Hector C is a tech wizard who needs to be cloned and stationed in every Staples store nationwide--he is THAT GOOD! When my Dell laptop's battery life flatlined faster than an ice cube on a hot sidewalk, he swooped in with a full diagnostic and saved the day. Massive thanks to Hector C and Staples for employing such an absolute treasure! read more

This review is for the new balloon department inside Staples. We ordered several balloons for a birthday party - two mylar numbers and a half dozen regular balloons. Daniella was friendly and incredibly helpful. She made recommendations on ribbon and weight and also explained a trick for keeping the number balloons together. The mylar number balloons also lasted almost two full week. Would definitely order from here again! read more

What an amazing experience I came into Staples this morning because we're doing an event at local DIY store for the children tomorrow to pot a plant for Mother's Day for their mothers and staples went above and beyond to donate a banner for our event. Been to this Staples a bunch! For prints, Amazon returns, and shopping. Staff always really friendly and helpful. Parking is easy in the shopping center. The area is full of other "essential" shops so it's great to get a lot of errands done at once. read more

I went into Staples today to party city to purchase Numbers balloons. They had them on the wall for $17 per number for helium. I asked if they had any less expensive numbers cause I needed two numbers which would've been $35 they said no and then I see on the rack there are blowup numbers that are not helium for $1.99 each number instead of $17. so I bought the dollar 1.99 numbers took them home and there's no way to blow them up. It's just garbage.... pretty upset. I now have to go back to Staples. They never should be selling these cheaper ones or they should explain that it's almost impossible to blow up. read more

The staff here are always so sweet and helpful! I have to really compliment the print center though. The people working in there are always so friendly and ready to make your dream project come true!! Late evening hours the woman at the counter do not honor Amazon returns saying the scanner is broken for the rest of the day. This was around 7pm both times. It's not a one off things. This happened twice in the same week. Might complaint to Amazon cos next spot to return is 15 minutes drive away. Useless woman at the register in the evenings. read more

On the whole, I really like this location - everyone is very nice and helpful here. My complaint is mostly with the staples.com online ordering site. I placed an order for Journals. The one I chose showed two journals in the photo. When I came to pick it up, I was told there was only one journal. I find this to be very deceptive and should be fixed on their website. read more

This is such a poorly run store. They need to hire more staff and stop being so cheap. They have one person manning both check out and Amazon returns. You can't get any help anywhere else there's barely any staff. The cleanliness of the place is very questionable. And the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. There are feces on the toilet seat. I could absolutely vomit. Truckstops are way cleaner than this. This is what you get when businesses are super cheap and don't wanna hire anyone. read more

The print center here is top tier, and that is because of Hector, Sophia, and Kelly. They are experts at what they do, kind and hospitable, and extremely helpful. read more

Jake was extremely helpful today. There was a long line of people returning items to the UPS and Express counter. Jake treated each person with patience and respect. Many of us had mix ups with our orders and Jake helped each of us solve our problems. Other than that, the store prices seemed a bit high. read more

Had to do a quick ran to staples to get something for work, last minute the camera man ran out of memory lol. The gentleman at the cash register pointed me out to the direction needed, I didn't see any sales associates on the floor (that weren't busy with other costumers). Double confirmed that I got the right thing and was on my way out with the cashier that rang me out. Easy and simple. read more

My school was recently impacted by the Franklin Fire. Due to fire damage, we won't be able to return to our campus until at least January 6. In the meantime, we've been relocated to another school, but none of our supplies or belongings could be brought with us. For safety reasons, we're not even allowed to step onto our campus to retrieve something as small as a pencil or a book. Hoping for some help, I visited Staples to request donations. I explained the situation to a kind cashier, who relayed my story to the store manager over their headset. Unfortunately, I was told that donations had to be approved by corporate, and there was nothing they could do on the spot. What upset me the most was that the manager didn't even take the time to come out, express sympathy, or explain the policy directly. This is an immediate crisis. Many of our students have lost their homes, and all of us have been displaced from our school. A company as large as Staples should be able to provide some form of help in situations like this. Surely, they could have found a way to assist with basic school supplies in the short term or at least have managers with better customer service who could have explained this in person. The Westlake Village Staples used to be my go-to store, but after experiencing this impersonal response to such an urgent need, I can no longer support an establishment that handles community crises in this way. read more

Do not bring anything here to be laminated if you care about it. Worked for a year detailing a map of our personal property and it was returned to me damaged by the person who did the job. Went in for passport photos today. The good news the wait was short and the guy there was super polite ! The bad news is that the photos are dark and they're 16$ for two photos . I accidentally jammed a Inkjet cartridge in my HP 3-in-1 printer when I received it in mail. I am on auto ship for cartridges with HP when they see my ink is running low. Silly me should have checked the label on ink package and would have known the ink that needed replacing was my color cartridge. Not my black and white ink cartridge. As a result of my inserting the color cartridge in the black and white slot box it wouldn't jammed. When I realized i inserted wrong cartridge i attempted to remove it. The saga continued! After calling HP for any tips to remove the cartridge and not getting it removed after speaking to them, I decided to contact Staples for assistance and spoke to Victor who offered to give it a try to remove the cartridge. When I got to Staples Victor was assisting a customer and his Manager who happened to be at the technical service desk, Jurabu offered to help me. He was able to get the cartridge out! They were so kind and helpful and although I caused the problem, they didn't charge me a service fee. Of course I made a few purchases when all was said and done. Their store is my "Go To" store for technical issues. I initially purchased my printer there and it is out of warranty. It's a breath of fresh air to get the kind of service I received from Victor and Jurabu. I highly recommend them!!! True professionals who care about their customers. Thank you! read more

I was in a particularly foul mood tonight as nothing seemed to work in my favor the entire day. I ordered something online from a clothing retailer and of course my order would be wrong. So I needed to get a shipping label printed and all that jazz. And of course to my dismay, it's Friday and I can't print said label at the office at work since tomorrow is Saturday. Drove to FedEx. Yelp said they were open. Wrong. Went to staples and met the kind young lady working at the printer station. I explained what I needed and without hesitation, she asked me to send her the single page I needed and she took care of what I needed in 2 minutes. I was in and out. I come here to get my office supplies and have no problems or hassles whatsoever. They recently moved a bunch of things around to give it a new touch up and changed the checkout lines by pushing them all the way back to the near-front of the store instead of the middle. There is enough space around the lanes to move a cart around with ease and the items and displays are kept clean and stocked. The staff are also friendly and helpful with any questions I have. The reason I am giving a 4-Star review is because of my recent trip to Staples last Sunday. I went in with 20 ink cartridges to recycle and to buy a few ink cartridges as well. No problem with any of that until the very end of my transaction. The cashier (didn't get his name) was telling me that if I do the survey of that day and mention his name, that I need to give him a rating of 9 or 10 since anything under 9 (according to him) is considered poor service and that he would greatly appreciate it a 9 or 10 rating. I understand that surveys are to provide feedback about the stores and employees which are taken very seriously, but I felt that I shouldn't have to give a fair rating because an employee told me to, I thought that was very unprofessional and a bit rude. I was originally not going to give a poor rating at all from my recent trip to Staples, but telling customers that they HAVE to rate higher than 9 is not right. read more

Kelly at the Print & Marketing Services saved my whole day and life. That might sound like an exaggeration but I mean it. I like, but far from love. Over the years: I've copied; shipped UPS; bought printers, ink, paper, envelopes, office chairs, etc. But, with the novel invention of the internet (and if time permits), I prefer now to shop on Amazon -- much better for pricing and referencing those handy-dandy reviews (who knew?). But, if you can't wait (your completely out of paper or ink, for example), coming in for instant satisfaction can't be outdone. Service here, for me, has been quite helpful. They may not know everything about everything, but they try with a smile. read more

Walked in to find a laser cartridge, signs everywhere saying "guaranteed in stock". They don't stock HP 981. Walked around the store looking for help. No employees on the floor. Quick visit last weekend for card stock to create props for wedding photo booth. They had a variety in different colors, but were out of plain white without buying a larger amount than I needed. Was able to find a combo pack of colors, which allowed me to create announcements for an event, in addition to the original purpose. That section could have used re-stocking, for certain. Parking is plentiful in front of the store. Check out went quickly. read more

Marc is great, he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be recommending this Staples to others.

Staples in Westlake Village always has great service. They greet you as you walk in and they make sure you can find what you need in the store...just ask them if you need help. They have literally everything "office" related. If they don't have what you are looking for they can order it. I come here to get paper for my Epson printer, EZ tape, 3 ring 1" binders and ink for my printer. Those are MY main "go to" items. But... I find as I walk around, many other things that I might be interested in-cases for laptops or cute stationary and, well, I can get distracted. This is also my families spot for art projects or big poster board-homework. Between middle school and high school-this Staples store has always had what our family needed...even when we go last minute! It is very well stocked at all times I have found. They have restrooms that are clean so that helps when you have kids. If you broke your backpack at school that day, they have them here for you to replace and they have some fun ones too! I am very grateful for my "one stop shopping" experience because as a single mom, I need to get everything and move on. It's so nice when you don't have to drive to 6 different stores to find what you need. It's all here and that makes it easy for my family. Also, if you are a "Gamer" and want a comfy chair they have a lot of great options in the furniture section towards the bathrooms. Depending on what your budget is, you can find some great office chairs here. And, have you ever seen tat they have "college" size desks for all of those students heading to the dorms so these affordable little tables can come in handy when studying late into the night in your dorm room, while your roommates sleep. They are pretty sturdy, I bought one and put it together myself for my sons in high school. He uses it all the time-and he likes having it in his room so he can work privately and not be distracted. Only note-beware of the candy and goodies at the check out counter as many items can be impulse buys... when you are standing in line...but hey-who's judging?!? So, to wrap it up-If you need work or school supplies, this is the place. The staff has always been nice to me and I appreciate how helpful they are when I am mailing letters, faxing something, or buying something and want to understand the warrantee options are. Oh-and be sure to check out the pen isle-Ohhh, lots of fun there! It's like walking thru rainbows they have so many color options! read more

This place is understaffed and the employees seem annoyed when you want help. They also don't keep their word when it comes to having stuff ready. Paid to have an office chair assembled and they said within 24 hours. Two days went by when I called for an update they got annoyed or couldn't find the order at all. I never received a call when it was ready and of course had to call to again deal with an employee who was obviously irritated as soon as they answered. They can't find my chair. Seriously go somewhere else. read more

Went into Staples just now to look for a task chair. Sales lady couldn't be bothered to help. She was too busy laughing on her earpiece. I said ' Excuse me , are these the only office chairs in this store?' to which she replied half heartedly, 'Yes'. So to clarify, I said ' there aren't any more here? How about if I show u a picture of a Staples chair I'm looking for?' She said, 'picture won't help, you can look back there as she points to the rear corner of the store'. So I thanked her and walked back to check . Couldn't find the chair I was seeking nor the customer service, so I'll just go someplace for all my office supplies. Oh, and the one star, it's for the air conditioning in the store. read more

Super convenient location, which is probably why students from every elementary and middle school within a mile end up here the night before school starts. It's expensive but convenient normally, but late August it's a nightmare mess, with notebooks and Sharpies scattered all over the floor. You can always tell when the nearby school has a particular science assignment or index card project because you'll come here on a Tuesday in March and mysteriously, they'll be completely out of science fair boards, or index cards. read more
