Warning: Avoid Victra Verizon Wireless! My husband and I recently tried to upgrade our Apple phones and were offered what we thought was an amazing $800 trade-in deal at Victra. Unfortunately, it turned into a nightmare that lasted six months. Even after paying the standard upfront fee to upgrade, our monthly bills kept ballooning--over $500 total for both phones (about $260 each). When I went back to ask why the trade-in wasn't applied, they reassured me it was normal and promised the adjustment would appear the following month. Month after month, the charges continued. Each time, they blamed internal errors and promised it would be corrected--but it never was. For six months, I had to repeatedly follow up just to try to get the issue resolved. Verizon customer service couldn't help either, since the purchase was through Victra and not an official Verizon store. In the end, despite both of our phones being fully paid off, we are still stuck paying for another 12 months because of their mishandling. In short: avoid Victra at all costs. Go directly to an Apple Store or an official Verizon store. This experience was frustrating, expensive, and felt like a complete scam. read more

20+ Verizon customer visited Retailer to process customer loyalty offer of new phones. Retailer processed order and confirmed with customer that they could not be charged for the new phones. 1 month later, Verizon charges customer for phones. 2 months later, Verizon charges customer for phones. Customer then visits Retailer. Retailer tells customer that they would fix the issue and have Verizon reimburse the customer. 3 months later, Verizon charges customer for phones. Customer calls Retailer and asks them to fix the charges and issue. Retailer tells customer that Retailer would fix the issue and call customer with confirmation that the issue was fixed. Customer did not receive call reimbursed Retailer. Customer visits Retailer. Retailer manager tells customer that the issue was fixed but is not able to give the customer a confirmation id, or receipt proving that the issue was fixed. Manager shows no sympathy for customers experience. Manager does provide Customer with their phone number but, again, shows no concern for the customer's experience. Understandably, the customer cannot trust that the Retailer fixed the issue and is frustrated with managers lack of sincerity. Update. Customer called verizon customer service and learned that the retail store never called verizon headquarters to approve the discount. I also emailed the 'wecare@...' address with my complaint and never heard back. These retailers do not care whatsoever. complete incompetence. read more

Probably the laziest customer service effort I've had in the longest time. Andy was the rep. We went in for a home WiFi unit. We were told by Mariam at Verizon over the phone prior to our appointment that since we have a business account, we can get home internet for $25 monthly. Andy seemed very unenthusiastic. He had to call someone above him over the phone, and after 45 min in the store, he said that it would be $49.99 and not $25 like we were previously quoted. I advised him of our conversation with Mariam, but he told us that it was not going to happen and we can leave now. I have never been treated with this kind of disrespect as a customer. Extremely upset! Brought my iPhone 13 in as a trade-in for the 16 Prox Max on November 7 (an early birthday gift). Andy set me up. Paid close to $400, then another $135 to pay off my phone. Was told I would have NO payment due til December 15- that the first two upcoming bills would be a little higher than $100, but would go down on the third month. Received a text from Verizon that I had a past due balance of $94. When I called Andy directly he said he couldn't help me with billing. Called billing and two hours later was told my next bill is close to $300 (not including the $94 past due)! I was told there's nothing that can be done. Be aware! Beware DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE. Absolute NIGHTMARE. The staff and their customer service is a joke. They do not care to help customers other than to sell them a service or product and proceed to NOT IMPLEMENT the new/updated service. We bought new phones under a promo where you do not pay for the phones. Three months later we are still being charged for phones we should NEVER be charged for. Visited the store 4 times and every time they are either too busy, can't help us, or lie and say everything is fixed only to find out they have done absolutely nothing. On our 3rd call to Verizon and they too have not been able to help even though they too say everything is fixed (until the next bill comes and we get charged yet again). This is beyond frustrating, a waste of our time (literally hours have been spent on this), not even a sense of customer service, and again the manager and employees at this store should literally never be employed anywhere. Save yourself the headache, frustration and waste of time that you for sure will deal with after your initial visit. And don't tell me to email corporate - because they don't respond and don't do anything to help either. Filing a BBB report and will go beyond that if/as needed. Your store and management are a disgrace. I have never in my life experienced this (nor ever left a review like this) - but here we are. Do the right thing and make it better. Not a single customer in the store and the employee could look up from his phone while talking to me. Shit customer service.

They talked me into switching to a business account 7 months ago. They never closed out my consumer account even though no devices were on it and continued billing my account. After many hours on the phone and in the store, they finally closed the account and said a refund would be credited to my bank. Never happened. After months I disputed the charges with my bank and was credited for the fraudulent charges. They are now sending me bills. I have spent hours on the phone with them, trying to resolve it, only to get transferred from person to person retelling the same story over and over. I have had it with Verizon. Trying to get help to resolve their mistake is absolutely impossible. I have no idea what to do at this point. read more

I went to upgrade my phone and I believe his name was Andy told me my phone bill wouldn't go up by not only paid off my phone at the store over $400 which she also sneakily put two extra charges on there, making it seem like the cord and cube came with the phone, but I got my phone bill and it was more than double had to call Verizon and spend more than three hours for them to fix my phone bill. On 12/17/2024, we visited your office at The Oaks Mall Thousands Oaks to become your new customers. We were greeted by your employee. We explained the plan we wanted and provided all the necessary details for the transfer. And that's when the issues began: first, he started making calls to figure out how to complete this simple task. Then he switched between two tablets and a computer, claiming they weren't working! He was wasting our time! After another failed attempt, a manager came over to help him. Then, on top of the $60 plan cost, he added a $40 fee for his services. One of our numbers had already been transferred to Verizon a month ago at a different office, where we had no issues and were helped by an incredible employee. We were shocked to see an additional $40 fee on the bill and asked what it was for. The employee explained that we had "wasted his time" and needed to pay for it! We politely told him that in the other office, there was no fee charged and that his work is paid for by his employer. To this, he replied that he refused to assist us "for free"! This store is a third party. I didn't know that when I walked in. I saw no sign until today when I went in to question them. bought an iPhone there. The very nice gentleman (Amani) who waited on me did not inform me that it was a third party store. For 48 hours I have had little to no service on any of my devices. I went in to turn in my old phone and asked them why they did not inform me of that fact. A young man proceeded to flay his arms and tell me that it's written all over the store. I asked where & he pointed a finger to the corner of his desk. The reason I never saw that was it never occurred to me and there was a woman sitting in front of that sign for the 3+ hours we were in that store. Yes, I was angry out of frustration, and I did apologize. But this young man told me that I was rude and I should go to the Westlake store. Again I apologized and asked to understand my frustration. Don't go to that store because they really have no customer service and do not how to inform people on the necessary steps on how to convert information from one phone to the next. read more

Colin at the Verizon store in the Oaks Mall was extremely helpful. He was so patient with all my problems. There were three or more customers in the store at all times rotating in and out. Colin helped each person and was able to make each of us feel like we were valued customers. We were each treated with kindness and respect. Of course everyone has complicated problems that need to be solved. And there were a couple elderly people who really needed extra help. My husband and I came to this Verizon store last week because he just bought the new iPhone 15 and needed help transferring the data from his old phone to the new one. The Verizon sales associate stated that it would cost $40 to perform this service. I was in disbelief because I had T-mobile and they were able to transfer data for my new phone completely free of charge. I asked the associate if can he at least walk us through or tell us the functions on the iPhone that can help us with the transfer and he simply said "You can Google how to do that on your own. I cannot tell you how to do this because this is a service that we charge." We walked out the door in shock and shook our heads because we felt that he didn't help us whatsoever. We decided to go to the Apple store for assistance instead. The Apple associate was able to do the transfer for our phones in less than 15 minutes with no questions asked. He was super nice and friendly too. Let's just say we were so relieved that we saved $40! I cannot believe that a small service like a data transfer costs that much and the Verizon associate can't even go out of his way to show us the steps on how to perform the data transfer. It just shows that nice customer service goes a long way and this store failed to provide that unfortunately. You bet we will not be returning to this store anymore. read more

Buyer Beware. My Daughter the Princess is notoriously hard on her phones. So by the time we turned her iPhone 8 in for an upgrade, you could barely use the thing. She went over to GoWireless and the man there tells her there is a promo for 100.00 for an upgrade to a new iPhone 12. She came back to ask about it and we were so impressed, the most beautiful woman in the world and I decided to get ours too. After completing the transaction, we traded in our phones like we were required but when the charges started coming on our Verizon Bill, they were full price charges for the phones. I call the store, and they say, it takes a few billing cycles for the credit to show up. I gave a it a couple more cycles and nothing. I called the store to find out what was going on, and Dylan told me that they accidently entered the promo wrong, and that he was calling his district manager and would call me back when he had the fix. No call ever came. 3 separate chats online and 4 phone calls to Verizon, each taking at least 45 minutes and I think I am finally back to normal. This kind of thing really upsets me and it should really upset you. We go to "authorized dealers" because we feel they represent the larger company that we are loyal to. Then you get some Yahoo salesperson that likely will make more money if they enter in a full price deal. By the time you figure it out, that A**hole salesperson has been paid out and you are left like an idiot, trying to figure out your bill. Tip to sales people. If you are going to go into sales as a profession, be an honest one. Honest sales people end up making much more money over time because you are trusted and you get referrals. Dishonest ones are scum and no one likes you. So suffice it to say, I will never use an "authorized vendor" ever again. The only place I am going is online, or into COSTCO, or Best Buy. They have never done me wrong. Sorry - Go wireless, you have got to train your sales people to have integrity or suffer the consequences. Over 6 months... over 6 months I have been dealing with Sammy and his crew trying to get my account established and fixed. It took multiple days to even get the account set up, the service was absolute trash, my calls were dropped after three seconds for months, even with "LTE" my data will constantly not work, my complaints were ignored and my phones had to be replaced, the new phones still had terrible service and I have been disconnected twice because the billing on their end has been screwed up. I was lied to about the price I have to pay, I have tried to cancel for at least five months, and never receive the follow through I am promised. This has been the absolute worst experience that I've ever had with a company. The incompetence of the staff is unparalleled. I will never use Verizon for anything again because of this. Do yourself a favor, I don't care what price they quote you, do not go with this company, or at the very least this location. Stick with AT&T. read more

BEWARE! This is not a store owned and operated by Verizon. It is a private party that owns the store. We went there to add an extra line and get a free iPhone SE deal for the added line. The rep brought out the phone and then told us we would have to purchase $139 in accessories. What??? That's was not the deal online. I said no and he said, "You can ask my manager if you don't believe me." Then we told him to order it which took a few days even though he had the phone right there. When we went to pick up the phone there was a "Ready to go set up" fee of $19.99. What??? All that happened was I was handed the phone. I did the set up for iCloud and Porting the old number in. Order online or go to a Verizon store to avoid this. You will wind up paying for things you don't need that are not part of the deal Verizon is offering. This was confusing. The store looks like it is a Verizon Store. It's not. It is an Authorized Retailer that will not have the same fees and deals. read more

After it was all said and done I ended up paying an extra $60 per month on my bill. I had called this Verizon location initially to see if they had an iphone 10 but they only had the SE or the 11. Camren was the associate who answered the phone and who also helped me when I came in. I was expecting to leave with an SE since my 8plus was fine but gravity took it by surprise; I ended up leaving with a stronger and more affordable plan AND an iphone 11. He helped transfer all of my data from my 8plus onto the 11 and I left VERY happy. I mentioned to Camren that I had gone to another Verizon location two days prior and they did not even bother to tell me about the better plan and the discount that came with the upgrade.
