I've been a Verizon customer for over 10 years, I've had this phone for 5 years and they still want to charge me an additional 40 dollar upgrade charge? Crystal was the person, I started out with. I have been here observing while waiting on a ride. I would not say she's mean but she seems unpleasant and disengaged. I walked in this evening (Friday, 1/3/2025), and the three store employees continued to stare at each other, not saying a word. I was the only customer present in the store. Despite having zero other customers, there was no greeting or welcome. This was a full hour before store closing time. I received the most shamelessly combative customer service I recall ever experiencing in my life. Every reply was curt and rude. At one point, I asked the female worker if I could please borrow a pen, and she replied, "I'm kind of dry right now." Regardless of whatever that means.. it is almost as if all three of these store employees had a vendetta against customers for simply being there. I was a Verizon customer for years, but after this dehumanizing experience, I decided to switch to XFinity tonight. They were class acts at the XFinity store. Service. I enrolled into the 5G wireless home network and I am not able to access or enroll into the app to redeem the promotion for a meta headset. They talk me I need to redeem it through the app. Well when I try to reset my password, the app sends me a code via regular mail because they can't send me a reset code to a phone number that is not a Verizon number. What crack of bullshit is that. I spend 2 hours on the phone with a rep that can barely speak English and they tell me I need to go to a corporate store and reset it there. Well I sent an appt.. show up upon the date and time and behold... they tell me they can't hell me because they need to send a reset temporary password via snail mail again. So I get the damn code in the mail and guess what. The app tells me after I input the temporary password. It tells me it's gonna send a a code to a phone number that I have no clue who it belongs time. It sure as fuck isn't my phone number. This is ridiculous. As soon as I get a new service with another provider I'm dropping this shit. read more

Omar at this locations is extremely rude and shouldn't try to sell a 90 year old person items they don't need. He also shouldn't talk down to family members trying to assist seniors by phone. After changing phone plans due to an internet hotspot that wasn't being used, but still was being billed, Roger, online rep stated my fathers phone would shutoff and should be turned back on in 5 mins. My dad didn't hear the instructions, so his phone was still off the next morning. He went to Verizon to see what was going on and was sold a new e-SIM card. Omar proceeded to sell him Verizon Internet Gateway. After I told Omar my dad's address didn't have access to Internet and he currently accesses the Internet on his iPad, Omar insisted Internet was available at his address and wouldn't give my dad his phone back so I could speak with him. Two years ago my dad was sold an iPhone for almost $2K at one of the "authorized" Verizon dealers when he didn't need a new phone. Please stop abusing seniors. read more

Went today to take care of some issues and also upgrade my phone. The 2 ladies were very helpful. At one point they needed to get the manager Milan and he was also helpful. These 2 entitled Caucasian ladies (although one stayed quiet most of the time) came in and treated Milan like inferior trash and let me tell you he handled it exceptionally. He didn't even lose his composure for a moment. They continued to mock him and the staff for the next 30-40 minutes and not one of them said anything in response or mistreated them at all. One of the ladies kept saying she was going to sue them and that she was going to get her story all over the news. I could sure learn a thing or 2 from this Verizon team. Before it was even our turn the lady that was going to help my mother answered all my questions. She was not just beautiful on the outside she was gorgeous. She just had such a warm spirit. I love my phone and watch I got but felt so awkward with the entire process of getting the items. I came in , in need of a new phone. the man who helped me kept suggesting different iPhones that were out of stock for in stores, I finally settled on an iPhone 15 which was there. the man kept questioning mocking me for not getting any additions, in a very subtle way where me and my friend both noticed his awkward side comments on me not getting other items. so I decided to add an Apple Watch to the purchase. As I was ready to pay , the purchase wouldn't go through with the only card I use or purchases and I had no issues with my card at all. I have the funding for the purchase. the employee doubted my funding and made me call my bank and also suggested for my friend to pay for me ??? anyways, I called my bank , no issue . I used my friends phone to sign into my bank account to check to make sure everything was okay but while doing this the employee gave no privacy and stood right behind me as I checked my bank even after my request for privacy I had to step away after. again no issues with funding or my card service. the employee finally used a different card reader for my purchase and it worked perfectly. and mind you while he's acting weird, his little iPhone was cracked to hell!! This employee was nice but needs some more training on social interactions his service makes me hate Verizon. Most awkward transaction ever. read more

Very large shared parking lot. STORE: This location has been here for a long time...as far as my memory time line, since mid 1990s. About 4-6 Cust Service counters on the left side upon entrance, right side has cell phone displays, & furthest to the back is Tech Support Dept. This location stays pretty busy on weekends. CUST SVC: I've been a VW customer for 10+yrs, & have no intentions of leaving. Cust Svc overall as a company has always been helpful over the phone, plus various retail locations. I went to buy iPhone 10X I traded in iPhone 7 they told us the value would be $350 for the I 7 so when we finised everything I found out the value was 277 so I objected and I was going to cancel the whole thing then Mr. Richard Lee the manager heard what we were talking about and he said I will credit you $50 not now but in July because I ran out of my credit for this month come July the credit was not there I text Mr. Lee and he told me he was on vacation when he goes back he will credit my account but he did not text him again then he said he cannot give me the credit because I got $75 credit from Verizon for something completely different and he said he will not be able to give us more credit Verizon refunded me $75 because they are Cheaters and I cut them in the act so when I called customer service they give me the money back but Mr. Lee refuse to give me the $50 credit he promised too bad you think you have the word of the manager of the store you walk away with all confident but unfortunately it's a lie and will never go back to the stupid store it is the worst store I just don't understand the store always had bad managers working there so next week I'm switching my seven numbers over to T-Mobile on my bill will be cut in half from $410 a month to $220 a-month it's really worth it to switch and punish Verizon for having such a bad managers Verizon can go to hell as far as I'm concerned And I also called 611 the customer service and I was promised a call by Tuesday but nobody cared to call me that's why no more Verizon read more

It is supposed to take 3 business days for arrival. It did take a while for this one transaction. It's a nice store with plenty of devices on display and demo. Total time for my visit was less than 10 minutes. I was greeted by Andre who was very confident and calm in his manner. I had damage to my charge port. Andre simply sent a refurbished phone to my that will arrive tomorrow at my home. I went yesterday to the unauthorized Verizon store in Alameda. The rep that came to help me, never gave me her name and had no name tag on and never asked for ID to get into the account which is a policy Verizon has. Asked for a manager because her attitude sucked and she wasn't helpful or professional and she went to get him and he was like what does she expect me to do. They need Corporate to come in and observe what is happening in this store. I had the greatest experience here today. It was a Saturday around 10:30am and the parking lot was hectic. I really hoped that I wouldn't have to wait in a long line, it was Saturday after all. And who the freak wakes up early to go to the Verizon store unless there's a new phone out? Well, me... because I happen to be up early on a Saturday (forcibly so) for another appointment that was made last minute... So I walk into the lovely, EMPTY air conditioned building (Yes!) with my sad, cracked screen iPhone and I was quickly approached by a young women ready to help. "Hi, what are you in for?" "I cracked my screen but I have insurance on this phone." "Do you just want the same phone you have now?" "What's the price difference if I upgrade?" Goes on to tell me that if I upgrade its the same price as I'm paying now, I just have to buy out my old phone (which wasn't much).
