This review is solely for one employee: Izzy Please note I did not get my phone fixed here! I had another company fix my phone which I then had to take back to continue to get "fixed" several times. I had a feeling I was getting lied to so I came in and asked if I could get a second opinion. Izzy opened up my phone, pointed out multiple problems, confirmed I was getting swindled and showed the "problem" the other company was claiming was not true. I went back to the other phone repair place and confronted them to either refund me or fix it correctly. They "magically" fixed my phone. They're a bit overpriced when fixing old smart phones for more than what they're actually worth, so you'd be better off getting their insurance if you feel like you'll need new repairs with your other electronics if not the same one more than once. Another thing that kind of sucks too is that they still charge you even if they fail to repair your device. Also, depending on the severity of your device's repair needs, they can spend quite a few days, if not weeks to fix it, so be prepared to leave your device/s with them for awhile. They may say they'll finish it the same day, however it's most likely a lie though. The staff there however are friendly, and informative. They repaired my phone in 3 days and got it working like brand new which brought me a lot of joy. Despite the slight overprice inconvenience, I'll seek them out should I ever need repairs on any of my electronics ever again. read more

She was able to fix the issue without the loss of any data (games, contacts or photos). We will definitely come back if we have any future issues with any of our phones, tablets, or laptops. The absolute worst of all time. I wish I could give zero instead of 1 star. The options are "walk in and drop off your phone" or "make an appointment for when it's convenient for you." But here is the thing... The "appointment" does not mean your phone will get fixed at that time. If your appointment is at noon and 3 people walked in at 11:50, they will have their phone serviced first, and your phone won't get touched until 4. If you make an appointment for a specific phone battery, that doesn't mean they have the battery in stock. Their website will allow you to make an appointment for a specific battery replacement, you will drive all the way out there, and only then will they inform you there is no battery. And even if they special order it for the next day, if someone comes in requesting the battery, they will get it even though you are the one requesting it. If there are 3 walk-ins in line your "appointment" doesn't even mean you will check in your phone first. It is just a gimmick to get you to come in to to pay them!! Avoid this company at all costs!! read more

I went in to see about a console controller fix. The man at the front desk, who was very nice, said it's not usually cost effective. Which is what I was expecting to hear but just wanted to see my options. He sold me on Asurion Insurance plan for $40 a month. He said once I am able to get into the account I could make a claim right away then cancel the plan at any time after the claim was done with. I didn't get the email with a link to the account information like he said I was going to get. Then once I was able to access the account it says in bold letters that you can't make a claim until 30 days after the account is initially open. I just wish he could've been 100% honest with me instead of selling something like a used car salesman. Im sure this store is a good place to do business and in no way am I trying to trash their reputation. I wanted to make future customers are aware before going in and being sold something. We will see what hoops I have to jump through and other charge that probably will take place. read more

Was between 2 and 3 stars. It took 14 days to get the HDMI port on my playstation fixed. I called 4 times in that two weeks and got different reasons as to why it wasn't ready each time- including one where I was told my playstation was open but they couldn't close it because they were out of liquid metal. I'm guessing it's because they knew I would take my console somewhere else to get it fixed. On the 14th day the guy did keep the store open 15 minutes late to finish it so that's why they got the third star. read more

Let me be clear, this store and its people may be great, but Asurion is a bunch of crooks and they have taken over. Notice how you can't call the store directly? You go through an Asurion robot and you can't just say "transfer to store" and get through. Asurion took my laptop and refuses to give it back. Refuses to download the data and send it to me. They say I can have EITHER my broken laptop back, or a new one. Excuse me, out of the 9 people I have reached, 6 say, no problem, we can do that...and then they never call me back. If you have an apple product, DO NOT BRING IT HERE! On November 22, 2024, I took my watch in to get a battery for my Series 5 watch. It took until January 8, 2025 to get a Series 5 replacement for the watch they rendered inoperable. So frustrating! 13 phone calls to check on status and 9 emails back and forth with the regional manager was exasperating. They words and actions did not align. I DO NOT recommend them. I head three people while I was there yesterday waiting for the dead watch they were providing me as a replacement to charge and make sure it works, say the words "I brought this in before but now..." asking for an unresolved issue to be addressed. They were completely indifferent to the needs of the customer and how their ineptitude impacted me. Owner of the parent company is Asurion. First time trying out this business, and it was an excellent experience. Described the situation with my MacBook Pro laptop, and Dylan was able to assess what was going on with it, and explained that replacing the battery would do the trick of the swelling that occurred. It was fixed within 2 1/2 days, and the great thing also is that by replacing the battery, it also fixed the mouse pad! That was a pleasant surprise :). Broke the screen on my phone and took it to the uBreakiFix in Simi Valley. The lady who helped us was lovely. Unfortunately they had to order the part and it wouldn't be in until the following Tuesday (it was Thurs.) I thought that was an awful long time to get the part, however, she assured me it would be all done and fixed by the following Tues. Welp, it is now Thursday, and I have not heard ANYTHING from the company about the status, updates, etc. I tried calling and there is no way to leave a message! Really? Very frustrated right now! So now, I will have to drive over there to figure out what the hold up is. So far, not so good. Stellar; a great value! 2nd time I've had an iPhone battery replaced. Iphone 8+, & an iphone Xmax. Both times the battery replacement was reasonable, I was expecting $100+, and both times it was $20 less. About 2 hours to replace the battery. When I was paying with my card, Jose flipped to the next screen before I could hit the 20% tip. He said, instead, go give some good reviews ... so here I am. Great service deserves a great review. My Iphone was not charging properly. I figured the port was gunked up with something. I brought it into uBreakiFix and the gentlemen gave it a quick clean up. TONS OF lint popped out of the little port. Hooked it up and the phone connected immediately. Brilliant! Here's the real deal though. Cost? Nothing. I brought something in to be fixed. Their evaluation charge did not match with what I understood advertised in an e mail from UBIF corporate. I asked them to hold off on the fix until I hear from corporate. They tell me they will keep the computer for up to 6 weeks without charge until I decide what to do. About 10 days later I call to authorize them to proceed with the evaluation. They refuse, saying too much back and forth, they decline to do the job. read more

While I understand the comfort of local chains, the simplest choice is not the best choice. In the past I've been to this location and had a screen repaired. While the service was performed admirably, I would later learn that I overpaid for price and warranty specs. However, I take responsibility for the arrangement. No harm, no foul. As I would take my lesson in future transactions. So when I called about my battery being replaced, I got a representative that "knew everything." When I asked about the details of a deductible, they responded in a snarky tone "I don't know what that is." Doing my due diligence and I rephrased my question to encompass a wider umbrella - if the battery were to fault during the warranty period, would I have to pay any additional cost? In the same inflection he stated, "I don't know what you mean." While not apparent to him, he answered his own question While they had no deductible, I chose not roll with them due to this interaction. Imagine if I asked "how his day was?" Hahaha. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CONSOLE HERE FOR REPAIRS! I had gone here to get my console repaired as i feared that keeping my ps5 upright had caused it to shut down once it began to over heat. Prior to taking the console in i had taken it apart myself in order to clean/ dust off the dirt and dust bunnies inside so that when i go to take it in the cleaning wouldn't be part of the repair process. I was told by the person helping me that i wouldn't have to pay upfront in the event that they weren't able to repair the problem. From my understanding i had thought they would plug it in and try to diagnose it to identify the problem. When i first received it back i had asked if they made the repair but the only response i got was an explanation on how they clean the system itself. So that confirmed with me that they didn't really fix it rather than just clean it. Don't get me wrong i do understand that if the problem doesn't happen with them then they aren't able to address the issues from there but when i get charged a $100 just for a cleaning and for the playstation to still have the reoccurring problem i feel ripped off since i was told i wouldn't be charged unless they were able to diagnose and fix the issue. The last time i had taken it back i was told that they pretty much just plugged it in and called it a day since the problem wasn't popping up. In the end i feel ripped off since all they did was open it up to clean it rather than fix the problem that i still have to deal with to this day. With that $100 i could've ordered the tools myself to give it a proper cleaning. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CONSOLE HERE IF YOU WANT IT REPAIRED TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! read more

Redoing my review since it was removed. Came here years ago when it was "UBreakIFix". If the same reps are working here that worked 4 years ago, best beware of the shop. I was in highschool with an iPhone 6s and was charged around 200+ just to get the vibration button on the side " fixed". Of course, like a bad mechanic, they required me to pay them more money since they insisted there was more issues/complex than the button being replaced. I still have the receipts, but it's too late for me to take this case to small claims. Again, beware of misleading reps and look at your other options before coming here. read more
