I rarely file complaints but Buyer Beware! took in my son's iPhone for a cracked backplate and new battery. After waiting 2 weeks, they installed wrong battery and the phone was so hot to the touch I stored it in the fireplace! They ordered an Apple battery (another 2weeks) but didn't install it correctly and the front screen separated and broke. They ordered a new screen, installed it, but now the front camera doesn't work. It has been total negligence/incompetence on a consistent basis. Will never go back. Super straight forward, needed a battery for an iPhone 11. Frank gave me a time / cost estimate and nailed it. I got home and my screen was blurry afterwards, and my camera had internal moisture on the lenses. They took our money, failed to get us the product when they promised. We they couldn't get the product on time, we cancelled our order. Then they failed to refund us. They gave us an excuse that they need to "issue a refund from another store". More than 2 weeks later, they are still giving us the run around and we are yet to see a refund. read more

My son, a local college student with limited resources, called DropSmashFix for a screen repair for his iPhone 15. When it became clear that the service provider couldn't restore full functionality to the phone, my son immediately cancelled the order for a new screen. DropSmashFix told him he'd be refunded his $155.06 in 7-10 days. The refund never arrived. Both my son and I spoke to friendly store reps a combined six times, trying to resolve the issue. Each time, these reps promised to email the owner, but a refund was never issued. The owner never even responded. It's now been a full month, and my son has not been reimbursed for products and services he never received. DropSmashFix effectively stole $155.06 from a student and won't give it back. Terrible decision getting my phone done there. I had a battery and screen replaced there and they didn't put both on correctly which messed it up even more as well as they didn't even put in the correct battery. Along With them not being timely efficient they never called to tell me my phone was ready I had to call. When I got to the place the lady working didn't have my phone charged already which was very bad service in my opinion the whole problem was to see if it would charge and she couldn't even show me it was workable. I did a previous review with great ratings and comments due to fast, emergency service for my broken screen as I was leaving town that day. However, after another issue with my phone, I chose to go to the Geek Squad. They refused to work on my phone due to the work done here!! Floating screw, the film still left on the back side of the screen, damage done to the battery clasps, and the charging port glued in. Now my only option is to purchase a new phone altogether. I am very pleased with the work DropSmashFix has done for me over the last few years. Frank has repaired my Samsung phone several times. My latest, the 5th time, happened after I dropped it in the ocean. Frank replaced the charging port, screen and an internal coax wire. Now it works great and I did not lose anything! Came here to fix my phone and they broke it three times. It's now worse than it was before. And I've resulted to just getting a new phone from the manufacturer. They took my money and I had to walk home each time because I couldn't call an Uber because I didn't have my phone. Nor can I pay for it., That's more of a personal problem, but two times is kind of enough to just say you can't fix the damn thing and send me off. Not satisfied. Phone is still broken.
