    Just to be fair my complaint IS NOT about this location, it is about trying to get my 85 year old…read moremother's FIOS fixed: she has no internet, no phone service and no television service. She lives in NJ and I live in IL, so I can't just "pop over" and try to help her. My mother uses her land line to talk to all of her friends, the internet to send emails, and she watches the news and her favorite shows on the TV. Without her phone, internet service and the television she is cut off from the community of her friends and the rest of the world. COVID has isolated her enough, however, VERIZON has her COMPLETELY cut off from the rest of the world. She says this problem has happened to her four or five times in the last few years. Certainly sounds like FIOS service in Nj isn't very reliable. She called us this evening absolutely at her wits end, she says she has spent HOURS on the phone calling Verizon and can't has not been able to get her FIOS problem fixed. My mother gave us all of the phone numbers she has used to call Verizon to get tech support. It took my wife 30 minutes just to get onto a waiting queue to get tech support. Hold times are approximately 1hour, wow, Verizon apparently really does have an unreliable system if they have that many people calling for support. As of the time I have gotten to this part of my complaint, my wife has already been on hold for over 30 minutes, with no end in sight. So VERIZON, what does my 85 year-old mother who lives alone, and isn't really tech savvy, need to do to get this problem fixed?

The sales reps here are friendly and attentive and will not hesitate to explain all of your options before you make a decision. In my case, I needed a new screen protector for an older phone that is not supported. Instead of being blown off, they suggested I either contact the manufacturer or they could look in their local stock. I chose the latter option. When they told me they did not have what I needed, they did recommend an outside kiosk to remedy my need. This is Service 101. In the short term, this Verizon location did not get my money. But in the long run, they get my future business and possibly business from other people that read this review. And it is service like this that makes me stay with this Verizon.

Tylo clearly loves his job and he is passionate about helping the people that come into his store get the right product for them AND save them money!. Tylo was so patient with us over our 2 day ordeal of transferring everything from sprint over to t-mobile. He made countless phone calls to ease our way, made us laugh when we were beyond frustrated and made the whole process feel less aggravating considering the rigamarole of the transfer. Our daughter who is on our plan lives in California and he even called THEIR t-mobile to assist in the transition! Tylo was so sweet and patient towards our toddler as well which was a huge bonus for us because he spent quite a bit of time in that store. I would 10/10 recommend Tylo to anyone who asks, he honestly made the transition something we could handle. He was so upfront and honest about literally everything. Thank you again Tylo!

    For all the options available, I decided to go to Best Buy and purchase a pre-owned iPhone. I knew…read moreexactly which one I wanted because I had already looked on your website. As soon as we walked into the store, an employee offered us a promotion: 15% back after applying for the store credit card and making the first purchase. It sounded like a good deal. We waited for assistance, and then Sohan came over. We looked at the iPhone options, and once I made my decision, I decided to apply for the store credit card to take advantage of the promotion. I have a strong credit score, so I believed one inquiry would be worth it. I was going to apply myself, but Sohan said he would handle it, which I agreed to. He then processed the application and said he needed to call the bank. While supposedly handling my application, he was on the phone watching videos and scrolling through social media on his personal phone. After a few minutes, he told me I had been approved for the Best Buy Gold Card with an annual fee. I immediately asked why, since that was not the card I applied for. He said that was "what the bank told him." At that point, I became very concerned because none of it made sense. I was applying for the regular store credit card, not a Gold Card with fees attached. Instead of giving a proper explanation, Sohan carelessly responded, "Do you want it or not?" I said no and was understandably upset. Another employee approached and asked what happened. After I explained the situation, he admitted there are different card options during the application process and asked Sohan if he had explained those options to us beforehand. Sohan admitted he had not. He apologized, but by then claimed there was nothing they could do because "it was the bank's decision." I then asked for a manager. This is absolutely unacceptable. A Best Buy employee made a careless mistake and damaged my credit in a matter of seconds. Then Jonny, the supervisor, came over and was even more dismissive. He simply repeated that there was nothing they could do and that I needed to contact the bank myself. I told him that Best Buy caused the problem, so Best Buy should be the one contacting the bank to correct it. Again, I was told there was nothing they could do. Furious, I continued with my purchase only because I had already wasted enough time. This entire experience was ridiculous, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Best Buy needs employees who are properly trained in customer service and competent enough to complete something as basic as a credit card application. I have completed many credit applications before, and I am not naive enough to believe the excuses I was given. My credit score is now going to suffer after years of hard work, all because of the incompetence and negligence of one of your employees.
