His customer service skills are excellent and he's extremely patient explaining so we understand, he's knowledgeable and made himself available even closing eight minutes past closing time. I had an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience with Victra Verizon. From the beginning, I was repeatedly given inaccurate and misleading information about pricing and billing. Despite clear verbal assurances, my bills were consistently higher than what I was quoted and agreed to. These conversations were documented in writing and through recorded calls, yet the issue was never properly addressed. The store manager, Sergio, was involved throughout this process and was fully aware of the situation. Unfortunately, there was a continued lack of follow up, accountability, and resolution. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I transferred all of my accounts to T Mobile, who covered the payoff as part of the switch. I am now preparing a small claims case against Victra and escalating the matter to Verizon corporate due to what I believe are deceptive business practices. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location to anyone looking for transparency or honest billing. read more

As others have said, this store is full of sleazy salesmen, do not believe a word they say and get documentation, shame on me for not doing that last part. As an almost 20 year customer of Verizon, I knew this was not a corporate store when I went in with my daughter, but I decided to give it a chance. BTW, they said bad things about the corporate store in Westlake Village, unsure if this was the truth or more misleading by this crooked team. My daughter needed an upgrade as well as I. I was insistent that I wanted to keep my monthly bill very close to what it was ($115). Long story short, we got a couple of new phones and they insisted my bill would be within $2-$3 of the current billing, "but we can't get you confirmation of that until this all goes through after you next billing..." Well, of course. that was a lie. Next bill it was $139.99, not even close to what they said it would be. I called Verizon and they worked with me to get it down closer to what it was, but that's not the point, the point is DON'T LISTEN to a word these sleazy salespeople say, they are LIARS. Next time I'm in the area I will go in and give them a piece of my mind...I hope there are other unsuspecting customers in the store so they can get a good sense of what they are dealing with...this store gives used car salesmen a bad name, avoid at all costs! read more

I went in the other day for Christmas shopping and I don't remember his name but the guy with the beard and tattoos was amazing!! Really recommend working with him, the only thing this store needs work on is the other lady's professionalism. She was eating Twinkie's in the corner and afterwards went to the bathroom and just started blowing that thing up. And the other tall handsome guy was also very kind just he started doing a weird movement after they rung me out. I recently purchased a new phone for myself and my Mother who was extremely skeptical of getting a new phone given she is not super tech savy, decided to give our local verizon store a try! we were instantly greeted by 2 friendly gentleman behind the counter who listened to all our questions and addressed all of our concerns about pricing, phone models ect. We ended up getting both our phones at almost no cost monthly AND they noticed we qualified for cheaper and faster internet speeds with frontier! Joey was the main representative helping us and his manager Lee was there helping with our data transfer and also helped explain our current enrollment in phone insurance. My mother and I both love our new Iphone 17's and recommend Joey and Lee to anyone looking to shop here for new devices or phone plans! read more

I needed to upgrade my phone and the only Verizon location with the phone I wanted to upgrade to was this one. Turns out, this is an "authorized dealer" and not an actual Verizon store. I ordered my phone for online pickup at 4pm on a Thursday. At 10:30am Friday morning I hadn't heard if my phone was ready for pickup. I called and was told it was, but never got an email or text confirming this. I went to the store, only to be told by Camren that their system was down, so they couldn't charge me for the tax on the phone and release it to me. His workaround was to have me cancel my transaction and then we'd do the sale in-store as "an in-stock purchase". Fine - that makes no difference to me. I cancelled my order, and he started the new transaction. At this point, I've been in the store close to 40 minutes. Camren informs me that it's going now going to take well over an hour more and asked if I wanted to come back for my phone. I asked why and he said he had to transfer my old phone to my new one in order to charge me the tax and release the new phone. At this point I told him I didn't have two hours to spend in the store. I use my phone in the course of business and also can't afford to be down for that long. Camren then copped an attitude and told me I could make calls from my Apple Watch. I wasn't amused. While I was waiting. an elderly man walked into the store. He overheard me saying that I needed my phone for work. He asked me what I did for a living. I said, "Investor Relations". He says, "oh, so you have relations with investors?" Then asked me, "do you want to have relations with me?!"...to which Camren laughed. Real nice - don't stick up for women when they are being harassed, just laugh! I wait for my phone to transfer since I didn't have much of a choice after he started the process. Once he was able to charge me, he gave me the total, $127 and change and said, "that's just the tax." I stopped for a second because I knew what the tax was going to be since I ordered this online the day before. The tax should be been right around $100. I asked him if that included the activation fee or something, and he said, "oh, there's a $25 in-store setup fee." At this point I was angry. I ordered in-store pickup, their systems are down, THEIR workaround is to setup my new phone (which I NEVER wanted them to do, nor did I ever ask them to do!), and now I'm getting penalized for their systems being down?? Camren told me he couldn't waive the fee. He called his manager and said, "yeah, you have to pay it." I told him to cancel the transaction and give my phone back. I went home and called Verizon. Since this store was the only one with my phone in stock, I had no choice but to buy it through them. Verizon assured me that paying for everything on the phone would make the pickup a hassle-free experience, since there's nothing for the store to do but release the phone. I said okay and paid. The next afternoon, I go to the store to pickup my phone. The same two gentlemen are there. They again tell me the system is down, and this time, even though my phone is fully paid for, they tell me they still cannot release it to me. They had me cancel the transaction and do the sale again. I told them I didn't not want my phone setup in store, and they said okay - but I'd still have to pay their setup fee. SERIOUSLY???? They called the manager, Jeremy, who wasn't on site. He was EXTREMELY rude towards me. He told me, and I quote, "you didn't want to wait for your phone yesterday". I told him, "it's not that I didn't want to, I DID NOT have time to! I have a job and this was supposed to be a 10 minute pickup that went on for over two hours!" Then he sarcastically said, "well, you didn't want to pay the setup fee and I can't waive that. You have to pay it." I told him, "why on earth would I ever pay a setup fee solely because your system for pick-ups was down?? That's not the customers fault, that's the business' issue and they need to absorb that cost, not the consumer." He got angry and told me I wasn't listening to him. Then he said it was his fault either, and therefore I had to pay the fee. WOW. I went outside and called Verizon and they were so courteous and in as much disbelief as I was. The rep I spoke to said that practices like these are just taking advantage of their customers. He applied a credit to my account for the the setup fee so that I could get my phone and finally be on my way. I requested this to be escalated so that others that aren't as keen or willing to fight for what's right don't get taken advantage of as well. He said he would definitely take it to his superiors. Lesson learned: AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! Especially if you are female, because they will treat you like you are an idiot and try to take advantage! read more

We had a great experience working with Eric. Eric provided exceptional service by demonstrating patience, humor, and overall great communication while handling our requests. Upon arrival at the store, Eric and coworker were very friendly. My girlfriend and i had let them know we wanted to add a phone line as well as upgrade my current phone. Now, understand that my girlfriend and i are servers, so we take customer service very seriously. At first i was relaxed that Eric was so nice and made me feel comfortable by explaining he would do it no problem and with ease. Well, shorty after that, things started to go down hill VERY quickly. We had walked in about 6/6:15, Eric informed me that since they close at 7pm (on a Sunday) they would need to somewhat rush the process in order to make the transaction complete or else the computers automatically would shut down and we would need to come in again and restart the process. We are from Ventura and the store is in newbury park so we didn't want to come back again the next day. Although that was a red flag in my head, we continued the process. As we were being rushed with questions, they had also informed us that the phone we wanted wasn't in and that we would have to wait. However, they gave us a different phone and told us we could use it and that they would place an order for the phone we did want. We would just swap it out once the new one had came in that we wanted. So that was very nice of them. While going through the process Eric seemed a bit confused with answers and my heart started to beat a bit as i was nervous he wasn't very knowledgeable. When you go to a Verizon or any other retail store, they ALWAYS walk you through each step and let you know how the next bill will turn out and other important information. Well while he was putting in information, a phone distributor walked in to show them new google phones to which Eric stopped what he was doing to find out more about those phones. Mind you he already told us we had to be rushed cause of the computers shutting down. This urked me because i was leaving on a trip the next day and i really wanted our phones for the trip. After the shady process had gone through, i got a bill the next evening showing me everything Eric DID NOT TELL ME ABOUT. I realize adding lines and upgrading comes with small random fees, but PLEASE inform me what those are so i don't feel like i was fooled and not cared about. The wireless team had told me the phone we had ordered would be in within a few days. So we waited a week to call and check if it was there. It wasnt. We called again a few days later and the woman who answered told us that the order for the phone was never placed but that she can easily order us a new one. Awesome, so we went through the process again. Well the photo below shows that nobody had ever order anything 2 times now. At this time it's been about 4 weeks since we ordered the phone and we had got a random text from the retail store asking us how everything went and if we needed any further help.... lol, ya, I'm still waiting for the phone that neither of you put in the system. While texting Eric, he noticed i was upset and slowly stopped responding to me. As i realized he truly doesn't care about customer service, nor the other woman, i asked to speak with a manager to which he gladly gave me the times they were in. This store can absolutely do the basics if that's what your looking for. But if you are new to a phone and plan, this place is a MUST PASS UP. DO NOT go here if you want details or to feel comfortable. I would recommend only going here if you KNOW the phone you want is in or if you only need to buy an accessory (which they don't have much of). Bottom line, they have great potential to be a decent store, yet their employees truly just don't seem to care about you as you can tell they just there for their check. Ps. I went to a Verizon authorized detailed after and the phone had arrived in 2 days. This goes to show you that the Go-wireless family truly doesn't care about you. read more

Please check you itemized receipt if you purchase a phone from this retailer. I purchased a phone here yesterday from Camren and naively did not look at my bill before leaving the store. He had added a $39.99 charge for smartphone set up that he did not mention (and he didn't even set it up because it was a gift and it couldn't be set up yet), a monthly charge for Mobile Protection service for the phone (I had not asked for this and he did not mention it), suggested a bundle of accessories that would cost an additional $150 but it was actually $170, and never mentioned Verizon was going to charge me a $35.00 upgrade fee for just buying a new phone for an existing line. Very irritating experience with a bunch of "gotchas". Not sure if a Verizon company store would be better but I'd steer clear of these Victra stores. read more

The guys that work here are the coolest. I have had to go in there a few times do to Verizon's lack of security in my account and their inability to recognize when I turned in my old phone and but they were charging me for it. Brandon got on the phone and fixed the problem! I even bought my new iPhone13 pro max there. I really hope that the owners appreciate their staff there. While in the store I watched how when each customer walked in they were greeted acknowledged and listened to. I've been to other Verizon stores actually the main one off Westlake Boulevard where they barely even notice when you walk in the door. So this is why I give it five stars because of the staff there they make it a great experience! read more

My first time using this Verizon location ever. I submitted an online order for a new phone through Verizon online to pickup at here. The order processed at 3pm so I called at 4:45pm to confirm my order was received and processing. I spoke with Eric. He stated he sees the order but it's pending release. I inquired what's the hold up and he said he didn't know. Odd response back, but okay. I asked should I call Verizon to find out and he said they wouldn't be able to help - it's just the process. Once they release they can process. Ok, fine. Called Verizon, representative said sorry the order will be ready for pickup at 6:20pm. Arrive at the location, Eric and Natalie do not have the phone as it "might have been sold." After researching, they didn't process the order (despite my confirmation number and the store info on it) because they said they don't have it available. I inquired what's the solution here. They called other stores to try to obtain the phone and were unsuccessful. The resolution at first was that's all we can do. After I said that solutions unacceptable & what is going to be done, the district manager was phoned. Next solution, provide me with a loaner phone until my phone is available or they could cancel my order. I declined the loaner phone and accepted to cancel my order. She then tells me it's better if I go online and cancel my order because it can take up to 45 mins for her to do it waiting on hold with Verizon. Or if I don't pickup the phone it will automatically cancel. At this point, I reiterated the chain of events with the employees, and asked do you see the poor customer service at all levels here, which they agreed and she said "I'd be upset if it was me." I told her I'll cancel the order. I understand mistakes happens. However, the start to finish of this customer service was a fail. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is not even a Verizon store! This place sold me a.phone and told me my phone payment and coverage would be the same. They also told me I had insurance on my phone. My phone bill is now $150/month instead of 60/month. The man that sold me the phone straight up lied to me. And he told me I would have insurance on the phone which I later discovered was untrue. My phone broke a month after I bought it. When I took it into the store they told me I have no insurance and there is nothing they can do to help me. I have to wait 2 years till my next upgrade to get a new phone or could pay $600 for one which is absolutely absurd! I was so upset I was in tears. They had no remorse and told me to leave the store. I called Verizon to complain they explained that GoWireless is not in anyway affiliated with Verizon Wireless. This place is a TOTAL SCAM!!!! They advertise they are Verizon to mislead people to come into the store and then they sell defective phones to customers. These people are the most sadistically evil people I have ever come across well aside from my ex boyfriend he was pretty evil but anyway there is a lot of corrupt behavior going on in there and i have a sneaky suspicion some of it is illegal. Gowireless is unethical and immoral I don't know how they are in business it makes me sick. This store is a huge RIP-OFF! Randomly walked in to this Verizon store just to compare the deal, was helped by Billy. was given superior customer service and, information his knowledge allowed me to upgrade my phone and plan as he navigated all of the options with the 3 phones we currently used. Additionally I chose to purchase the lifetime protective glass due to Billys' no pressure but informative suggestion, after he described the overall value vs the cost. Fortunately that choice has paid off 2 times this past year. Ive been helped by the another employee once and Billy again this last repair. I'm torn about giving this review. First, I showed up at 4:30pm and the doors to the business were locked and the guy behind the counter comes up and opens the door. I asked "Are you eating lunch?" and he responded, "Uhh, yeah...". So I said I'd come back later. Well, I ran my other errands and came back at 7:30pm (30 minutes before close). The doors were unlocked this time. Told the guy I wanted to upgrade my phone to the iPhone X, he asked what color and I responded. That was the last thing he said to me until several minutes later when he asked me to pay the taxes on the phone. Then while setting up the phone he walked over and relocked the doors despite the sign over the door saying "These Doors Are To Remain Unlocked When Building is Occupied"... like um? My boyfriend needed to use the restroom and couldn't leave bc the doors were locked. This guy, Austin C, proceeded to open the cash door and count it in front of us and do paper work while we waited for the phone to upload. Didn't offer to teach me to use it and eagerly awaited us to leave. Now I get wanting to go home and having a customer come in late in the shift, but if he'd interrupted his lunch to take care of it he could've eaten and closed in peace. Also, I was shocked they'd only have one employee on site... I've never had a good experience with Go Wireless so I'm not surprised... but these are just operations issues! read more

In addition...when we were paying at the store...an extra $100 for special accessories was being charged as "part of the package" we didn't even want to purchase accessories from the store. I cannot begin to describe how disgusted I am with GoWireless as a company, their N.P. store manager Matt, as well as Verizon to a lesser degree, and I will describe our experience in great detail. Similar to what Patrick W here experienced, my Mother and 16yr old Daughter were not only completely and utterly defrauded at this store by a salesman who not only used profanity to describe some of the HTC 1 phones negatively, but when I was made aware of the fraud, went in personally to handle it with the manager Matt, his lack of any actions or promised follow through made it clear that this is how they do business and is indicative of GoWireless as a company. This all started back in August, when my daughter broke her HTC 1, and went into our local GoWireless store here on Broadbeck Dr., in the Islands shopping center. My Mom took her, since they share a plan together. The salesman they dealt with was aggressive and pushy, and put a bad taste in my daughters mouth. She wanted another HTC 1, as she was already familiar with it, and does very little beyond using it for calls and texting, but the salesman told her that she didn't want that phone, it was, Quote, "A Piece of S#I!" and that she should only get the top of the line HTC model, the HTC 10. He told them that they were eligible for a "Free Upgrade", and conveniently left out that the the full price of the phone would be amortized on her bill. My Mother, being on a fixed income, would certainly not have agreed to the $700+ phone, no how/no way. Once I was made aware of her now nearly $200 bill, 2 months later after she was complaining of the second bill in a row that was now doubled, I called Verizon to find out what was going on. The Verizon rep explained that this new HTC 10 phone had had been added to the account, as well as insurance on both phones, (My Mother's phone is 4 years old and doesn't need a $15 per month plan!). The Verizon rep also expressed disdain over the situation, and was very apologetic on behalf of Verizon, indicating that these types of situations were anything but uncommon. She said that these Verizon affiliates are well known for these types of tactics, and unfortunately, there was nothing she could do, this would have to be taken up with GoWireless directly. I called this local GoWireless to find out who the manager was, and after a week, was finally able coordinate time off from work to go in and talk directly with the Manager, Matt. I wanted to give him the opportunity to rectify this issue, and so my Mother and I explained the situation. Matt indicated that he knew who the salesman was, and also alluded to acknowledging that this was anything but the first time there have been issues with that employee. Unfortunately, that salesman no longer works at that location. Matt expressed what appeared to be genuine concern, and promised that he would call me back with an update regarding what could be done on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest. Monday came and went, Tuesday also, then Wed/Thurs/Friday...... no reply. I called Saturday and talked to Matt. It took him a bit to remember who I was/what the situation was, and then just indicated that he had not heard back from anyone at corporate-no mention of why he had not bothered to follow up with a reply earlier to me as promised to indicate this. At this point, his demeanor was one of indifference, and I was done with wasting anymore valuable time waiting for him to do nothing. I asked for his superior's number, and indicated I would take it from here. In addition to calling GoWireless corporate, I will also be filing a BBB complaint against Gowireless, as well as letting HTC corporate to let them know how GoWireless chooses to represent them. I'll also be in contact with Verizon President Ronan Dunne, Executive Vice President John Stratton, as well CEO Lowell C. McAdam, to inform them how their Verizon affiliate GoWireless, is actively defrauding their customers, and that we will be taking our business to AT&T, if necessary. It's truly unfortunate how GoWireless chooses to condone conducting this kind of business. My steps to rectify this issue will hopefully change the way they choose to conduct business in the future, and spare anyone else from being tricked into this kind of fraudulent situation. read more
