Samsung's warranty covered the repair cost. Samsung asked us to send it in with a 2 week turnaround time, which was too long. Looking online, we saw that other Flip3 users were referred by Samsung to Ubreakifix and Best Buy as Samsung repair centers. We confirmed with Samsung's customer service who told us to head to the nearest Best Buy. We live in Goleta, so the 1st Best Buy we stopped at was in town. They told us they weren't a Samsung repair center and said we'd have to drive to the Oxnard location. Drove an hour there only to be told they are certified, but Samsung didn't send them the diagnostic tools. It was the Best Buy employee that recommended we try Ubreakifix, so we came here and are happy we did. Dropped off the phone at closing time Saturday and got a call from Carlos on Tuesday around 5:30pm that he finished the repair. I told him I wasn't sure I'd make it by closing time, 7:00pm, but he assured me he'd wait for me. Managed to get there just before closing and the phone is like new. Best part is Ubreakifix sends the bill directly to Samsung and we didn't have to pay anything!! read more
